It's been hot recently and ive been wearing tank tops to work and so many people have complimented my iron lung tattoo. Most people dont know what its from but it is fueling me to getting more tattoos.

I went to the Pokémon fossil exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago!

They had actual fossils in Red while Pokémon stuff was in Blue! And the real fossils were drawn in the pokemon art style along with actual archeologists!!

I get to add to the list of dumb ways I've injured myself.

My eye got so dry last night that when I opened them to get ready to work I ended up giving myself a coronal erosion.

What's a coronal erosion? It's like an abrasion but MUCH WORSE.

Basically I ripped the bottom 1/3 of my cornea and I was in excruciating pain and now my vision is messed up. I went to an eye doctor (because the ER wouldn't help me) and she was able to give me numbing drops so that I could open my eye for the exam. Then she gave me a special contact lens that will act as a bandage. I also have 2 follow up appointments.

I got a herniated disc from helping Dad with bags of dirt and oh my god this is the worst pain I've been in.

We had to call 911 Wednesday night/Thursday morning because I physically couldn't move and was screaming in pain. The doctor ended up giving me 25 micrograms of Fentanyl and it did nothing for the pain.

I went to the doctor with mom (I can barely sit much less drive) and he wants to get me set up with a spine specialist (he did use the word "scoliosis-like" when describing my back) and physical therapy .

Im just mad that I'm missing work (by the way I now work at a chewy warehouse which probably didn't help with the injury)

I got to see TWRP and Ninja Sex Party last night!! Brian came out and taljed to everyone in line thanking them for being able to make the new date, (water under the outdoor venue's stage and freezing temps is not a safe outdoor concert), it was cool to talk to him about random shit. TWRP opened and we were allowed to take pictures during their set but we were told to keep our phones away during NSPs set. Also with those pins and heart I now have a completed second pin board!

Hey friendo, have some life updates under the cut.

1. Not a dental assistant anymore, the place i was employed at let me go after I started asking about benefits (insurance) that I was told were available in my interview. I also left because I was frustrated with the fact that I was told in many interviews to, "just use my husband's insurance" (I have no plans of getting married)

2. I did a 5k last year and had some foot problems afterwards, turns out the ligament in my feet are so stretched out they separate creating a gap which causes pain. Both feet will need surgery but I need insurance.

3. I've been losing weight! My heaviest was at 235 and I've gotten down to the 199-205 range but haven't been under 200 consistently.

4. I work for a Chewy fulfilment center now!

5. this is also the most recent development, I have hearing loss in my right ear. Unfortunately the earliest I can get in to an audiologist is in July
