I think the true triumph for Kakyoin would be his friends making it out from DIO's curse, but triumph for his friends would include him in the mix (I get them) and love is pretty self explanatory but yeah, the nice lady you risked your life for and your brother in all but blood are good people to be loved by and to love <3

I'll probably go back and do some of the other prompts just because excuses to draw Kakyoin are always good but yeah, happy Kakyoin month!

finished rereading sbr with my partner so here's a plethora of shit i drew during/right after it. all part 7 things ofc. probable spoilers ahead because i yap a little bit about some of the drawings

drew the thing next to ^ that after we read (skimmed) the fuckery near the napkin speech. because holy fuck.

drew these after the soundman fight. johnny and gyro's willingness to die/be maimed/sacrifice for each other and their tendencies to scream the other one's name at maximum volume with desperation in their eyes if they got even slightly hurt was REALLY getting to me.

drew the last four in a frenzy after finishing. will never stop thinking about sbr and all its characters it's my fave part for a reason...........SO fucking good dude

honestly? i have no idea. personally i feel like kakyoin would wear anything and everything from dresses and heels and lace to fancy suits and ripped-up jeans and studded belts. so long as it's stylish and able to fit into an outfit well

the only other condition aside from "doesn't look atrocious" is that it has to be long sleeves/not TOO ripped-up because i get the feeling he's someone who just prefers to hide himself from the general public and maintain his privacy. listen. i grab you by the shoulders (or stare very frighteningly into your eyes if you'd rather not be touched). i have this little worm in my brain that tells me hierophant green being able to stretch far and wide but preferring to cram itself into tiny spaces is some sort of metaphor for kakyoin being aware he could put himself out there to try and make connections but Knowing (or firmly believing) it would serve no purpose because nobody can see his stand and thus truly Get Him. so this is reflected onto his outfits and he dresses in a way that is not necessarily revealing but still would stand out from a crowd.

but if there is a dress code anywhere he is following it, and if he's going to someone's house, for like. a family dinner or something. he's dressing formally because he would get too embarrassed dressing like himself in the home of people he doesn't know all that well. and it HAS to be someone he's unfamiliar with because he wouldn't gaf near jotaro or polnareff or avdol but if some random fellow student befriended him and said "you should come over!!" he's rocking up in the most polite fit you've ever laid your eyes upon
