If you're wondering why we've been quite for so long... get a load of THIS!
Also, back when we were working on the first game, we were asked about acquiring sound files. It was impossible for the first game due to the inability to turn off the background music. However! The background music can be turned off in Origins, so it might be possible to manually clip/record specific voice lines or even sounds. It would be fun to take requests after we’re done with the bulk of the sprite work.
2021 Update!?
I just realized our last major updated was in 2017. I beat origins back in 2019!!! This is way overdue but we’ve started the sprite ripping process for Origins!! Huzzah!! 🎉🎉🎉 No projected timelines or anything like that, but we’ll be sure to post when things start getting uploaded.

Howdy! The ironic thing is, I do actually down Eternal Sonata! I started it on an xbox but I not longer have access to that or any other xbox so I can’t finish the game. Maybe someday, I’m sure it was ported to another system! I did really enjoy what I played of it though!

Well hey! I only just beat Baten Kaitos: Origins a few months ago, so my but and I have not yet worked up the gumption for replaying it on PC to start extracting sprites. Hopefully we will soon, because I have had a recent need for some character portraits! Thanks for checking in!
Exciting news though, making my way through BKO and I have so much unbridled love for this prequel-sequel-thing. It is so good.
What do you think of the idea of upscaling the background and other art assets using a service like Let's Enhance and then injecting them back into the game? Like an HD texture pack?
Honestly that would be RAD AS HECK, however, neither of us are emulator modders. I would have no idea how to get the textures back into the game. ^^;What a wonderful idea though.

After opening the main folder, you can find it in the subfolders Misc > Endmost Bethel!
