HELLO!
I'm going to be back on this account, but I'm basically starting over. If you want to interact, message me or like this!
Planning on restarting this account. All RPs will start over [save for maybe one or two]. I'm just not sure how to go about this
"Well, because we don’t buy food,” he explained. “We’d try to, but Claire is too young to work, I’d need a work permit since I’m only sixteen, and Jazz can’t really hold a, uh, a durable form. Her skin comes off — it’s nasty. Like, it doesn’t come off super easily, but it’s not like normal skin. Claire accidentally tore her nose off this one time, and just… well, if that happened at a job because she had an accident, and the skin just grew back or it all started shedding, she’d be screwed. So, we don’t have money, so we can’t buy anything. Since most stores have security cameras, she can’t risk being herself- or the form she uses as herself.”
He never really understood why Jasmine couldn’t shift to her natural appearance. The shifter always told him the same thing — that she didn’t know what she was supposed to look like — but that never made sense to Allen. Still, he never pressed the question too much. He couldn’t help but wonder what she would look like, though.
Allen looked away when Sam asked what he expected, trying to think of something that didn’t sound completely idiotic. He decided to go with the truth anyways. “Honestly? Something cooler. An earpiece, or a radio-transmitter-watch-thing… like from the movies. Just something less plain, ya know? Just a boring old cellphone is kinda disappointing.”
The werewolf leaned back in his seat, arms folded in an attempt to keep warm despite the cool night air. It would be great if they could go inside, but most places were closed by this time of night. Then again, he wouldn’t be so cold if he wore something other than a t-shirt and shorts for once. He couldn’t hold back a slight shiver.
Sam felt a chill run through his body; not from the weather, but from knowing exactly what Allen was talking about when he mentioned how easily a shifter’s skin could come off — he well remembered himself and Dean stumbling across the numerous piles of…whatever it was the things were really made of. And it was something he’d rather forget. It didn’t sound like a very pleasant way of living, that was for sure. “—And the people she’s been..impersonating, they’ve never gotten into any trouble about it?” Because even if they didn’t have a lot of other options, those were still people that she was using to steal food. Sam couldn’t hold back a small laugh when Allen admitted to what he’d expected a hunter to use for communication. Hunting was definitely not like the movies, but it was sensible as to why he’d think that. Hardly anyone knew what hunters even were, so he’d heard things that were more ridiculous than assumptions about the technology. “Well, it’s not exactly a well-paid job. Kinda have to just use what you have.” Besides, it wasn’t like hunters were that different from other people. Aside from the salt rounds and nightmares. He looked down briefly, though managed to catch Allen’s shivering and raised an eyebrow. He hadn’t noticed how much it’d cooled down outside, but then again he was wearing three layers. “Do you…wanna find somewhere inside?” He asked with caution, unsure of what would happen if he went somewhere with this guy. But he didn’t want the kid to freeze to death, either. He pointed out the obvious. “You’re shivering a little.”
"Well... Well, not that I know of. Even if they did get in trouble, it's just a bit of food. You can't get jail time for that shit, right? I mean, at least nothing serious. Just a fine or a stay overnight." The teen trailed off. Why was he even defending it? No matter what, theft was wrong, but they had no other choice. Stealing was better than starvation. He did feel bad for the few times that people were caught, but most of them had sturdy alibis. They were fine.
"I mean, two teens and a five-year-old. Monsters or not, we need food. At least we don't eat people." The very idea of that terrified him. Jasmine told him that vampires were real, too, and the thought of only being able to survive by feeding on humans... it made him nauseous. Of course, the teen purposely ignore the taste of blood in his mouth after a full moon. He also skipped over the parts of the news stories that added that the heart was missing.
Allen wasn't the brightest, but he wasn't stupid. He made the connection. However, that didn't mean he was about to accept it. Ignorance is bliss, as the saying goes.
Hunting down people like himself couldn't be easy and certainly couldn't be safe. It sounded like a pretty shitty job, over all, so when Sam pointed out that there wasn't much pay, Allen just stared for a moment.
"Wait, seriously? You don't even get good cash for all this? So, you aren't in one of those secret government agencies or something. I mean, I'd think they'd get good pay. But you just -- damn. Then how do you manage to buy supplies? Is that at least provided?"
At mention of his shivering, the werewolf gave a nod. "Yeah... Yeah, that'd be nice. There's a gas station about a block from here. The guy who usually does night shift sleeps most of the time, so he won't if we hang there. Just- Just don't wake him up. He's a dick." Allen wasn't about to admit it, but the old man kinda scared him. His lazy eye, the way he glared, the fact that he always looked so judgmental: he was like a long lost Scooby-Doo villain.

"Exactly. It’s not like I can go to everyone and mentally connect our minds together, making them hear it too. Some beings out there have a mind that blocks so strongly, my mental link wouldn’t even work. And some have a mind that blocks so weakly… I could control them without ever coming into contact with them, hell, without seeing them." The Master had a mind somewhere in the strong side, but there were people who could break his walls down. Very few, and he had yet to encounter any more of them.
"Doesn’t matter the amount of hearts… it matters the pattern.." his fingers started to tap on his chest. "Onetwothreefour, onetwothreefour, four beats, drumming through my skull. They never end, they never stop. But they’re real. They come from somewhere. I just can’t figure out where.." he trailed off, that wasn’t important now. "You should build up your mental barriers. They’re fairly… sturdy, but anyone who’s of true threat and enter your skull and walk you around like they were your puppeteer."
Coming from somewhere, huh? Maybe his brain acted like a car radio. Maybe he could hear radio waves, and all mashed together, it sounded like a steady beat. That wasn't possible, though. Even if it were, it wouldn't make a beat, right? It would be a messy garble of sound with no pattern or rhythm. Jasmine couldn't see any reason for him to hear drums other than that he was crazy, but he couldn't be. The Master made her hear it. It had to be real.
"Well, that's great and all, but that's not much of a choice. Not sure about your home, ET, but here on Earth we don't have classes on that stuff. Most people think it's all made up shit, same thing they say about shifters and werewolves. Pretty sure I won't be able to find any school for training 'mental barriers.'" It certainly sounded interesting, though, not to mention helpful. It could probably work on fellow supernaturals, as well, like jinns.
Sorry I disappeared!
I haven't been feeling very well, and my mom insisted that we visit some family membersout of town. I'm back now, though! I'm working on replied.

"Just because I’ve heard of it doesn’t mean I want it.” The shifter put her hands on her hips.
She gave a shrug, “Who said I was asking?” She looked around the surrounds.
Jasmine huffed. Honestly, what was this lady's problem? "Who said you were even allowed to ask? When I want to be alone, I get to be alone. I'm not in the mood to accept buddy applications from some bitch I've never met."
I highly recommend you follow the person I reblogged this from.

"Yeah, yeah." The Master grumbled. He has had these drums for centuries— there wasn’t much to talk about there. Much less did he need anyone else’s pity, a few people’s pity were bad enough, especially if one of those people were the Doctor. It was agitating, and he just didn’t like it at all. "I’ve been told multiple times the drums were part of my insanity. He didn’t even bother to listen…" he growled, kicking the dirt.
"Everything. They judge everything I do, everything I say. Do this, do that, don’t do this, don’t do that, every second.." he muttered. "One, two, three, four, every second!" he placed his hands over his chest, right over his two hearts. "The drums match my two hearts beating.."
"I dunno about that... I mean, you made me hear them, and I don't imagine shit," They sounded pretty damn real to her. They had to be real for them to be so clear, right? It sounded like people got it backwards, then -- drums weren't a part of it; they were the cause. How to fix it was beyond her, though. It was probably some weird alien cure: nothing she could do.
"Two hearts. Right." That was still a bit unsettling. The man looked so human. How could he be so different inside?-- not in the emotional way, but in the literal blood-and-guts-inside way. "I remember hearing somewhere that octopuses have three hearts, so I guess they've got ya beat there." She paused, biting back a snort. Beat. Like a heartbeat. Accidental puns were the best puns.
But now probably would be a bad time to laugh.
Jasmine took a step back, looking over the stranger. “Who are you?”
The demon was still smirking, “What never heard of some company?”
"Just because I've heard of it doesn't mean I want it." The shifter put her hands on her hips.

"And lookie who we have here?"
Jasmine took a step back, looking over the stranger. "Who are you?"

Bobby made sure to keep his distance from the girl, well aware of the fact that she was looking uncomfortable. He leant back against the support of the swing. “Alright, ya gotta find a better food source fer the kid. Best way ta do that’s findin’ yerself a blood bank an’ gettin’ blood from there.” He explained. “Yer gonna have ta find one a good distance ‘way, last thing ya wanna do attract attention ta yerself.”
He thought for a few moments, wondering how she’d be able to pull something like that off. He knew what hunters looked for, blood bank robberies, massive amounts of blood being stolen. If that was going to be in the news, then that’d draw the hunters straight over to them.
“Yer gonna wanna hit a different bank each time, don’t use the same one twice in a row, hunters’re gonna be lookin’ fer things like that. if yer somethin’ supernatural yerself, avoid lookin’ at the cameras, that’s the first thing hunters’re gonna look fer.” He watched her for a few moments. “Any blood bags that’re empty, burn ‘em, don’t toss ‘em out with the trash, it’ll lead hunters right ta ya.”
She nodded slowly. Well, that could work. She wasn't sure where any blood banks were, but she could still try. How exactly would she go about stealing blood, though? Banks were probably heavily guarded. Jasmine could take the form of one of the workers, but that could easily make her get caught by hunters.
"How exactly would I do that, though? I can't go in there alone. Vampire nests and stuff at least have enough back up to break in, but it'd just be me, maybe Allen." There was no way the shifter would take Rachamim or Claire. It would be much too dangerous. She was even uneasy at the thought of taking Allen. She didn't want him to get caught on security cameras.
No Animals Were Harmed
Muse A is a scientist working for a secret government organization that studies supernatural creatures. At first, the experiments began in search of an anti-venom to prevent other supernaturals from being created, but the studies have moved onto crueler methods as they begin looking for ways to make Super Soldiers with several Supernaturals’ abilities and none of the weaknesses.
Muse B is one of the creatures (ie, a werewolf or vampire). Living in a cage, constantly being poked and prodded with needles and forced into endurance tests, they clearly aren’t fond of Muse A or their associates.
After Muse A gets promoted, they find themselves alone with the creatures for extended periods of time as they do behavioral studies and blood and body fluid tests. What happens when Muse A gets to know Muse B?
Will Muse B convince Muse A that the tests are unethical and get them to let them go? Or will Muse B try to get revenge on Muse A?
Will Muse A realize that Muse B is more human than they previously thought? Or will they maintain a superiority complex with the creature?

I saw my 5 year old neighbor again, and he was trying to convince me that he was Batman. Also, according to him, every piece of grass is actually a really tiny tree that forgot how to be a tree, and flowers are "butterfly-trees."
I fuckin' love little kids, man. Endless entertainment.

Whenever Jasmine ducked away from him, he raised an eyebrow. The Master knew she heard the drums, and the reaction he got was the same as anyone else’s. It amused him, seeing how they all backed away so quickly. If only he could do that same thing..
"Every second of every day." The Time Lord chuckled. "It drives me mad.. they drive me mad. They tell me what to do, and I do it. It’s rather…" he trailed off, thinking of a word. Psychotic? Chaos? He shrugged, letting go of the world and rubbing his forehead. "Sometimes it’s quiet… sometimes it’s loud… but it never goes away. It never seems to want to go away, no matter how much I deny it. Even when I do deny it, they come back and they make sure I don’t deny them again…"
"That... That sucks." What else was she supposed to say? She legitimately felt awful for him, though not quite to the point of pity, but she wasn't that good at comforting someone who didn't even seem too upset. Or, maybe he was upset. It was pretty hard to tell. But constantly being told what to do would be like a nightmare to her, all the worse if it came from inside her own head. "Can't blame you for being crazy if you have to deal with that shit."
"What sorta stuff do they tell you to do?" He's already mentioned killing. Was that all? Just constantly being told to kill? Even though she was a bit creeped out, Jasmine was pretty curious, too.
