ooc; haha, I doze off at work sometimes too. I work when people should be sleeping so it's hard to stay up sometimes!
I'm moving out of my family's place and into an apartment with my girlfriend at the beginning of next month! Finally.
Every time i move I realize how much stuff i have that i don't need. this is my third move in like four years, you'd think i'd have slimmed it down by now.

ooc; well, the past few nights i've worked third shift (11pm-7am) at my hotel job, but i've also had a lot of other stuff I had to do! like homework, and errands, and packing, and furniture shopping. Then our air conditioner broke and it was too hot to sleep...
I've gotten a few naps in so it's not two days with NO sleep, just way less than I need. I also have insomnia so getting to sleep on a NORMAL time is hard.
Once this move is over everything will be easier on me.

It hadn’t been his idea to go out drinking with the Turks, but Zack had really, really wanted him to come along—so—he had obliged. However, Reno and Zack getting drunk within the same city was probably not the best idea. He’d ended up taking home a very drunk Turk only to have a shoe hurled a his head when he insisted that the redhead had had way, way more than he could tolerate.
The text was waiting for him when he sat down to check his phone after having a lecture with Zack the next day.

ooc; my absolute pet peeve is lateness. 5 minutes early is late to me. so when the next shift doesn't show up on time i get annoyed as hell.
Reno raised his eyebrow at what Angeal said about his past, not expecting to find something he’d understand that easy. “You know, I can actually relate to that,” he said, serious for once.
So, he guessed he could see it, at least a little bit. He felt a bit attached to his own EMR, though he wouldn’t be heartbroken if it disappeared. More like annoyed. But his EMR wasn’t really unique, was it?
More like a symbol of himself. A weapon was how he fought, and what people remembered him by-“So that’s it! It’s like you, except in sword form. Like your symbol or somethin’.”
He’d blurted that out loud and covered his mouth. Dammit, he really needed to work on that. Why was he talking to a SOLDIER about this of all things? He shouldn’t even really associate, but chopper flights where he wasn’t piloting were boring as hell. “I’m guessin’ at least. I don’t say I’m an expert at all, yo. Jus’ that hunk of metal’s gotta mean somethin’ to ya if ya lug it around like that.”
He still laughed at the fact Genesis got his sword to match his coat.
“Well,” the male began, eyes still more fixated upon the weighty blade than it was the talking Turk, “it's less a symbol of me and more what I believe in.” The blade wasn't wholly unique, Angeal was sure. Elsewhere in the world, he was sure other, similar Buster Swords would exist in the hands of various people. And, honestly, he didn't want his symbol, what he was remember by to be a weapon. He was a SOLDIER, yes, known for fighting—but any that knew him knew, he specialized in Defense. Likewise, Genesis put much energy into his magic; and Sephiroth? Offense. Clearly. Any time one compared the three of them, this was obvious. “Honor... and dreams.” And family. And pride. And many other things, all projected onto one sword.
One sword that he treasured too much to put to its intended use.
He chuckled, too, when he heard the fire-haired Turk laugh openly in response to the comment about Genesis's sword. Well, that was partly it. Genesis always had an attraction to the color red, something that drew him in. So it probably just happened that the sword and coat were both requested in red... but he liked his little theory better. It was more amusing.
Yes, helicopter rides could wear on someone when there wasn't conversion involved. Now he was in less of a sour mood—and, less pain, thanks to the potion—he didn't so much mind talking to the Turk. There was probably some ordinate somewhere about fraternizing between the two (very) seperate districts, but it was mostly ignored from time to time. As long as it wasn't conspiration, it shouldn't mater, should it?
“... So I guess I do have a sentimental attachment to it. Sephiroth and his... attachment, though, I couldn't explain.” There were a lot of things about Sephiroth even Angeal didn't quite get.
ooc; had planned to knock out the other drafts i owe, but i suddenly have a very bad headache and feel cripplingly tired. once again on skyp if anyone wants to talk.
