finding it interesting how many people depict robby's behavior as singular and monotone and just plain boring. because there are and have always been complexities to his behavior. two truths can exist at the same time. robby can feel protective of his department and feel panicked about leaving while also having subconscious biases against baran. robby can see himself in samira and want her to do well, but also treat her disproportionally worse than the other students. robby can have trauma from his mother leaving and deserves to have support around him, while also projecting this in a very heinous and mean way towards his subordinate. he can be a good teacher and want the best for his students while also being hypocritical and mean. robby can be correct in leading his department and wanting his staff to function safely, while also claiming false authority and control over how baran should handle her seizures. he can see himself in whitaker and treat him very well, while it's also valid to question why whitaker is getting this much authority and trust compared to robby's other more experienced residents. robby can be incredibly burnt out and hurting, making it very hard to ask for help if he's buried himself into it so deep, while still having to face the consequences that will arise for not getting mental health support he needs. robby can be valid in his distrust of langdon, while also being petty and hypocritical in the way he treated langdon when he came back. it's never one thing, it never has been

Sweetness, we had women getting KILLED by the morality police, they still abduct women for not wearing hijab. If you see me walking around with no hijab, it’s because i’m fight against the system for my rights.
