Jotaro hates beating around the bush, huh… “I’ve already been discharged,” he answers, and Jotaro blinks, glancing down at his watch, brows raising. Kakyoin wonders how long he’s been in this hallway. “Where are the others?” He asks instead. Jotaro’s lips press together, brows dropping. “... Okuyasu was getting his own check up. Yukako and Koichi went with him. Tonio went to go get food for everyone.” His gaze darts down. “... Aya and Rohan are talking with Miss Higashikata.” His frown deepens, eyes glazing. “I should be with them, but I…” Kakyoin frowns, slowly rolling forward, and Jotaro drags his gaze up to meet him.

It happens too fast. Even though Okuyasu jumps back from Killer Queen, even though Hierophant just grabbed Okuyasu’s leg and was starting to pull him to safety, even though Kakyoin swears Killer Queen didn’t touch- BOOM! Okuyasu lets out a throaty, choked shout as his side is blown up, so hot that his blood can’t even land in droplets but instead fills the air with a coppery scent that makes the rain sour. He goes flying, landing in a heap in a nearby garden. He doesn’t move. Josuke lets out a screech, a gut-wrenching, right-from-his-chest wail that Kakyoin has half the mind to cover his ears over.

Do you know where Kira is?” “I- I-” Hayato sputters again, before he shakes his head rapidly. “I don’t- I don’t-” BITES THE DUST!
