deafingers replied to your post:Viskis I threw up in the toilet and it won't flush...
I TRIED. It hates me.
“ I’d hate you too if you threw up in me. Did you call a plumber ? “
Viskis I threw up in the toilet and it won't flush I also had six beers yesterday and have been pissing like a maniac.
“ DID YOU BOTHER TO FIX THE TOILET ? “
After a day long train ride for a thing for work, they’re finally back at the bar and dead inside.
Hopefully Bobby wasn’t made at them for disappearing without warning, because they got bank.
it was late… but mob was out assisting reigen… his mother was probably going to kill him. after all, who lets a middle schooler be out so late? he probably wasn’t going to be able to function in class… but oh well.
he blinked, seeing the girl out. she… looked like she was in pain. should he help her? he gulped lightly before glancing away and then back at her.
reigen was going to kill him.
❝ excuse me, miss? is everything okay? ❞
Green eyes look up quickly at the sound of a voice, a boy standing in front of them now. He asked if they were, or she, as they weren't themself right now, alright. This sort of thing didn’t - or shouldn’t - happen but. . . It would be safe this time, right?
Moscato blinked once, twice, before giving a weak smile towards him in some sort of response and wiping their face with the bottom of their palm.
“ I. . . I’m fine. Just. . . Just tired. I will feel better once. . . Once I get home. “
@lvlunkn
All they want is to go home. They’re tired. Hungry. Sore. Their work tonight was pointless, the money they were promised instead taken back and used by the person to fulfill his own deeds again. Why hadn’t they disposed of their connections yet? Each time he had called and begged them to come, promises of the money he owed them and how he would change, filling the phone line at the bar with his lies and filth.
God, Viskis couldn’t wait tell he ended up somewhere in a ditch.
Heels are removed from aching feet, free hand raising to wipe away a tear forming at the corner of their eye. A sniffle follows and soon enough they’re on the ground, back against a wall with their knee(s) gingerly pulled tight to their chest as to not irritate the pain already there.
Apollo’s arms folded over one another and he lost himself in thought for a few moments. This certain supported what the bartender had said, and it was just the testimony he needed. Since he already had a sworn affidavit of the bartender’s statement, corroborated by the owner, he didn’t need a second signed statement, so he stowed that away, but there were a few interesting tidbits brought up in the owner’s statement that had caught the lawyer’s attention.
“In a nasty trenchcoat and smelled of iron? Did it look nasty like it was covered in dirt or more a wet kind of nasty?”
(This could be huge… If he had the victim’s blood on him at 6, then that confirms my theory that the crime scene and where the body was discovered were different places!)
. Viskis nodded at the lawyer’s statement, eyes still trained on him as he thought. Was there really a criminal going to the bar? The man had been there before on multiple occasions, ordering the same drink over and over again while he had just sat there in silence. They should have questioned him about himself sometime, he would’ve been considered an almost-regular.
“ Wet nasty with some dirt. He had dirty nails too, I remember that. Disgusting, I wanted to douse them in hand sanitizer! I probably washed the counter 5 times after he left. “
Like or Reblog for a Moscato starter.
There’s a bird in the bar, Viskis’s eyes remaining on the creature as it flutters around the building with no regard to the feathers it’s currently leaving. Please let no one come to the counter for a drink, this is rather entertaining.
“It means mother I’d like to fuck. I’m not a mother, but they said I’m a milf because I’m hot and have a nice chest? So, am I one?”
“ . . . . And you let that person call you that ? I mean you’re not a mother so ? “
“A customer called me a milf. Am I a milf? I want to know.”
“ What is a milf. “
They heard someone say illegal.
@scishin
Time is ticking, precious seconds being lost the longer they dawdle. The ‘ appointment ‘ they had meticulously planned out with the client was originally at 2 AM but no. . . Last minute had he changed his mind and moved it to 6:30 in the morning due to his personal needs ( who in their right mind needed something so early ? ). The clock had hit midnight when they had left the bar with Bobby in charge of the apartment and closed business, wig pinned and clothes changed to hide themselves as they slipped out of the bar so carefully as to not be seen.
It had now become a quarter to six as heels coincided with the ringing of the clock. Would they make it ? They had to. He was a returning customer, there was no way they could let him down.
Down ? Is that he would feel if they did not make it ? Or would it be anger perhaps ? Whatever it was, words have a funny way of twisting their meaning, as Viskis soon found themselves falling down as they ran headfirst into a woman clad in a purple and white outfit.
“ I apologize ! “ They choked out, eager to return to their feet. A heel had been broken in the fall, twisted off the sole of the shoe now. “ Shit! “
She’s silent, staring at them with eyes so wide they might just pop out of her head. There are tears in the corners of these wide eyes of hers, and she can’t help herself from suddenly crying out.
“Viskis-!”
Her arms wrap around the other and pull them into a tight hug, a kiss press to their cheek. She’s sobbing and burying her face into their shoulder, and it seems as if she’s saying something- but it’s hard to hear through all the tears she’s producing.
The hug is received and reciprocated, arms reaching around to embrace Bobby protectively and tightly. They don’t mind the kiss on the cheek either, a usual sign of affection from her. Ever so gently does Viskis rub her back in some sort of attempt of soothing the sobbing girl.
“ It’s going to be okay, Bobby. I promise. “
“Can we really do that? Do we have money? Doesn’t it cost something? Viskis, we can’t! I know you- and we can’t.” She turned to the other and bent down to them, eyes wide and mouth slightly parted even when she didn’t speak. Her hand rested on their own and right now, she seemed calm- but inside she was about to burst just like before. The only reason she was so fine right now was because she was calming Viskis down. Even though they weren’t as stressed as her, she knew them well. She knew everything about them.
“Viskis…”
“ We’re a small business but I. . . I do have money saved up. I don’t know how clean it is but we could use that if worst came to worse. “ There’s no way they’re giving her up. She was their priority right now; Bobby came first no matter what. After-all, you don’t abandon family twice right ? She would never abandon them and they’d never do that to her !
She’s leaning to their height now, hand covering theirs as the two make eye contact for a second before Viskis attempts a smile.
“ Besides, who would keep you from losing another finger to curiosity ? “
He had to, for the first time in his life, take his bracelet off. It was applying so much pressure to his arm that he as seriously beginning to wonder if it was going to break the skin. He kept his discolored hand tucked away in his pocket as he read the sign language, blanching as he pulled out his now-injured hand.
He’d never felt such tension from a person in his life- he’d thought Bobby was nervous, but this guy took the neurotic cake, frosting and all.
Slowly, wincing through the pain of moving the digits on his left hand, he slowly began to sign back before he slapped himself in the forehead. The guy had understoof everything he’d said, why was he signing back?
“Sorry, been a long day. I was just asking if she’d seen a man named Hu Diddit. Kind of bigger guy, about six feet tall. Blond, red streak, green eyes. Was in here at about six PM last night. I was wondering if you could corroborate her statement.”
Color Viskis surprised when Apollo signs back to them. You’ve honestly earned some respect and points for that, you know. Not many people have the audacity to even attempt to understand the signs ( sometimes they’ll play Charades with Viskis in an attempt to grasp an idea on what they’re saying ), let alone communicate in return.
That’s not enough to give him the respect that they probably should give him though. This bartender is stubborn, specifically with people from the law field.
“ Don’t remember a guy like that- “ They crack their knuckles and stretch before continuing; “ A weird tall guy did walk in around then though, decked out with a nasty trenchcoat on and hat. Reeked of iron or something. Ordered a few beers and left after mumbling something, only gave a little less than everything he owed and didn’t even to bother tipping Bobby. “
“I don’t want to go home, Viskis! I don’t! What if he sends me home? What if he was really here for me? I gave him my real name! I can’t go back there- do you know what will happen?”
She’s pacing around the room with her hand running itself through her hair, her voice cracking the more and more she speaks. She can’t do this- she can’t. Bobby was just about ready to burst.
It wasn’t usual to see her this panicked but it was enough to cause themself to go into such a state. That wouldn’t help the situation of them both though, as it would only spiral them into worse mindsets. The only thing Viskis could do right now is to remain calm and try and get Bobby to stop pacing.
Throat closes as it usually does before there are words uttered, a single swallow being the only reason that the words are allowed to come forth.
“ I’m not going to let them take you. We can. . . Go through legal matters if we have to. “
