Iām so tired of this fandom constantly dog-piling Hudson Williams. He has openly admitted that when he was younger, he was trying to fit in, made mistakes, and surrounded himself with the wrong people. Heās acknowledged it, taken accountability, and has said heās ashamed of some of the things he did.
Yet people have been relentlessly attacking him since December, as if they expect him to be punished forever for mistakes he has already owned up to. Do any of you ever stop to think about what this kind of constant harassment does to someoneās mental health?
Whatās even more disturbing is seeing people say they wonāt stop until he kills himself. That is beyond criticism that is bullying. No one deserves that.
You donāt have to like him, support him, or forgive him, but encouraging or celebrating the destruction of someoneās mental health is genuinely messed up. Do better.
Do you think Shane and Ilya were having sex every day at the cottage? Because honestly, Ilya probably couldnāt keep his hands off Shane, and Shane seems so gone for him that the minute Ilya says āget naked,ā heās already halfway there.
Hudson and Connor are best friends, right? And on SNL interview, Connor said that he and Francois are also best friends.
So hereās my question⦠why were Hudson and Connor so determined to keep their friendship hidden? Like, Iām sure they hang out, but you never see photos of them together like that. Even when they were in Paris , they asked a fans not to post pictures of them.
But when it comes to Francois, theyāre always being photographed⦠so whatās the difference?
People are going to call me a hater, but this is my truth.
1. Francois absolutely played a role in this hate train. The constant interviews where he pushed the Scott/Ilya narrative fueled obsessive shippers, and some of his comments toward Hudson felt unnecessary and low-key shady.
2. That THR post is racist at best. Letās be serious nothing about Francois performance screamed āEmmy.ā Especially considering he didnāt even audition and was cast through personal connections. Letās not rewrite history.
3. The silence from certain cast members/ crew is⦠interesting. When someone you claim to āloveā is getting dragged publicly, saying nothing speaks volumes.
4. And as for Hudson I genuinely wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors. Iāll be supporting your career for the long run.
White gays are white at the end of the dayā¦.
Iāll say this loud for the people in the back āNEVER DATE YOUR CO-STARā
I honestly feel so bad for Hudson Williams. Imagine having whole corners of the internet actively wishing you would leave a show just so the Ilya love interest could be Scott like, newsflash: thatās not how casting or storytelling works. On top of that, you have people being openly racist, saying he wonāt make it because heās Asian, then switching the narrative to āheās doing too muchā when the boy is literally just attending events he was invited to. It must be exhausting being a POC on a show with a majority white cast, especially when those same white cast members are silent while racism is being thrown your way. And letās be real heās definitely seeing the hate. Heās always online. That alone can mess with your head. What really gets me is how people are downplaying his acting like itās nothing, when he actually did a fantastic job portraying Shane Hollander. The talent is there. The effort is there. The passion is there. I genuinely pray he gets good scripts and the space to prove everyone wrong, because he deserves that chance. Bullying someone to the point of depression or pushing them out of a project says way more about the fandom than it ever will about him and honestly, that part is what makes all of this so messed up.
No weapons formed against Hudson Williams shall prosper š§æš§æš§æš§æš§æ
I once promised myself that I would never be part of any fandom again. Unfortunately, my Twitter timeline has somehow turned into a Heated Rivalry fan page overnight, and I genuinely cannot escape it. Watching this unfold has made one thing very clear to me. This fandom is on a fast track to ruining something good before it even has the chance to breathe.
People are already pitting Hudson and Connor against each other, digging into their personal lives, and creating narratives that have absolutely nothing to do with the work they do. That kind of behavior is exhausting and unnecessary. These are real people, not characters, and it is unsettling how quickly boundaries are being crossed.
As for the dating rumors, I honestly do not care whether Connor and Francois are together or not. It is none of my business, and the truth is we do not even know if they are dating in the first place. If I am being honest, I personally think co stars dating can complicate things, but if Connor is happy, then so be it. That is his life, not ours, and he does not owe anyone an explanation.
What really bothers me is the way some people in this fandom are already writing Hudson off. Saying he will not get roles because he is Asian or claiming he cannot control himself is not only cruel but deeply ignorant. I completely rebuke that narrative. Hollywood already has serious issues with diversity, especially when it comes to Asian representation, and comments like those only reinforce harmful stereotypes.
I genuinely hope Hudson finds great success in this industry and proves every one of those people wrong. He deserves the same opportunities, respect, and grace as anyone else. Both of these men deserve support, not comparison, speculation, or disrespect.
At the end of the day, I wish them both nothing but success and happiness in their future endeavors. Some of you need to remember that fandom is supposed to be about appreciation, not entitlement.
Hudson is overstimulated⦠I hope heās okay
One of the funniest moments in Heated Rivalry is David Hollander asking Shane if there arenāt any nice men in Montreal while literally pouring Ilya a glass of vodka. Like⦠sir. Please look at the room. Shane is not shopping around. He has been emotionally, mentally, and irrevocably occupied for years. Montreal could be full of saints and Shane still wouldnāt notice. Ilya has that man completely locked in, no competition, no questions.
We will all be seated Fridayā¦šš„°āŗļøšāāļø
Donāt mean to start shit but itās sad that some of the actors from boots started following Connor and not Hudson⦠thatās messed upā¦
When Lone Star ended, I honestly didnāt know what I was going to watch to keep myself entertained. I even started rewatching Lone Star again because nothing else was hitting the same. Then Olympo and Heated Rivalry came along and let me just say, I am thoroughly entertained by both. The drama, the tension, the storyline⦠everything has me locked in. I didnāt even realize how much I needed something new to obsess over until these came through. Now Iām fully invested all over again.
Okay, donāt get mad at me, but I actually kind of like 9-1-1: Nashville. Now, donāt get me wrong Iām still a die-hard Lone Star supporter and praying it graces our screens again. But just like I once gave Lone Star a chance, I think people should give Nashville a chance too.
The big question is how did Carlos know TK was gay?? Did Michelle tell him or did his gaydar go off that night at the bar?
