Regardless of what you think of Fatal Frame V it is crucial we get more than 46,099 units sold when it releases sometime this year.

I know Operation Zero was originally for localization, but this may be our last chance to get Tecmo to see we’re still here. If we can get more than 46,099 units sold… Maybe even 100,000 units — then this series could be revived. We can’t let Fatal Frame become Silent Hill, Tecmo is already Pachinko’ing it.

Just think, if Fatal Frame 5 sells well we could get Fatal Frame 6, ports to modern consoles, more games on steam, Fatal Frame 4, and even a remaster for 1-3.

It’s a small chance and I have no way of knowing for sure that buying this game will lead to a brighter future for the series… Still, I don’t want to sit around and watch one of my favorite series die without doing anything about it.

We can do this, but only if we come together as fans! We have MORE options now.

The game is releasing on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox X, and Steam.

I know that this isn’t the best game in the series and a lot of people disliked it, but remember if we support it, we can be the pillar to raise the series back.

Buying on launch day is what will have the biggest impact/most support, and it’s okay if you can’t buy day one. Just buying it at all will help.

The Wild Area

Imagine while you’re walking in the Wild Area, a Pokémon runs at you. You can’t get away, it’s too late.

The battle begins. You press the button to run away but like a gun with no bullets, all you hear is an empty click and the sensation that you’re fucked.

Before you floats a level 20 Ribombee, despite its overwhelming cuteness you know to take caution, after all you’re only just starting out.

You have 3 Pokémon.

Your starter that you’ve managed to get to level 10, a flying type that’s level 5 and a bug type you caught recently that’s level 2.

You’re fucked. Absolutely fucked. The Pokémon uses a fairy type move, it one shots your starter. You picked the less weak of your Pokémon, it’s gone. One hit.

You have one Pokémon, but before sending it to it’s doom... you press run away again and again. Sweat drips from your brow as you know if it doesn’t work you’ll have to stay in the fight you can’t win.

Ribombee unleashes it’s weakest attack and that’s it. You’ve been defeated. You black out and awaken at a nearest Pokémon center in the starter town.

Dear Game Freak

- Make a better game engine, so you don’t give just the hot pile of garbage you’re trying to sell us.

- Have graphics exactly like Nintendo’s games, BoTW and Mario Odyssey. They won’t sue.

- Have ALLLLLLLL the Pokémon. Every single 1000 of them.

F**k your families, work on MY game and make it perfect! You don’t need to eat or sleep! Silly, that’s for humans like your fans. We all know you guys aren’t human — your game devs. Lonely sad game devs with no life outside making games.

If we don’t get exactly these things, we send you death threats, complain online, and refuse to buy your game that you barely worked on. We want you to make the best game just like Pokémon Red was but with all 1000 Pokémon and better graphics.

Pokémon SwSh

I’m gonna go ahead and say it, I understand you lot that are upset with the whole not getting to important your Pokémon over and such.

But I also understand Game Freak, as a person who’s tried developing a game, ITS TEDIOUS. So, I get the whole making new models or animation for every single Pokémon. There’s a 1000 now. If I had to be the guy to make new animations for all 1000 Pokémon I’d probably off myself.

Also don’t hate Game Freak or the game, it was BOUND to happen. Game Freak is trying their hardest. Look at the detail they’ve put into the environments. We haven’t even seen it all yet.

That said, I play Pokémon for the new and freshness. New Pokémon, new region.so it completely doesn’t affect me, but I understand.
