A Silver Spotted Skipper (Epargyreus clarus) on a New England Aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae). You can even see the proboscis.

Hello, I am an imperial moth caterpillar (Eacles imperialis). A group of preschoolers found me crossing the path in the garden. I am the green and yellow larva variation but I can also come in a black and orange variety as well. September 25, 2014. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
