FREELANCE WHALES AUTOGRAPHED MANDOLIN Now on Ebay for Toys for Tots

Bio: Freelance Whales is an indie rock band hailing from Queens, New York, consisting of frontman Judah Dadone (lead vocals, banjo, acoustic and electric guitar, synthesizer, bass), and bandmates Nicole Mourelatos a.k.a. Doris Flynn Cellar (bass, harmonium, glockenspiel, synthesizer, vocals), Chuck Criss (banjo, bass, synthesizer, glockenspiel, harmonium, acoustic and electric guitar, vocals), Jacob Hyman (drums, percussion, vocals) and Kevin Read (acoustic and electric guitar, glockenspiel, mandolin, synthesizer, vocals).

What’s up for grabs: This mandolin has been on the road with us for almost two years. Now that its smashed up from our last tour with Foals we autographed it and are putting it here on ebay in hopes that someone will really enjoy having it in their lives.  We are excited to see what it goes for and are even more excited to be donating the money to a good cause.

Any and all bands or musicians are welcome to help out. Even if you can’t play guitar, but own a guitar, we’ll help you sell it and raise some money for the kiddies this winter.

So.. How does this work?

Simple! 

1. List your item on ebay

Make sure paypal is set up to email [email protected]

OR

Sell your item and send a check to us

OR

Sell your item, donate the money to Toys for Tots yourself, and send us a pic so we can brag about you to your grandma at our next bridge meetup

2. Send us a description of:

A. The band name

B. What you're selling (and any significance it has to you or your band)

C. A picture of the item

D. A link to the item's Ebay page

We will then post it, and make a sweet flyer for you to send to all your fans. 

We also recommend making the auction time as long as possible. That way, you will have a good amount of time to make sure all your fans know about it. 

Tweet, post on Facebook, and do whatever you can to help spread the word.
