Colin Meloy should know he’s arrived as an author: He’s been translated into Catalan! I like seeing the map of PDX translated.

After my birthday I made a goal for myself.
Goal: Take more pictures. Share more pictures. Free some of the pictures that have never left my computer.
I decided that I should give myself a photo project as motivation around that goal.
Photo project: Post pictures every week that were taken during that week in one of the 4-5 years since we moved here.
Interesting? Tedious? Short-lived? only time will tell :)
This purdy little Citroën greeted me outside our front door this morning.
Statue is ready for summer!
Portlandia has infiltrated Catalan bookstores.
Picnicking on the grassy moat of a castle while waiting for a Wes Anderson film to begin. Summer is in full swing!
Barcelona English Choir had the privilege of singing at the wedding of our friends Nieves and Lane. Amazing acoustics and lovely mass presided over by a priest who'd known Nieves since she was a little girl. @Plaça de la Bonanova
