He chuckled again at the mention of the cemetery.â I never had a date in a cemetery so I think that would actually be a pretty neat Idea. Something to add to my list. Maybe we can bring someone back from the dead, do a little ritual with our coffee. Maybe will find a secret entrance to a cult! The possibilities are endless.âÂ
Oscars cheek grew red. â Iâm not disappointed! Iâm actually pretty glad⊠I m-mean if I had to go on a date with anyone Iâm glad itâs with you.â He looked down at his hands playing with them nervously. Come on now Oscar, calm down.Â
âYou and me both.â Oliver agreed, proud to see that the idea wasnât too out there--even for a enthusiastic space geek like Oscar. The man rambled about their potential activities and it stirred a happy laugh from Strand. It still remained on the quiet side, given his deep voice, but the pearly whites gave it all away. âIâve got a morning ritual, but now Iâm curious what other sĂ©anceâs you get up to with a cup of java. Where do you even research this stuff?â
Before turning to purchase said java Oliver took pause to admire the sight of a blushing Oscar. It was kind of amazing that this was a first, considering how they met, and only made the moment more important. The illustrator didnât react in this way easily. âThatâs reassuring.â Oliver smiled again, a bit lopsided and more genuine. âWhen you say it like that I feel I should have asked sooner.â With that, he left Oscar for the moment to purchase and collect their preferred cups of joe and exited the coffee spoon at his side. âA stroll through a graveyard takes some of the edge off at least. With date nerves, I mean. âalready a lilâ jittery over the ideaâ
