i finally finished anna karenina a couple days ago, now im onto war and peace
the only thing for me thats occasionally gets mildly annoying in russian works is constantly switching between the text and the footnotes to read the french trabskations, i dont mind but it is a lot more prevalent in war and peace so far .. i never felt it until this book hehe
anyway . new literature side blog ,, i enjoy russian lit and philosophy, my favorite of all time is georges bataille. im also very fond of james baldwin and j.g. ballard.
just thought, henry would have adored The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky
