Anyway, prompts for TreebarkWeek2025 are here! Because a lot has happened since last event, hasn't it? Don't worry, we freaked out too, and that's an understatement.

As always, this event is dedicated to creating content for the Treebark ship and sharing it with others who like it too. Based on the poll we ran earlier this year, we've decided the event will take place from June 30th to July 6th, with our usual dual prompts!

This time we bring you a gimmick called Mash! Basically, if you feel like spicing up the event week by picking two prompts for the same piece, why not mix and mash prompts from different days? Go wild! It certainly has been some wild times since we last ran this event, hasn't it? You can follow the prompts or make your own, and create whatever you'd like—canon, canon-divergent, AUs, anything!

treebark title swap is (probably) running again!!

after learning the errors of my ways in modding a 70+ person event entirely on my own, I’ve assembled a team and will be running the event again with their assitance this spring!

largely, this event will function the same, with better behind-the-scenes work, and the mod team (since now its a team) will be more on top of things.

additionally, as many treebarkers are likely involved with the inthelittlezine, this event will not be running until AFTER that has finished. We’re looking late April-June here for creating time.

however, word minimums of 300 words and art minimums of a sketch will not be changing. additionally, the shipping/non shipping channels will remain separate to include as many people as possible. The point of this event was to be chill, and share some cool titles, and it’s staying that way.
