I'd make your purr like a kitten.
"I think I’m more capable of producing purring sounds coming out of my mouth than you would."
i want to write relationships that are complicated.
i want to write the on-again-off-again relationships. i want the screaming matches and the cancelled dates and the hurt feelings and the second guesses and second chances.
i want to write people who completely shake up each other’s daily routine and flip their entire world on its axis. i want them to drive each other crazy and question why they bother sticking around and then remember the way their partner laughs or see them in a moment of vulnerability that tells them 'this is is why i stay. this is why i love you.'
i want to write relationships with struggles. with class differences and financial divide. two people who are so completely different they somehow complete each other. i want the jealousy and the feelings of inadequacy that goes with it.
i want to write people who aren’t afraid to be honest with their partner. who aren’t afraid to say 'yeah you're being an asshole' followed by 'but i still love you, you idiot.'
i want the first time they see their partner cry and the morning after their first intimate night when everything feels so right.
i want people who get so used to one another that they stop going the extra mile. i want the ‘you don’t make the effort because you already have me’ argument.
i want relationships that challenge each other to be better people and make each other question their beliefs and moral compass.
but most of all, i want to write relationships that are real. that make you feel something. i want to go on the emotional rollercoaster right along with them.
that’s what i want.

Josh knew he came off as rude, but that was okay. He wasn’t really rude and the waitress would soon find that out. As he smiled as the food had arrived to the table. Before eating, he figured he’d walk over to say sorry to her. As he got up on his feet, he walked over towards the blonde waitress. “I’m sorry about my attitude back there. Just been a long flight from London and we’ve been starving. Nothing but peanuts and water.” Josh let out a small laugh. “Let me introduce myself, my name is Josh. I am in a British band with these guys and we are Union J.” He nodded as he looked around. “Oh, before I forget. Here is a tip!” He said as he placed a $100 bill in her pocket, of course it did have a note with his number.
As he made his way back over to the table and sat down and took a bite of the burger and grabbed a fry. “Ah, good food. Finally!” He laughed a bit. The boys had never had America food, so this was a first for them. As he took a drink of the tea, he smiled. Of course, before they left they had to do their usual. But, that would be a little bit. As he continued to eat, he finished. “Want desert guys? I can go see what they offer?” Josh asked as he got up once more and walked over to the waitress again. “Mam, what do you guys do for desert? Some of these fat asses are still hungry!” He laughed a bit.
Hearing his apology, Mattie smiled a little as she just nodded her head as she turned to him. "I usually have to wait for a few drinks before someone gets rude with me and I'm usually not this nice to them." She dawned a half smile before she folded her arms across her chest as she listened to him explain who he was. "Right. Sook knows you guys. Sorta..." She nodded her head, stepping back as he slid the tip in her pocket. She watched him closely, shaking her head after he got back to his table before she bounced off to talk to Sookie about it. That was probably the worst idea ever in Mattie's book because that lead to Sookie being Sookie and asking a million questions to the boys. And probably sneaking littles hints about Mattie in there. She always did that. Just because you're insane about boys doesn't mean I gotta be. Mattie understood why Sookie was like that but at the same time, she hated being on display. Which was saying something in the uniform she was in.
"Dessert? We have cake. That's about it till shipment. They're runnin' behind." She shrugged a little, biting her lip as she put her hand in the pocket he put her tip and narrowed her eyes a little as she looked at him. "You're like really hot." Nice filter, Mattie. "Oh shit. I'm sorry." She could feel her entire face just glowing red after that. Shaking her head, she turned around,, holding her hands over her face as she walked back to the kitchen window, looking at Lafayette who started pouring out about how red her face was. "Oh, fuck's sake!" She rolled her eyes before she caught eye contact with the boy bander again before she ran out of the door, thinking outside and fresh air would do her some sort of good.

The story he had hidden for centries is there. But, Josh knew he had a good chance on hiding who he was because he was now in this huge boy band. Deep down inside of him, he knew he was this dark vampire that could feed on anyone and everyone that had tried to cross him or even tried to harm him. The thing about Josh? He was turned by an Original vampire which made him immortal. Nothing could kill him. Of course, a silver stake could harm him.
As he walked into this small bar, he looked around. He shrugged his shoulders as he could sense some people looking at him. The boy bander wasn’t alone, he traveled with his band mates. As he sat down, he looked around. “Your kitchen better be open.. We are starving…” Josh mumbled as he looked down at the table where the menus were. “Hm, since we are new to this country… how about four hamburgers and four teas to start us off?” Of course, Josh said all this with his thick British accent. He couldn’t help it, his accent had always came through when he was in a different country.
"Do you have to be so rude?" The blonde rolled her eyes as she scribbled down the order and turned away. She eyed over her shoulder before looking at Sookie, shaking her head. "I can't believe you talked me into working here. There's a complete ass at that table. "She groaned a little, ripping the ticket off and passing it over to Lafayette before rolling her eyes again as she listened to everyone talk about some body that was found a few hours ago. It wasn't exactly uncommon in Bon Temps but it'd been pretty quiet lately with Eric gone and Bill acting like a douche all over the country. It was just out of the blue.
Ten minutes later, she dashed back to the tale, two plates on each arm as she slid them down on the table in front of each of the men in front of her. "If you need anything, just holler." She started walking away before groaning as she turned back around before writing her name on a napkin and sliding it on the table. She smiled a little, looking at all of them before she pulling her hair over her shoulders, exposing the side of her neck as she turned around and tending to other people at the table behind them.
“Once a month, try something you don’t think you’d be good at. You can find such happy surprises.”
“When you’re sad, you’re not sad. You are merely oblivious to the good things in your life. There is always a crack of light in the darkness. Find it.”
when your muses are horny for absolutely no reason at all
Can you and Josh bang and have kids? Like seriously, perfect couple anyone?
"We actually have a two. A little boy and a little girl. Vanessa and Carson."
here and here.

----❧ Typical night down at Merlotte's. Pool, drunks and everyone talking about the new normal in vampires. Either agree or disagree, and that started most of the bar fights. There was one person in particular that tried to stray from all of that. One of the two blonde waitresses that we're constantly working. One was Sookie, a telepathic fairie. The other? Well, she wasn't nearly as special as Sookie was. No special abilities and nowhere near as pretty as Sookie was. Her name was Mattie. She wasn't a bad sight by any means, but she was always overshadowed by Sookie.
"Right. Four hamburgers, one salad, one tea, two tequila on the rocks and one vodka with Tru Blood O Negative?" She raised an eyebrow, looking at the table full of males in question. God, they looked familiar. Shaking her head, she turned away, tossing her ponytail over her shoulders and walking away, one hand on her hip as she turned in the order. No sooner did she turn around, did she find herself pressed against someone else. Looking up, she bit her bottom lip as she backed away, holding her hands out in a pleading motion. "I am so sorry!"
Fuck me?
"Excuse me, Cuthbert?"
