“... eh? T --- that’s!” 

It’s one of the few moments that Ritsuka’s ever taken by surprise. She expects something like that from people outside of Chaldea or even the staff with how she acts, but from the Saint? It has her a little defensive to start with. It has her a little bit awkward.

“I do everything I can to prevent something like that, and you can’t---” She swallows, trying to stave off the annoyance because she knows that Martha’s just being curious. 

It’s an honest question.

With just the two of them here, it leaves her a little more raw than she imagined.

“It would be too dangerous.” 

She doesn’t mean for her but for them. 

Already, she’s seen how the Magus Association sees them. They’re already weary at how two ‘normal humans’ were able to become one of the greatest masters of all time despite their low aptitude for magicraft. Their ability to bond with other servants like Martha was something else on its own.

If her or aniki were to ever have a child, it would be same as putting a permanent target on their back. For as long as they chose this life, returning to the world of magicraft and mages, they would never be safe.

She looks at the sands, drawing herself inward as she sits.
