Father's Day Picks

Father's Day is this weekend (Sunday June 15th), so we hand picked some of our favourite in stock items for your Dad.  It's always nice to buy yourself a present, while your shopping for someone else.

One Guy, Three Looks

This past week, the rooster.ca blogger Maygen Kardash stopped by Banjo to share 3 different looks and this is what we came up with.

Best Dressed Men at the Oscars

Who watched the Oscars last night? Ok, we have to admit. We didn't- but only because we were traveling.  But we caught up on all the red carpet looks, checked out the award winners lists, and watched some clips of the show. So, we feel competent enough to make a few judgments on the best dressed dudes of the night.  We were so impressed with the guys last night. They really turned up the fashion and this makes us happy.  Especially stoked on all the bow ties that made their way onto the red carpet.  It was hard to pick our top 3 but here is how we narrowed it down:

3. Coming in in third place- Zac Efron. Ok we have to admit, he probably isn't an amazing actor (can't think of anything he's stared in, offhand), but he always looks great.  Loving the skinny black tie he is rockin.  He is wearing a Calvin Klien tux.

2. Brad Pitt took the silver medal. He almost got the gold. Man, he's lookin good these days.  Better with age.  Everyone was loving his new do also.  He was workin Tom Ford last night.

1. And finally, Leonardo DiCaprio for the win.  We were SO disappointed our favorite actor and picture of the year (Wolf of Wallstreet) didn't take home the awards.  Cheated!  Luckily, Leo won our best dressed award (if it's any consolation, ha).  He was wearing Giorgio Armani.

Spring Zanerobe

Our first shipments of Spring 2014 Zanerobe stock have arrived at BANJO. We are so stoked to see all of the fresh prints, colors, and designs, but are also pleased to welcome back the consistently good fits and quality of the line.  We have been carrying Zanerobe for several seasons now, and are proud to be the first store to bring it to Saskatoon.  Although our weather may not support wearing our new spring stock yet, grab it up quick- before it's gone.
