as promised, the reamining outlines for deep waters.

Despite their earnest attempts to try and help Jeongguk find and return back to his pod, it was proven to be quite difficult. They asked him a multitude of questions; from migration patterns, to hunting grounds, anything they could think of to help them find where his family might’ve gone. But considering Jeongguk was unfamiliar with maps and human directions, he had very vague answers. “Follow the warm waters. Away from the deep darkness.” Whatever that meant.

Standing in the shower, you let the hot water roll down your body as you thought over and over again of Jeongguk’s words. They were so simple and clear, yet you couldn’t think straight about what in the world they meant! Closing your eyes, you splashed some water in your face, you needed to stop stressing about it. At least for right now.

So deep in your thoughts, you didn’t hear the shower curtain be pulled open. A gentle hand on your shoulder partially startled you until you saw it was Yoongi behind you, just as naked as you were. 

“You okay there, pretty?” His voice was soft as he wrapped his arms around you.

“Yeah, just. . . feeling like I’m losing my mind,” you huffed as you leaned back into his embrace.

“Well then.” Yoongi dragged his lips over the shell of your ear. “Why don’t you let me help you lose it a bit more?”

You let out a snort as you turned in his arms. “You’re ridiculous”

“And you love me for it,” he teased as his hands rested on your hips, slowly backing you up against the wall. Already you could feel his hard-on pressing up against your thigh.

“Unfortunately so.”

He chuckled as he brought his lips to yours. You snaked your arms around his shoulders in a poor attempt to bring him closer as he pressed you up against the tile. Yoongi abandoned your mouth to kiss down your jawline, a soft moan escaped your lips as your eyes fluttered shut.

The statues were more humanoid than the others, having more softer features rather than the usual creepy faces one would associate with gargoyles. Apparently the church acquired them a few years ago, scalvaging them from a castle overseas. You’d admit, these ones freaked you out a bit less, but their large demeanor didn’t make them any less terrifying in the dark.

Behind you, the sky was a brilliant burnt orange as the sun began to set. Any moment it would disappear beyond the horizon, leaving you in the dark. Staring up at the first one in the line up, you gathered up your solution and began the process to clean the stone creatures. Holding it’s chin in your hand, you began gently brushing the side of its face. This one always felt a bit temperamental, the positioning of its hand cradling its face like it was the Thinker. Every so often, you found yourself staring at it, admiring the skilled craftsman ship on how they made it look so realistic.

“You know,” you huffed out as you scrubbed down its face to its neck. “If you didn’t have these horns. And this grim look on your face.” You patted its cheek. “You should smile more often,” you chuckled to yourself. 

A deafening crack echoed in your ears. Removing your hand, you noticed a long crack going down the face of the gargoyle.

You were cut off by another loud noise, the crack growing bigger and bigger. Eyes growing wide, you stumble back, falling onto the bushes surrounding the statues. You stared up in horror as the stone continued to fracture all over the gargoyle’s body. With a snap all the stone broke away from it, revealing a man! A large winged blue man! 

Similar noises were heard all along the line of gargoyles, one by one, they all broke free of the granite surrounding them. Above you, the blue man held his hand out for you.

“Are you alright?”

Unable to speak, you rolled around in the bush until you fell out. You had to get out of there. You were seeing things. Maybe you were drugged. Yeah, definitely drugged. The flutter of wings rings in your ears as you scrambled to your feet, until an equally large purple man jumped down in front of you.

“Where are you going?”

she bring them commodities like phones, tv, computers, books, and such to keep them entertained

They don’t really be superheroes bc i'm lazy and this is romance 

They slowly realize that she’s their missing piece and try to court her and she’s like pardon

she doesn’t accept at first but slowly she adjust to them and listen to them and agree

maybe they gargoyles are threatened to be torn down because people are freaked out by them

She does everything she can to keep them there, saying how they’re hundreds of years old and were just brought here, they can’t just tear them down because they think they’re freaky

She wins and saves their lives and they’re grateful
