As for your assignment, I wish for you to recover important documents from Mandalore. Their civilization has toppled recently, and now would prove to an excellent time to recover certain documentations on the governments of the neutral systems. Report back when you have names…"
"Now just wait a second. I need details. You want me to recover files from Mandalore, certain ones may I add, and you don't think it wise to tell me where these documents could be found? I'm not a dog to sniff out your information, chancellor. I need more information or it's no deal."

"I hope you do not expect me to be hospitable."
"Now...Why would I expect that?"
Rush stopped, slowly turning to face the other, lowering the hood to his cloak, “And what of it?” he spat, though young, Darkburst wasn’t afraid of getting violent, give him a blaster and stick him in a room full of Clankers- then you get the idea, “You’ve been paid and you’ve got a job to get to. I forgot to mention that bringing her alive will get you a bonus.”
"You're right. I have been paid. But a total of five-hundred republic credits, compared to what a Jedi might offer for ransom or...to one of my rather malicious clients...Well, I don't think I need to spell it out, do I?"
The blaster was still held in front of him, pointed at the stranger's face. It wasn't a threat to be messed with. Whoever this Jedi was, a dead one could make just about, or even more, as a living one.
Kit sighed, he had been hoping this wouldn’t result to violence. It seemed the Force had other things in mind. No matter.
"And pray tell just what your target is? You have not won yet, bounty hunter."
With a tilt to his head, Bane chuckled, narrowing his eyes as he stepped forwards.
"My target is none of your concern, Jedi. Only mine and my employer's. Now, I'm giving you a choice here. Let me be on my way, or die. I expect you to pick the wisest option."
"Thank you for your cooperation," he replied, standing up from his seat, turning to the door, cloak flapping in the wind that met him as he opened it- the glint of a lightsaber hilt was now apparent.
Eyes narrowed as they caught sight of a lightsaber hilt. So, a Jedi then...or a rival Sith. Either way, the options at hand suddenly disappeared. This was either a trap for his capture, a student looking to impress his teacher, or a Jedi looking for an easy way out.
"Wait," Bane drawled, hand going to his blaster as he stood, walking to stop the stranger. "You forgot something."
The gun raised to the back of the other's head, smirk playing at his lips. "Jedi."
"Well, soon is preferable. You may be payed extra for your haste," He handed over a comlink, "Contact me on this when it’s done."
He took the comlink, examining it briefly before stuffing it away inside one of the pouches he carried. "This Ventress problem will be dealt with soon enough. I thank you for your patronage." Bane tipped his hat towards the stranger to signal the end of the conversation, credits taken by one of his associates.
The Jedi toppled to the ground, having lost his footing. The Nautolan was quick to scramble to his feet. He should have expected this. He took a step back, reaching for his lightsaber. “Are you sure you want to do this?” He said, giving the Bounty Hunter one last chance to come quietly.
He was sure he would have had the upper-hand once the Jedi was knocked down, though to his disappointment, the other stood quickly enough to ruin the rest of his plan. A few mental changes, and a smirk played at the bounty hunter's lips.
"Oh I'm sure, Jedi. Perhaps, with you out the way, I can get to my real target. You'll just be...an added bonus, if you will."
"Right then." Kit was pleasantly surprised the Bounty Hunter wasn’t resisting. He grabbed the cuffs, approaching the Bounty Hunter.
Bane waited for the Jedi to approach him, close enough for him to take a hold of the cuffs, legs sweeping beneath the other in an attempt to knock him off balance. He was unarmed, yes...but that didn't mean he couldn't fight. Besides, there might be price on this Jedi's head...

"Bane." Dooku uttered the name of the feared Bounty Hunter. "What an unexpected surprise to find you still alive…"
"What? You think I can't handle a few Jedi and some metal bars? No cage can hold me, Count. Besides, I'm just as surprised to see you as you are to see me."

"Bounty Hunter." hissed Sidious via the Holonet.
"I have need of your services yet again."
"Of course...You never do like to get your hands dirty, do you? What is it you're after this time? Another Holocron? Someone to be disposed of, perhaps?"
"Then I thank you for your cooperation. Most are not so willing, so to speak. Now, if you’ll follow me..Oh, and I hope you don’t mind, but we’ll have to cuff you, for the time being, of course."
"Of course...It is only to be expected from Jedi. But, do hurry it up. Customers are waiting..."
That was a lot less than he was expecting, “Ok, make sure its done within the week ok? Meet back here for your final payment.”
Handing over the credits was somewhat easier than anticipated, considering that they where all neatly stacked in a small case, probably just big enough to contain a blaster pistol.
He watched cautiously as the stranger gave the credits, one hand on the blaster hanging on his hip. You could never be too careful in his line of work, after all.
"It gets done when it's done. I don't work on your schedule."
"Dantooine most likely, thats the last we know. Some temple in the southern hemisphere. Dead or alive- makes not difference. Now the pay, what’ll it be?"
"Considering how dangerous this Ventress is, my price is doubled. Add in a little extra for ships, weapons, all the works...Two hundred and fifty credits up front, and another two-fifty when it's done."
"You are out-gunned and outnumbered here, Bane. I’m giving you a chance to help the Republic. At least tell me what you’ve been hired to do!"
"No...I don't think I will. It was nice chatting with you, but I'm afraid my target's been spotted. So long, trooper. ...And try your best to catch up."
"Of course you don’t. I meant what’s the job, who hired you? And try to avoid lying, Bane, all I have to do is notify my men of your presence and then your whole career crumbles downhill."
"If you and your men catch me, trooper. And why would I tell you anything? My employer wouldn't enjoy it..."
"I get that. Ok, so. Firstly, Lightsabers, not Jedi. Does the name Ventress ring a bell at all?"
"Of course. I listen to everyone and everything in my domain. Right beneath their noses. Ventress is a skilled opponent, but nothing I can't handle. Now...the rest of the details."
