Id like to believe that if he survived, he would awake not so long after— about 3 months after the trip. He probably couldn’t move much due to his spine being punched out, yet I’d like to believe that if Jojo was there by his side, he could help him ‘catch up’ with class. He would basically be doing distance-school, but he wouldn’t be alone. It’s far too cruel to leave the boy who has been alone all his life who then finds people he connected with alone again.

Jotaro does think it’s his fault still, the topic came up accidentally and he ended up confessing just how tired and scared he was. Nori ended up reassuring him it wasn’t his fault. They became a lot closer after that.

@kakyoinmonth day 30!!!! (I postponed this so much what the fuck it’s not even august anymore 😭😭) — message / pride / flaw

It’s a silly doodle but I’ve been thinking about how to showcase “pride” since I know just how prideful kakyoin is— in his appearance, abilities, personality— he isn’t the insecure type. But the only thing that came to mind is this one scene after the red hot chilli pepper fight in the wwm/ta fanfic (I ain’t searching for the chapter) that basically went like this

And also this thing that I think would deeply hurt his pride but it’s too silly his ass would be locking the fuck in to then go home and tell his parents what happened while freaking out in a bunch of “DO I LOOK QUEER??” ‘S

(Note! This is a song used to tease people in Spanish. It’s basically saying “they’re partners! They’re partners!” The whole thing is kinda obscene but that’s another topic. It’s kinda like the “K-I-S-S-I-N-G” thing. It’s also kinda his boyfriend’s fault for not locking in on the only moment he should have)

I also imagined how he’d be really stubborn before, during and after physical therapy (imagine he survived) and how if jotaro was there he would always try to scare the shit out of him to not help him but after almost slipping like 7 times he finally let himself be helped when he was tired. But yk I don’t rlly know how to express that in a comic

Second, I imagine that if Kakyoin and Jotaro were to be ponies, none of them would have a cutie mark until adulthood. And both of them use their gakurans to casually hide that they do not have cutie marks. And both of them found out about the other not having a cutie mark when they had to sleep together during the trip like imagine “…blank a-“ and splash goes “the donkey talking ‘bout ears.” I SWEAR THIS SAYING IS FUNNIER IN SPANISH

I also think that their stand names/abilities could perfectly be the pony names like….emerald splash and star plat……..um…….yeah

Also I think I’ll make alienyoin an…au character?? If you could call it that??? It’s just as if an imitation ability was used but by an alien and that mf refuses to change shape but Mr Joestar convinces everyone to let alienyoin stay and it can also read minds and and uh it has very similar weaknesses as mikita- *gets shot*

I think the true triumph for Kakyoin would be his friends making it out from DIO's curse, but triumph for his friends would include him in the mix (I get them) and love is pretty self explanatory but yeah, the nice lady you risked your life for and your brother in all but blood are good people to be loved by and to love <3

I'll probably go back and do some of the other prompts just because excuses to draw Kakyoin are always good but yeah, happy Kakyoin month!

honestly? i have no idea. personally i feel like kakyoin would wear anything and everything from dresses and heels and lace to fancy suits and ripped-up jeans and studded belts. so long as it's stylish and able to fit into an outfit well

the only other condition aside from "doesn't look atrocious" is that it has to be long sleeves/not TOO ripped-up because i get the feeling he's someone who just prefers to hide himself from the general public and maintain his privacy. listen. i grab you by the shoulders (or stare very frighteningly into your eyes if you'd rather not be touched). i have this little worm in my brain that tells me hierophant green being able to stretch far and wide but preferring to cram itself into tiny spaces is some sort of metaphor for kakyoin being aware he could put himself out there to try and make connections but Knowing (or firmly believing) it would serve no purpose because nobody can see his stand and thus truly Get Him. so this is reflected onto his outfits and he dresses in a way that is not necessarily revealing but still would stand out from a crowd.

but if there is a dress code anywhere he is following it, and if he's going to someone's house, for like. a family dinner or something. he's dressing formally because he would get too embarrassed dressing like himself in the home of people he doesn't know all that well. and it HAS to be someone he's unfamiliar with because he wouldn't gaf near jotaro or polnareff or avdol but if some random fellow student befriended him and said "you should come over!!" he's rocking up in the most polite fit you've ever laid your eyes upon
