A side-blog created to fill shipper hearts with happiness one fanfic at a time.(BTS pairing + prompt requests are encouraged!). ASK BOX IS CLOSED. SEMI-HIATUS.
Instead of going to the heavily crowded and mediocre Starbucks at the university’s student center, Taehyung had recently begun going to a rather quaint little coffee shop buried inside the arts school, and he’s a little proud that he’s one of only a handful of students who seem to know or acknowledge that shop’s existence.
One day, Taehyung drags Jimin there as a surprise, claiming that the “new” place will not disappoint him at all, and Jimin can’t help but laugh at Taehyung’s blatant excitement, if his speed walking (with an extra bounce in his step) and iron grip on his wrist was any indication.
But once they get closer to the coffee shop, Jimin secretly recognizes that place because he goes there almost every other day after his dance class, but he doesn’t say a word and instead gladly decides that solo trips to his favorite on-campus coffee shop can be sacrificed for trips with his favorite human being.
“I still can’t believe you’re a part of my team,” Seokjin says during a one-on-one practice with Namjoon, who flashes a cheeky grin at Seokjin before the older spikes the volleyball with extra force in hopes that it hits his teammate’s face in one way or another.
“You should feel graced by my presence because, after all, I did beat you in the past,” Namjoon replies, diving and successfully passing back the volleyball to Seokjin, who, for a very split second, is impressed by Namjoon’s quick reaction but will take that thought with him to the grave because he will never give the younger the satisfaction of getting a compliment.
Instead, Seokjin flashes the finger to Namjoon and smiles in content when it stuns Namjoon long enough for the latter to miss the ball when Seokjin spikes it the second time around.
I’m still on a semi-hiatus, so instead of writing my usual length fics, I wanted to try this out and challenge myself to giving the feels in as few sentences as possible lmao.
Hi, I really love your writing! Could you write a yoonseok bittersweet reincarnation au? Thank you so much!!! :D
When Hoseok meets Yoongi for the first time, it doesn’t feellike the first time.
Hoseok doesn’t know what it is about Yoongi that makes himfeel like he’s known him for years rather than minutes and feel as if he’ssubconsciously been waiting for this moment—for them to cross paths—all his life.
There’s an unsettling feeling in the pit of Hoseok’s stomachewhen Yoongi asks, “What’s your name?”
“I’m Hoseok,” the younger replies, knowing that the sudden disappointmentfrom Yoongi not knowing his name is very irrational. It’s their first timemeeting, after all.
Yoongi repeats the name and smiles.
“Nice meeting you, Hoseok,” Yoongi says. “I’ll see youaround campus!”
Hoseok feels the need to say something before Yoongi leaves,to ask if the other also feels as if they’ve met each other in the past, butthe words get stuck on the back of his throat and he resorts to simply saying,
“Alright.”
Hoseok and Yoongi frequently see each other in-betweenclasses, and they end up going out for lunch together almost every other daydue to their almost similar schedules. And as a result, the two of them havegotten to know each other better.
Hoseok decides that he really admires Yoongi and, amongother things, he finds it really cool that the older is building a future thatrevolves around music.
“I think you’re going to make it big,” Hoseok says afterYoongi tells him about some of the projects that he’s working on.
Yoongi laughs and shakes his head.
“That’s a bit of a reach,” Yoongi says, but Hoseok doesn’tthink so. He jokingly shushes the older, who laughs once again.
“Have you ever thought about sending some of your songs to arecord label?” Hoseok then asks before biting onto his burger. “Maybe one day you’ll become a producer forsome of the biggest names in the industry.”
“For someone who’s known me for less than two weeks, youhave so much faith in me,” Yoongi replies, slightly amused.
“I just have this feeling that you’re going to be reallysuccessful,” Hoseok says, and he continues to have a strong feeling that they’vebeen in this situation before.
He’d call it déjà vu, but he’s almost certain that déjà vuisn’t supposed to last this long.
“Thanks, I guess,” Yoongi says, and this time there’s a hintof pink on his cheeks.
When he sees this, Hoseok’s heart swells up with an emotionthat he thinks is too early to have with someone he’s virtually just met.
Love.
Weeks become months and small talk becomes speaking in confidence, and Hoseok is well aware that he’s fallen a little too hard for his friend.
But he keeps these feelings to himself because Yoongi’s fallenin love as well.
He’s fallen in love with Park Jimin, an underclassman whosetalents are beyond belief, a boy who shares the same passion in music with Yoongiand a person who seems to always have an unwavering smile on his face.
Hoseok is more happy for Yoongi than not, but there’s asmall part of him that has such certainty that things aren’t supposed to bethis way. Hoseok doesn’t know how things are supposed to be, but something justdoesn’t seem to sit well with him.
“Hey,” Yoongi says one day, taking a seat next to Hoseok inthe lecture hall. “Jimin’s inviting us to go cliff-diving with a few of hisfriends this weekend, wanna join?”
Hoseok scrunches his eyebrows in confusion.
“Don’t you have a fear of heights?”
Yoongi raises his eyebrows, and Hoseok feels like he’s saidsomething wrong.
“How do you know?” Yoongi asks, clearly puzzled. “I’ve nevertold anyone that.”
“I think you’ve told me,” Hoseok uncertainly replies, notknowing what else to say, and Yoongi doesn’t look too convinced.
“Weird,” the older simply says. “And yes, I have a fear ofheights, but I should try facing that fear this weekend.”
“Gotta impress the boyfriend?” Hoseok teases.
Yoongi rolls his eyes despite the small smile on his face.Hoseok takes that as a yes.
When the weekend rolls around and everyone is standing bythe cliff, Hoseok suddenly has a bad feeling about all of this. However, hetries to get rid of that feeling because cliff-diving is exciting, and he’s allfor feeling the adrenaline rush of that activity.
“So are you going to jump?” Hoseok asks Yoongi when he seesthat Jimin is talking with his other friends.
Yoongi looks down at the water, where a few people havealready jumped down to, and hesitates. “Should I?”
“I think you should,” Hoseok replies, showing a thumbs up. “Livea little, you know?”
It takes a few more motivational and reassuring commentsfrom Hoseok before Yoongi lets out a sigh then nods.
“Fine, I’ll do it.”
“Wanna be cute by holding hands and jumping together?”Hoseok asks, half-jokingly.
“Gross,” Yoongi says in faux disgust and Hoseok chuckles. “I’llgo after you.”
“Fine,” Hoseok says in defeat. “Count me down, okay?”
Yoongi nods.
“3…”
Hoseok steps closer to the edge of the cliff.
“2…”
He takes a deep breathe.
“… 1”
And he jumps.
.
.
.
Yoongi feels like he was supposed to jump with Hoseok thatone day many years ago.
He feels like he was supposed to face his fear of heightswith the comfort of Hoseok’s hand holding his, and he feels like he was meantto feel the adrenaline that Hoseok kept raving about days before that moment.
Yoongi continues to wonder how Hoseok knew that he wasafraid of heights or how Hoseok knew that Yoongi was going to make it in the musicindustry.
“You ready to go?”
Yoongi nods and stands up, taking a hold of Jimin’s hand.
And when he looks down at the engraved stone in front of himone last time, Yoongi knows that he won’t stop wondering anytime soon.
a/n: Thanks for sending in this prompt! I’m kind of really satisfied with how this turned out by the end of it omg.
can you actually scratch my last request, can you do a yoonmin fic where jimin isnt eating right and yoongi gets mad and worried :0
“Jimin, why aren’t you eating?”
Jimin gives a reason that goes along the lines of not beinghungry, but the exact response goes in one ear and out the next for Yoongibecause the latter doesn’t believe a word that the younger says. Not a singleword.
But Yoongi doesn’t argue against Jimin because it’s been along day filled with back-to-back schedules and the last thing anyone in the groupreally wants is conflict. Instead, Yoongi sighs and proceeds to eat his dinnernext to the younger, who settles for simply drinking water.
Later that night, Yoongi feels terrible.
He feels terrible when he sees Jimin inside the kitchen hesitatingto pick up the container of leftover dinner that is inside the fridge. And hefeels especially terrible when he sees Jimin shake his head and close therefrigerator.
When Jimin picks up a water bottle, Yoongi speaks up beforehe even realizes it.
“Put the water down, and have an actual meal.”
Jimin flinches at thesound of Yoongi’s voice, probably thinking that he was alone in the room, andturns to look at the older boy.
Jimin waves his hands, as if saying there’s amisunderstanding.
“Oh, I’m not hungry, though—“
“Cut the crap, Jimin,” Yoongi suddenly snaps.
But then he immediately gets mad at himself because whatright does he have to be exasperated with someone who’s evidently going througha tough time? Yoongi’s never been in Jimin’s shoes and has never felt pressureabout body image at the same extent as the younger, so really, what right doeshe have?
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to sound like a bitch,” Yoongi immediatelysays right after. “I’m just worried.”
“There’s nothing to worry about, hyung,” Jimin replies, giving the fakest smile Yoongi has ever seen, which adds a weight in the older’sheart that he doesn’t like the feeling of one bit. “I’m fine.”
Yoongi stays quiet as he makes his way over to the fridgeand takes out the containers of leftovers and some side dishes. He may not be agreat chef, but he’s pretty great at microwaving stuff, so.
“Take a seat,” Yoongi says, and Jimin complies.
When Yoongi finishes microwaving the food, he serves it toJimin, who looks down at the food, and Yoongi knows that a million and onethoughts are running through the younger’s mind.
“You know, you don’t always have to put up a happy frontaround us,” Yoongi softly says, and he’s more than aware that it’s out ofcharacter for him to sound so serious yet so sincere.
And Jimin seems to think that, too, because he begins tolook like he’s resisting a laugh (albeit a weak one), which only causes Yoongito laugh.
“I know, I know,” Yoongi says. “Some things are just weirdwhen it’s coming from my mouth, but the statement still stands true.”
Jimin looks at Yoongi with a timid smile before his eyesbegin to gloss with tears.
“Hyung, I don’t know what to do,” the younger admits andstarts crying the moment Yoongi pulls him for a hug. “I just know that I wantto make our fans happy with my image.”
“I know you do,” Yoongi replies, “but you can’t—you shouldn’t have to—neglect eating rightin order to achieve that.”
Jimin’s tears slowly start to drench Yoongi’s shirt, but theolder doesn’t seem to mind and instead hugs the younger much tighter. That’sone of the things Jimin does when another member is sad, and Yoongi figuresthat if hugging him has the same effect that Jimin has on others, then itshould lift up his mood even by the tiniest bit.
“This will sound selfish, and I know you hate selfish, butsometimes you have to put your happiness and your health, before everythingelse,” Yoongi says, pulling away from the hug to raise a pinky. “Can youpromise me that?”
Jimin shakes his head, which momentarily catches Yoongi offguard.
“I can’t promise that,” Jimin mumbles,. “But I can promiseyou that I’ll try my hardest to do that.”
That’s when Yoongi is reminded of how amazing, inspiring, andcapable Jimin is because the younger knows that success doesn’t come in theblink of an eye. Success isn’t always jumping head first, but rather takingbaby steps.
And that’s exactly what Jimin is doing with his promise.
They hook their pinkies with each other, and Yoongi smilesso wide that Jimin actually gets a bit uncomfortable (though jokingly).
“You’re scary when you’re happy.”
“I’m just proud of you, you loser.”
a/n: Thanks for sending in this prompt! My summer’s getting a bit busier especially with my first year of college approaching, so I’m very sorry for the slow updates. Hope you enjoyed this story! ♡
Namjin Sleeping Beauty Au Jin As Aurora and Namjoon as The Prince Pls
“So all I have to do is kiss him, and he’ll wake up?”
Prince Namjoon skeptically looks at the four fairies infront of him, who frantically nod their heads. One of the fairies, whose nameNamjoon believes is Taehyung, nods so rapidly that his pointed light green hatfalls off of his head.
“Yeah, if you truly believe that you’re the love of PrinceSeokjin’s life, then your kiss will end this curse!” Hoseok excitedly says.
Jimin and Jungkook fly around in a small circle as theyrelease wistful sighs.
“Isn’t that just romantic?” Jimin dreamily says.
“This sounds like another silly fairytale,” Prince Namjoondeadpans before walking away from the four rather tiny fairies, who don’t wastea second in chasing (or in this case, flying) after him. “How can I be the loveof his life if I barely even knew him when he was awake?”
“Don’t say that,” Hoseok replies, flying backwards as hefaces the Prince. “You two were childhood sweethearts!”
Prince Namjoon shakes his head.
“The only thing I remember about Seokjin is that our parentshad us have play dates when we were in diapers,” he says, “and I don’t thinkthat’s enough for us to be considered soulmates or whatever.”
“How about you come over to the castle tomorrow and try itout?” Jimin asks, and that’s when Prince Namjoon realizes that said fairy issitting on his shoulder, which makes him silently wonder if flying is a hassle.“It won’t hurt to try!”
Prince Namjoon sighs at the suggestion but nodsnevertheless.
“Alright, but don’t expect much to happen, okay?”
“Whatever you say,” Jungkook hums, sounding as if he knowssomething that Prince Namjoon doesn’t, which leaves the latter slightly uneasy.
Later that evening, Prince Namjoon gets kidnapped.
“How do I get myself in these kinds of situations?” he asks, mostly to himself.
“You’re a prince, what do you expect?” Yoongi, who Namjoon figuresis the villain to this unraveling story otherwise known as his life, says as hetightens the rope tied around the Prince’s wrists.
“So why are you kidnapping me?” Namjoon asks, not eventrying to fight the other because he’s simply done with the day. First, he hadbeen approached by fairies (who he, quite frankly, didn’t know even existed),and now he is being taken to god-knows-where by a stranger. What is this? The Sleeping Beauty?
“Because you’re in love with Jin, and I’m guessing that bynow you already know that he’s also Prince Seokjin,” Yoongi explains, and PrinceNamjoon widens his eyes in shock. Yoongi sees Namjoon’s expression and raisesan eyebrow. “Right?”
Namjoon slowly shakes his head. Maybe that’s what Jungkookknew that he didn’t.
“Ah, damn it,” Yoongi says. “But yes, that is why I’mkidnapping you. Because you have the power to wake up the annoying prick.”
And this time, Namjoon doesn’t think otherwise because whilehe’s not very fond of Prince Seokjin, he’s more than familiar with Jin, thebeautiful stranger that he had fallen in love with at first encounter less thana year ago.
Jin, the beautiful stranger who had some bomb-ass vocals, had an amazing personality, and had the skills to cook a delicious meal.
Just thinking about Jin makes Namjoon feel some type ofgiddy way.
And Yoongi seems to have noticed this because soon he is rollinghis eyes and pulling Namjoon to the lair much quicker.
“Love makes people so fucking weird,” Yoongi says under hisbreath as he begins to unlock the door to the room.
“Says the guy with horns on his head,” Namjoon replies afterhe’s calmed down from the high of thinking about Prince Seokjin. Yoongi gaspsand opens the door to the room before shoving the Prince inside and chainingthe ropes on Namjoon’s hands to a hook on one of the walls.
“Sorry you can’t handle my dragon swag,” Yoongi says beforelaughing and adding, “at least I won’t be locked in a room to rot and die, loser!”
With that said, Yoongi storms out of the room and locks thedoor behind him.
Once Namjoon reaches his third day of being stuck in thelair, it starts to dawn upon him that Yoongi isn’t actually exaggerating whenhe says that he’s going to rot and die in that same room. But before he can goon full, hardcore panic mode, he hears someone knock on the iron bars by thewindow.
“Psst, Prince Namjoon,” Taehyung whispers, and Namjoon’s notentirely sure why because no one can actually really hear the tiny fairy, especially high up in the isolated area of a castle. “Let’s get you out ofhere.”
Soon iron bars are broken and ropes are untied as Taehyungand the other three fairies join in freeing Namjoon, who is surprised when hisweight is able to be carried by the tiny creatures.
As they fly out the window, Prince Namjoon asks, “When isPrince Seokjin’s birthday?”
“It’s actually today,” Hoseok says, and Namjoon notices thatsaid fairy seems more anxious today than ever before. “We have to get you tothe Prince before sunset or else he’s dead!”
“Literally dead!” Taehyung squeaks.
And just like that Namjoon’s worry builds up tenfold, but itsoon subsides because in just a few minutes, they reach the chamber that PrinceSeokjin is in.
The frantic feeling that Namjoon and the fairies had justseconds ago are exchanged for solemnity as they see Prince Seokjin peacefullysleeping on the bed with a rose in his hand. Namjoon’s heart speeds up at thesight of the person he had almost been sure that he was never going to seeagain.
“He’s so beautiful,” Namjoon says in awe.
“Yeah, yeah,” Jungkook says, pushing Namjoon closer to thebed. “Now work your magic.”
When Prince Namjoon is face-to-face with Prince Seokjin, hehesitates before kissing him on the lips.
A few seconds pass, and Namjoon feels his heart sink whenSeokjin’s eyes do not open. He turns to the fairies, who look just as surprisedas Namjoon.
“Maybe you should try it again?” Jimin says, not wanting tobelieve that Namjoon isn’t the true love.
“I don’t know,” Namjoon says, looking back down at Seokjin. “MaybeI’m not the one.”
But even so, he tries one more time for safety measures andis caught off guard when he feels a pair of hands reach up to his jaw and apair of lips return the kiss.
When Namjoon pulls away, he sees that Prince Seokjin haswoken up with skin glowing more than ever before. They stare at each other fora few seconds before the two of them incredulously laugh.
“I guess this means you’re my true love,” Seokjin smiles, and Namjoon laughs.
“I guess so, too,” he replies before asking, “Why didn’t youwake up the first time?”
“Because I wanted you to kiss me again,” Seokjin says, as ifthe answer is obvious, and Namjoon’s cheeks flush.
“You’re weird,” Namjoon chuckles, and Seokjin laughs.
“The fact that I’ve been asleep for almost a year is weird.
”Touché,”Namjoon muses before smiling and kissing Seokjin once more.
“Is this when we say‘And they lived happily ever after?’” Taehyung asks the three fairies.
Jimin raises an eyebrow.
“What do you think this is? A fairytale?”

Vmin where jimin is having trouble finding taehyung a birthday present but in the end he gets him a puppy and taehyung is so happy he starts to cry
If Jimin had the ability to give himself a prestigious award,it would definitely be Worst BoyfriendEver.
There’s a good chance he’s exaggerating about his strengthas a boyfriend (or lack thereof), but Jimin still thinks he’s terrible for nothaving even the littlest clue of what to get for Taehyung’s birthday exactly a weekfrom now. His birthday! The day he was born! The day that he was welcomed tothe world! The day that the heavens opened up and said, “Damn, that 3-month oldkid named Park Jimin deserves to be graced with the presence of a baby namedKim Taehyung—“
Anyway.
Jimin spent over three hours walking inside the mall, whichdoesn’t seem life-threateningly long but is actually the longest thing ever forsomeone who only spends an hour at a mall at most, especially during the chaoticholiday shopping season. In fact, Jimin’s lack of fondness for the mall hascaused him to get lost in the giant shopping area twice.
And he swears he’s on the verge of losing his mind.
“If you haven’t already, that is,” Yoongi replies, casuallyfeasting on some chili fries as the two of them walk around the mall one lasttime.
Jimin can’t even find it in himself to give an equallysnarky response to Yoongi, who he had called for some help but ended up gettingnothing beneficial from his presence.
“Do you think he’d like an Alpacasso?” Jimin asks, and thedesperation in his voice is more than evident.
Yoongi laughs.
“Doesn’t he have, like, four of them already?”
Damn it.
Taehyung does.
“How about new clothes?”
“What the fuck? Don’t be basic to your boyfriend.”
“Ah!” Jimin suddenly exclaims as an invisible lightbulb popsup above his head. “How about a roundtrip ticket to Japan?”
Yoongi’s eyes widen in surprise.
“Jimin, that would be so legit!” He raves. “Do it!”
Jimin starts to get excited because Taehyung always swoonsand sighs about travelling there even though he’s been there plenty of timesalready because there’s simply too many things to do and to see there.
But then the image of Jimin’s empty wallet surfaces in theboy’s mind, and he realizes that a Japan trip is way, way, way out of reach at the moment. And when Jimin tells Yoongi that, the older smacks him on the back of the head, eliciting a pained hiss inresponse.
Just as Jimin is about to list several more gift ideas, hiseyes fall on a pet store worker who is putting up a small chalkboard by thewindow that says “Share the Gift of Giving: Adopt a Puppy for Free This HolidaySeason” written on it in beautiful typography.
And that’s all it takes before Jimin starts walking to thestore’s direction.
“I know what I’m getting Taehyung.”
Yoongi appears rather dumbfounded, but he follows Jimin intothe store until the same worker that Jimin was looking at tells him, “Sorry, sir, you can’t bring in those chili fries.”
“Whatever. I didn’t want to go in anyway,” Yoongi disgruntledlysays, turning around to sit on the bench nearby.
December 30.
Taehyung’s birthday is spent with just a few of his closestfriends, and they all go out to eat as well as have fun at a karaoke bar.
“Hey, you should open up your gifts!” Jungkook excitedlysays after all the guys have had their first turn with the karaoke.
“Oh, I should, huh?”
One by one, all the guys in the room present their gifts toTaehyung, who thanks each and every one of them for what they’ve given him.Jimin’s arm stays wrapped around Taehyung’s shoulder, and he can’t help but feelhis heart race at the sight of the younger’s sparkling eyes and equallysparkling smile.
“Yah, where’s your gift?” Taehyung faux accusingly asksJimin, who shrugs.
“Did I even getyou a gift?” Jimin asks with a tone of ambiguity, and Taehyung pouts. “Justkidding, I’ve got a wonderful gift for you at my place.”
“What? Your virginity?” Hoseok teasingly asks, raising aneyebrow.
Taehyung’s eyes slightly widen at that comment.
Jimin pinches the bridge of his nose.
“Hyung, no,” he says, and Hoseok laughs.
“Sure sounds like it, though,” he replies, and Taehyungthrows a crumpled gift tissue at him.
“Nasty,” the boy says.
Eventually the evening with friends comes to an end, andthey all go separate ways except for Jimin and Taehyung.
They take their time walking back to Jimin’s apartment, which is only two blocks away, and swing their hands back and forth as theytalk to one another.
“Can I at least have a hint?”
“Nope.”
“Please?”
“Nope.”
Taehyung pouts, and Jimin shakes his head, laughing.
“You can’t faze me tonight,” the older says.
“You suck,” Taehyung replies. “What if I tell you I alreadyhate your gift?”
“Then I’ll gladly keep it for myself,” Jimin sticks histongue out.
“Wait, no, if that’s the case then I still want the gift,”Taehyung says, and the older laughs.
When they get to Jimin’s doorstep, Taehyung is left ratherconfused when Jimin tells him to wait outside.
“Why?” Taehyung asks before jokingly asking, “Is your giftgoing to attack me or something?”
“Well….”
“Yah!” Taehyung exclaims.
“Kidding, I’m kidding,” Jimin says, raising his hands as ifto tell him to calm down. He then kisses Taehyung’s cheek. “I’ll be back veryquickly.”
And Jimin stays true to his word because soon he is backoutside on the doorstep and telling Taehyung to close his eyes, which theyounger obediently does.
“Put your hands out,” Jimin says before placing the gift onthe palm of Taehyung’s hands. “Open your eyes.”
“This gift is so furry, and I swear I felt it move—oh my god.”
On Taehyung’s hands is a tiny little Maltese-Yorkie with atiny little Santa hat on its head.
“Oh my god,” Taehyung says, stunned, watching the preciouscreature lick his finger. “It’s a puppy, oh my god.”
“The puppy’s got all its required vaccinations and stuff soyou don’t have to worry about that,” Jiimin asks with a small smile.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” Taehyung says, and Jiminthinks he heard a slight crack in his voice, which is soon proven true when hesees Taehyung’s eyes glossing with tears.
“Oh no, don’t cry,” Jimin immediately says, pulling Taehyungfor a hug (and making sure he doesn’t crush the frail puppy while he’s at it)before jokingly adding, “I didn’t know you hated it that much.”
“Shut up, I love it!” Taehyung cries, and Jimin laughsbefore wiping away the other’s tears and kissing him on the forehead.
“Happy Birthday.”

Part two to 'Attractive Roommates and No Refunds' please!
Title: Attractive Roommates and Still No Refunds
(first part can be found here)
It’s been almost a year since Hoseok andTaehyung started dating, and one would think that Taehyung no longer spits outhis cereal upon seeing Hoseok casually walk around the apartment shirtlessbecause it’s not a big deal, right?
Wrong.
Taehyung still catches himself in a coughingfit, and Hoseok still pokes fun at him for it.
“I swear you’re doing it just to kill me now,”Taehyung says, using the back of his hand to wipe the milk that had escaped tothe corner of his lips, and Hoseok laughs.
“Maybe I am.”
He walks by the other, who is sitting on thesofa, and plants a chaste good morning kiss on Taehyung’s cheek beforeproceeding to the kitchen.
“You see, I could’ve pulled you back so thatI can return the kiss, but alas, you don’t have a shirt that I can tug on,”Taehyung says in faux disappointment. “What a pity.”
“You can always tug on the waistband of myboxers,” Hoseok suggestively and lightheartedly replies, specially turningaround to watch Taehyung’s cheeks turn tomato red. “I would’ve gone back to youin a flash.”
As the months have gone by, Hoseok’sflirtatious side had only revealed itself more and more and continues to leaveTaehyung flustered as hell.
Taehyung responds with an incoherent whine, always at a loss of what to say whenever Hoseok throws random innuendos andsuggestive remarks.
“Right back at you,” Hoseok amusedly respondsin reference to the sound that just came out of Taehyung’s mouth.
Another habit that Taehyung hasn’t quiteshaken off yet is watching Hoseok prepare food in the kitchen. Even from hisposition in the living room he can see the dips and curves of Hoseok’s tonedback, and such sight never fails to make Taehyung want to poke his eye so manytimes until it falls out.
“How can someone be so attractive?” Taehyungmumbles in awe.
“Did you say something?” Hoseok asks.
“You’re ugly, and I hate you.”
“Mmm, just the words I wanted to hear,”Hoseok sarcastically remarks, and Taehyung laughs.
Hoseok ends up settling for a rather largebowl of cereal and milk and goes to sit next to Taehyung on the sofa. Theyounger changes his position and rests his head on Hoseok’s lap before watchingthe other eat.
“You want some?” Hoseok asks, alreadypreparing a scoop of cereal for Taehyung, who had just finished his ownbreakfast minutes ago.
“No, thanks,” Taehyung replies, only tochange his mind and say, “Wait yeah.”
Hoseok chuckles and feeds Taehyung, whobriefly sits up to chew and swallow before making himself comfortable on Hoseok’slap again.
“Taehyung-ah,”Hoseok calls after a few minutes in silence and puts the now empty bowl ofcereal down on the coffee table.
“Hm?” Taehyung hums, turning his attentionaway from the television to look up at the older.
“You’re beautiful.”
The sincerity and seriousness in his voicecatches Taehyung very off guard, but it also causes his cheeks to warm up as ifthe sun was literally shoved on his face or something.
“What?” Taehyung asks, stunned.
Hoseok chuckles.
“You’re beautiful,” he gladly repeats, andTaehyung sits up, feeling a bit cynical.
“What do you want?” He asks in asemi-accusatory tone.
Hoseok raises his hands up as if insurrender. “Nothing, it’s just that you look so cute right now, just loungingaround and stuff.”
Taehyung’s eyebrows scrunch in confusion.
“I am a potato next to you,” Taehyung says ina matter-of-factly way.
“Yah, don’t say that,” Hoseok replies, slightly nudging the younger, who had sat up. “You’re way more beautiful thanyou give yourself credit for.”
Hearing that makes Taehyung wonder what hedid in his past life that allowed him to meet such a wonderful person likeHoseok in this life. He can’t help but smile shyly at the comment, to whichHoseok coos over.
“See what I mean? Like you don’t even have totry,” the older says, and Taehyung lightheartedly pushes the guy’s smiling facewith the palm of his hands before kissing him on the lips.
“You’re so greasy and cheesy,” Taehyungreplies. “But nevertheless, thanks for the small boost of confidence.”
“I may be greasy and cheesy,” he says with asmirk, wrapping an arm around the younger, “but the no refund still stands.”
Taehyung laughs.
“An I’m perfectly fine with that.”
a/n: Thanks for sending in this prompt! Attractive Roommates and No Refunds was one of my favorite fics to write tbh lol ♡
Normally he would be the one to wake up late on a Saturdaymorning and be welcomed with the smell of breakfast voluntarily made by Seokjinthe food enthusiast.
But here he was, awake and conscious of his surroundings, which included Seokjin sleeping very peacefully next to him. And Namjoonhonestly had to do a double-take when he looked at Seokjin because the olderlooked so unreal and so ethereal even with his eyes closed.
“Do I look like that when I sleep, too?” Namjoon accidentallythought out loud before panicking when Seokjin slightly stirred. The youngerwould hate to be the one to disturb Seokjin from his beauty rest.
Once his daze and grogginess was completely gone, Namjoonfigured that he might as well make some breakfast for the two of them, whichwas the least he can do for all the times Seokjin did that for him.
But once Namjoon reached the kitchen, he realized something.
He didn’t exactly know how to cook.
This made him wonder how he went through life before Seokjincame along, and it dawned on him that before Seokjin, Namjoon was in college, simply feasting on campus meal plans and instant ramen.
In short, Kim Seokjin was a life saver.
Namjoon rummaged through the refrigerator and kitchencabinets, trying to see if he can make something simple but neverthelessdelicious.
The gods seemed to be on his side because soon he found somebacon, eggs, milk, and instant pancake batter, a.k.a the most basic American breakfast. He also found some potatoes and briefly flirted with the idea of makingdiner-style hash browns, but Namjoon got rid of that idea because he wanted tocook something for Seokjin, not to burn down the house.
Soon Namjoon begancooking and was actually very surprised that things were going well.
But then he thought of something and soon paused from whathe was doing to play his mp3 on the speakers nearby.
Once “Big Poppa” by The Notorious B.I.G began filling theair, Namjoon hummed in content.
“That’s more like it,” Namjoon said to himself as heproceeded with his cooking.
More or less half an hour later, Namjoon finished making thebreakfast and started to transfer the food onto plates on the dining table. And just to make sure he didn’t fuck up,Namjoon tasted a piece of the bacon and scrambled eggs for himself and almostcried in happiness because the food was actually edible.
Namjoon was washing the used pots and pans and nodding hishead to the music (at that moment it was “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio) when Seokjin walked into the kitchen and madehis presence known by saying,
“The smell of breakfast and the sound of ‘90s hip-hop,” theolder said in amusement. “This just screams you.”
Namjoon chuckled, leaning back as Seokjin gave him a brief backhug.
“Good morning to you, too,” the younger replied, and Seokjinsoftly laughed, giving the greeting he forgot to give beforehand.
“I can’t believe you cooked all this,” Seokjin said asNamjoon finished up washing the dishes.
“I can’t believe it either,” Namjoon responded.
“I mean I guess it isn’t too much of a surprise because youlearned from the best, a.k.a me… I am the best,” Seokjin cheekily but jokinglysaid.
“Sure, okay,” the younger laughed.
Seokjin took a seat as Namjoon began serving food for theboth of them.
When Namjoon settled down on his seat, Seokjin took hisfirst bite of the pancake, then the eggs, then the bacon.
Namjoon silently watched him in anticipation, and Seokjinseemed to know that the younger was waiting for a verbal response because soonhe laughed and continued eating.
“Yah! How is it?” Namjoon asked. Never before had he felt sodesperate for a response, honestly.
Seokjin shrugged, purely teasing the other.
“Tell me!”
Seokjin laughed at the younger’s behavior before caving inand saying, “It’s delicious.”
Namjoon bumped his fist in the air out of pure happiness.
“Yes! I didn’t embarrass myself!” Namjoon cheered.
Just as Namjoon said that, the music genre of the songsplaying through the speakers took a huge jump as “Material Girl” by Madonnastarted playing.
Who cooks: They like to crash and burn the kitchen together (and actually end up making something edible while they’re at it)
Who does the laundry and other chores: Hoseok loves doing the laundry for some unknown reason, and what kind of person would Taehyung be if he took such source of happiness away from someone by doing the laundry himself? For most other chores, they alternate each day. And for cleaning the bathroom, they do it together because if one suffers, the other suffers as well lol
How many children do they have: none, but maybe one in the far future, when they settle down from their high of being in their adventurous 20s
Who’s more dominate: Hoseok
Favorite nonsexual activity: Going on food adventures every weekend!
Their favorite place to be together: Inside the fort they make out of blankets and pillows on Friday evenings
Any traditions: On Wednesdays they do, in fact, wear pink
Their “song”: "Perfect Two” by Auburn (which is so cheesy that it makes their friends cringe so hard they get a whiplash)
What they do for each other on holidays: Taehyung obnoxiously sings Christmas songs to Hoseok starting a week before the actual holiday, and Hoseok obnoxiously sings Christmas songs to Taehyung starting the day of until New Years
Where did they go for their honeymoon: Island hopping in Hawaii!
Where did they first meet: In line at a convenience store where Hoseok was buying cereal and Taehyung was buying milk and they saw each other and were like aaayyyy lmao
What do they fight over: Who gets the last piece of dumpling during dinner lol
Do they go on vacations, if so where: They like to go on cruises
