Truth: Who was your first crush, or who is your current crush?
Crush? I have never had one, I do not think.
Truth || What is going on between you and Wanda? What are your feelings about her?
Vanda? I have only met her a few days ago -- She is a very sweet and beautiful voman but my feelings could never be more than platonic especially since monsters to do get to love.
“Of course it doesn’t — and if it did bother anyone, it isn’t your job to apologize, it’s their fault for being an awful person. You couldn’t be farther from a freak, Mutants are among, if not the, most admirable beings on this little planet of ours. I was just…startled, honest. How bad are the scratches? Should you sit—?”
Kurt had heard this before, the whole ‘mutants should be proud of who they are’ but when it came to mutants like him, mutants with abilities that were more than just on the inside then people just couldn’t look beyond that. No matter how many people told him that there were others who’d except him, it just didn’t seem possible. Don’t vorry yourself -- I have endured vorse than a few scratches. I vill be fine. He explained, hoping it would put the woman at ease. Am I allowed to know your name?
Letting it out || Kurt and Wanda
Wanda smiled at him when he gave her a small smile. “Are you sure Kurt?” She blushed a little, noticing his shirtlessness. “You know.. if I keep seeing your beautiful shade of blue.. I’m not going to want to see any other color.” She giggled softly. “I happen to be rather fond of blue, it’s such a pretty color.” She nodded. “If you are sure,” She lowered her hand and looked at him. He was handsome, so very handsome, blue fur and all. “I’m sorry.. this is probably going to be very strange, but I believe you are extremely handsome.” She shyly tangled her fingers together, her cheeks still flushed.
I’m sure. He nodded over at Wanda as he took in a deep breath. His eyes flitted over her face to see the blush blooming on her cheeks which he didn’t understand. Had he said something wrong? Was it his appearance? The mention of his coloring confused him again, he just couldn’t comprehend why someone, especially someone like Wanda was being so nice to him. He was about to comment on her talk of him being blue when he was surprised by something else she had to say. He was handsome to her. Hah -- Uh -- tank you, you are very beautiful yourself Vanda. Kurt stuttered out, nervously rubbing the back of his neck.
Letting it out || Kurt and Wanda
Wanda heard him, not really meaning to be listening in, but her mind had been wandering. She shot off one last shot and then stopped, running out to check on her fallen friend. “Kurt…” She looked at him, dropping to her knees by his side. “Oh my.. are you hurt?” She took in a deep breath. She looked at him and cupped his cheek in her hand. “Kurt..” She took in a deep breath, trying to keep herself calm, seeing him hurt made her a bit upset.
Kurt was fine, just probably going to be a bit bruised not like anyone would actually see through his layer of blue fur. He was just sitting up when Wanda came running from the other training room. The look of concern on her face was so much different than the ones of confusion and horror he was used to. Kurt felt awkward, with her hand on his cheek while he was also shirtless which he didn’t know if she could take seeing all the blueness that he was. Vanda I am fine but tank you for your concern. He said softly offering her a small smile before he got up, dusting off his tail which was still pretty sore from being fallen on.
The eyes. The skin. The tail. The powerset. He was…he couldn’t have been there. Couldn’t have been sitting there, apologizing to her — him! apologizing to her! — for reacting so strongly. No. No, it couldn’t be him. It was impossible. She’d — that bundle — Bavaria didn’t happen. Nothing had happened. This…mutant, was entirely and wholly a stranger.
But god, he had his father’s tail…
“N-no, no, don’t apologize, it’s just — I startle easy, on…on my off hours. I’m sorry. Are you alright - Kurt?” Wincing slightly, she shook her head. “I have — no issues with your coloring. Whatsoever. Believe me.”
Kurt was about to walk away, leaving the poor woman alone since he did scare her with his jumping out the closet even if it was on accident. The least he could do was leave her in peace, not having to be afraid of his looks like many others were. Then words stopped him, the sound of her apologizing to him and the fact that the way he looked didn’t bother her. He glanced back up at the woman, the way she was looking at him was slightly unsettling. Like she knew him or thought she knew him. I am fine -- really, just few scratches and sore back is all. He explained hesitantly. Vhy? You do not see me as a freak?
“Tele…porting. Right.” Slowly, Raven nodded, reminding herself the power couldn’t be all that uncommon, swallowing back any and all weakness that would have shown in her voice otherwise.
When he fell, however, it all came rushing back. Wide eyes stared downward, and she couldn’t even summon the energy to extend her hand to help him up. “You’re…you’re blue,” she murmured under her breath, inching backward. “A-and you…are you a mutant? What are you? Who are you?”
Right. Kurt nodded before letting out a breath as he leaned forward and finally pulled the bucket from his foot. As he stood up on his own, using his knee to help him he heard her murmur and realized his hood was no longer up. Yellow pupiless eyes widened. He wanted to pull up the hood again but it was too late, she was already scared, already asking questions. K-Kurt Vagner -- I’m a mutant -- I didn’t mean to scare you, I know humans do not take too vell to my appearance. I can leave if it vill make you feel better? Kurt offered not noticing that the fall had knocked his tail loose from the place where he’d tucked it in, hanging near his legs.
“Underestimated you what-?” Raven asked, eyes narrowing impatiently, guards being thrown up at the…familiarity of his face. Not that she’d seen him before, but…
“How do you get lost and end up trapped by janitorial supplies?”
Bamfing? -- oh how vould it -- ah! Teleporting! I teleported vrong, dat is much easier to understand, ja? Kurt glanced up at the girl quickly, not seeing anything other than the fact that she was a very beautiful woman before finally losing his balance. Hood falling, exposing his blue face to the harsh lighting of the halls as he landed right onto his tail which was tucked away. Scheiße! He exclaimed, rubbing his backside.
“Who is that, and how did you get in here—?” Was it really impossible to get a minute alone? Not that she minded Charles’ company, but campus life was proving a little too crowded for her taste. Glancing down toward the source of the noise, she froze.
Kurt fumbled around, his hood still tight over his head and his tail tucked into his jeans so he’d seem more normal among the students. He tried to grab out at anything he could get his hands onto to help him get steady enough to pull the bucket off but found himself balancing on his free foot. Uh -- I very sorry, Fräulein! I vas just trying to get to class vhen I underestimated my bamf. He explained quickly.
Kori smiled. “Why don’t you just keep it, I’ve gotten to know my way around mostly and its been buried in my purse.” said happily folding and it and passing it over to Kurt.
Kurt took the map into his gloved hand and offered Kori a small awkward smile. Tank you, Kori -- if you need anything dat involves getting some place fast, you can call me anytime. He joked softly before putting the folded up map into his pocket.
Letting it out || Kurt and Wanda
Wanda had gotten into her training gear and had moved into the training room and saw Kurt on the pommel horse. She stood there in silent admiration for a long time, letting him flow gracefully over it. She took in a deep breath and smiled, trying to not think or speak. She fixed her hair, putting it up preparing herself for her training. He was agile, quick, and absolutely talented. The academy was right for recruiting him, he was going places. Wanda crossed the room and into the chamber for using your powers. Through the clear glass she could still see him and he was sure to see her. She hit the simulation button and started pulling her powers, trying to focus them on the ballistics dummy in front of her, shooting red sparks at it.
Kurt changed things up, balancing on one hand, his body completely being held up on that one hand. He started to bend his elbow and do what seemed like a strange kind of push up and then again. The blue boy did that a few more times before something in his peripheral vision moved. Kurt turned his head quickly to see what is was and saw Wanda, the girl he had met when he had gotten foot stuck in a bucket. The momentum of his head moving causing his body to fall out of balance, his body flopping down onto the mat next to the pommel horse. Scheiße. He groaned as he sat up and pulled his tail from under leg where he’d fallen onto it. That was going to be extremely sore tomorrow.
“So we’re here” she pointed at the map. “And it looks like you’ll need to go this way” she said dragging her finger along his supposed route which was really just around the corner and up one floor. “Oh, and you’re really very welcome Kurt.”
Uh-huh. Kurt nodded as he listened to Kori explain where they where and where they were had to go to where he needed to go. Oh -- I vent the complete opposite vay. He chuckled softly before nodding once again. Vould if be alright if I borrowed this map?
Clutching her books as close as she could to her body, Harley walked through the halls. Hopefully unnoticed. Harley thought to herself as she brushed away some loose strains of her light blonde hair. She heard a loud noise and couldn’t help but turn her head in the direction of it. Soft giggles left her mouth when she saw the mop bucket on the boy. “Do you need help?”
Kurt looked up to see a giggling blonde which distracted him and caused him to fall flat on his face. He usually had more balance but with bucket stuck on his foot it caused him to be less steady. Uh -- dat vould be nice. He said with a sigh as he sat up from the ground and tugged at the bucket on his foot.
It’s alright the though that counts right? well when it comes to people only apparently. You and me both buddy, I’ve survived just fine since high school without it, or at least with what little i do know.
I do get vhy ve have to learn of our history and grammar but the math, it does not help in any endeavor in the real life dat I have had.
