âOh, so the uncouth cur decides to show his face once more.â Squints at protopup.
CĂș didnât bother waiting for the Berserker to give him permission to walk in. He already knew that the moment he stepped inside that room, the other probably already had a list of complaints about his behavior and, uhhh, the unfortunate events of the last time he walked inside this very room. But, hey, at least, everything was repaired and Barry wasnât going Berserker on him. That had to be an improvement! That the young warrior was about to throw down the drain because of his inability to shut up. âWell, I was told that a cute and fluffy rabbit had recently reintegrated into the medical department so, of course, I came to see for myself.â A lie. A horrendous and tragic lie.Â
The warrior took a seat in front of the Berserkerâs desk, crossed his arms and even went with manspreading (as one of his many foster fathers had told him to do if he needed to show defiance and dominance without murdering anyone). âUnluckily, it just turned out to be just one wild rabbit with rabies. So we kind of are in the same boat here, huh?â
On the other side of the table, in the middle of maintaining his tools with just the right amount of grease to keep the scalpel sharp, he sets the cloth aside on the clean table. He balances the weight of the scalpel in his hand as he turns to glance up towards the heavy footed Lancer, letting it flip between his fingers.Â
âA rabbit implies that Iâm harmless,â he pauses then, just as the scalpel easily slips into the palm of his head, at ready. His words remain steady as before, but there was something heavy underlying his words. âAn infected rabbit would not be able to maintain this level of control --- even so,â he brings the scalpel up, moving close to the Lancer, holding the blade inches from his throat. The white cloth of his barely bumps against his tools as he kneels on his own table as well to reach, yet heâs careful not to allow his clothing to touch the filth that gathered on the muttâs person.
âThereâs little patience to be tested if you insist on tainting my haven.â
'In order to rid the body of any impurities, a bottle of wine is better used for bathing.'
âI wonder about the constitution of humans from this time compared to my own and, perhaps, earlier. If our Master is any indication, then humans have gotten stronger physically even with a lack of formal training.â

âThe concept of Microwaves is incredible. I can see how it would work to sterilize some items. Although, it is unfortunate it causes others to combust.â
âThere will never come a day that I would not appreciate the idea of plumbing they have in Chaldea --- as well as these medicated hot baths.â
@nobudemon asked: âI think you should teach first aid to our master. This will be more useful to them than self-defenseâ.
âIf our master held an ounce of interest in First Aid, it would be highly beneficial. Yet, every time I encounter them, they appear to show fear. Itâs rather disappointing. They donât even show up for a check up.â

âHmmm. During Summer 3 - Doujin Con or whatever it was, I died fairly early, then was bought back again, died when fighting some robot servant something. I have died due to being drowned in ink thanks to Father, and being generally not important due to the writers.â Not until she is a saber who went full Naruto weeb. Then, her identity was straight up killed off. Barry, why? WHy do you want to know?
â ... ... ... ... I see.âÂ
He doesnât believe her at all.

âI am very sure I have died in worst ways than being chocked and dying.â Hokusai squints with a gleam of light. âBut, please donât surprise me like that.â
âNow that piqued my interest. If it would not be too insensitive of me, what ways have you died?â Itâs hard to tell if itâs the beserker side or just his personality, but he seems to ignore the whole âsurpriseâ thing. Itâs not as thought he tried.
@barrymadnow
âI nearly choked on my french fries, Berserker-san!â
âHm? Youâre nowhere near choking. Even if you were, Iâm certain youâll survive if Iâm around. After all, it would be a terrible way to return to the Throne.â

though she pulled a disgusted face did she take a swing of her drink. even in her true pirate days did she have more standards than that when it came to helping someone in that way. she could only imagine the rats walking around. â dunno the rules they had for the pledge you guys are supposed to be taking, but that sounds wild. â she swallows another amount of her alcohol.
â but the rats part sound interesting since the black plague happened even before i was born. did it cause anything? â
âPerhaps the topic may be controversial to some --- the idea that even our prisoners should be given proper care. One of the clinics Iâve had the joy of commanding had been one of them. The conditions were terrible and obvious rendered to those, who had been at the time, of higher command than I, whoâve chosen to waste them on vices.â He nods towards her drink. Alcohol and sex was what he had implied.Â
âThe moment I walked into the building, the rat infestation had overrun the building in such away, it was not surprising to see one run off with the toe or finger of a patient.â
He stirred his drink, plain hard water.
âGetting thrown into prison myself for a day was worth repairing that room they pretended was a clinic as well as a good portion of the prisonersâ. After threatening the right people, itâs easy enough to get oneâs way.â

âăćăâ  â no ⊠donât go ⊠FATHER â !! â a sharp scream cut through the NIGHT AIR and the owner of the voice was jolted awake from slumber and the dream that she was witnessing. her form was drenched in cold sweat, a hint of TEARS could be seen collecting at the corners of her widened azure orbs and her breathing was RAGGED. the magus was sitting up now, back hunched as she tried to COLLECT her thoughts. ah ⊠she was sure that the fear running through her mind mustâve been transferred to a certain someone.
        her soulmate.
what a CONCEPT ⊠even the young heiress couldnât help thinning her lips at the thought, trying to calm herself down and slowly lowering her form back onto the mattress.Â
she wondered if she had been bothering her FATED ONE with such childish emotions like this. if they had been feeling that fear rooted deep inside her heart and wondering why she was so WEAK not to shake it all away. lips THINNED and she willed her mind to shake away the nightmare â no ⊠it was a fragment of the past, wasnât it ? the back of her father.
and she curled inwardly â fingers trembling in slight ⊠right ⊠what was she scared of ? losing the one she loves ? thatâs IMPOSSIBLE, isnât it ?
after all ⊠only her could possibly KILL him âŠ
The noise had echoed down the hallway, loud enough for him to hear it as he started his rounds. An unsettling feeling, one he could barely recognize, settled at the pit of his stomach. He found him self before the room the sound had come from, glancing at the name plate once before entering: Tohsaka, Rin. As he recalled, the woman was standard among the mages, a prized wonder among them, but it seemed the prestige had come with a price.
One that, oddly enough, had tugged at his already unstable heart.
        â Rin? â
He called as he approached the young woman, already bent on tap her shoulder. The smell of sweat reached his sensitive nose, which wrinkled slightly, observing the state she was in. Sleep would not come easily in this state, this he knew well enough.
His brow furrowed as he tried to imagine what he should do next. The woman did not need assistance in the way most of his patients needed, it was the kind of care that was often left unsaid.Â
The thing many jokingly consider a good âbedside manner.âÂ
Letting out a breath of air, he took a seat at the edge of the bed. It did nothing to ease the odd sensation of fear that radiated about the woman, poisoning the very air around them. At least, thatâs what he believed it came from.
â If youâd like to talk, Iâll listen. â
He turned towards her, his feet still dangling off the edge of the bed, brushing away a few strands of hair away from her face.
Okay so, out of curiousity, what does Barry think of Asclepius?
Donât get him wrong, he likes medical professionals that are dedicated to their job. Hell, if it wasnât the way he and nightingale met, they might have gotten along. Talk to him about that kind of stuff and heâll go on ranting in a good way. He just takes that stuff hella seriously, from the patients being treated and those involved in their treatment, environment and everything. He shares a lot of stuff with her, including their headstrong personalities.
So, when it comes to the god of medicine, himself, he would generally think highly of him. The god was part of the Hippocratic Oath, so yes heâd at least heard of him. Considering how theyâre in Chaldea, heâs actually fairly curious as to his medical opinion along with the advances they have today. If he were to bring up something like blood letting as an approved technique for common day practice ⊠theyâre not going to get along. Â
âMister Berserker⊠Do you hold something against the Nurse Berserker?â The knight asked, surprised since dâEon thought that Barry and Nightingale would work together, at least. Perhaps, even work with that long sleeve caster!
Post referring to x l @litreofsun (or you can switch to Barryâs blog!)
âMust you ask ask why I cannot work with that woman?â He just waves in her direction, wherever she was. âThe woman doesnât take care of herself. With such fair skin and hair, she should be wearing a hat when she goes out!â And off he went on to rant about that day. Why dâEon; why revive the beserkerâs annoying with her?

To tell the truth, the Lancer hadnât been thinking much when he entered the Berserkerâs office. Probably thought that Barry would be glad to see him willingly enter the room instead of being dragged like a dog that didnât want to go to the vet. He thought wrong. He thought so very wrong. As soon as he heard the Berserkerâs angered tone, CĂșâs blood froze and he couldnât understand why that small, pretty and angry guy scared him so much.
Oh⊠that was quite the ironical thought coming from him of all people.
   âBarry, wait!â
But thereâs no point in trying to reason with the Berserker now! Water is quickly flooding the room and the Lancer was sure that Ritsuka wasnât going to be pleased once she heard of how much the reparations were going to cost. And he shouldnât have wasted so much thinking instead of getting the hell out of that office because he moved a second too late and now heâs being dragged to what he guesses will be a living nightmare.
The Lancer could practically see the GAME OVER written in big, red letters as the screen began to fade to black.Â
   âŠSomeone save him?
Soap and water were essential items to cleaning. It was the same when it came to cleaning the coat of an offending mongrel. A rough scrub was used against his hair, torso, body, whatever the beserker could reach. The once white sheet heâd used to wrap around the lancer had fallen to pathetically soak up the filth coated water that splashed about from their actions.
Clean.
Scrub.
Sanitation was key.
Healthy habits were key to a healthy, long lived life.
Hell, he may even scrub the blue out of his hair if it were naturally kept by dirt.Â
Nothing Cu could say would stop him at this point. The way his eyes flashed, he wasnât going to listen to simple speech. He was going to ensure his goal was met, above all else. The water would wait. The damage would wait. All until the end.
It would only be until the very end, when mud and grime washed away from the lancerâs body, that he would stop to assess the damage to the room.Â
âVery good, Psyche,â he remarked, assessing Cu one last time before turning towards the room. Surprisingly enough, his anger was gone, but the determination to clean was not. He tugged his sleeves up and grabbed a mask and donned a new pair of gloves. âNow, do not move lest you face another cleaning.â
Reparations would be minimal so long as he was able to fix it. A surgeonâs hands were their life, and as a servant they worked far well than being dexterous. The waterline could be stopped, temporarily, with a few turns of the pipe below the sink. Then drying and assessing what could be fixed up with the room was next.
