Gift cards
I’ve never really understood the appeal of them. “Surprise! I got you some money! That I had to pay a dollar extra for just so you have to spend it at this specific place!”
Don’t get me wrong I’m always grateful whenever I receive one, I just don’t understand the appeal of why a gift card instead of actual money.
Why are we playing extra money to limit people on where they spend their birthday or Christmas money on??
If you’re wondering what started this thought process, my parents got my teacher a gift card as a thank you for tutoring me. As I was looking at the card for Amazon on the table, my brain started whirling into this word blob.
