also i just realized actually accepting the context of bruce's murder in tdkr is kind of a great answer to utrh, because you have him being faced by the impossible again, between choosing between his impossible line over getting jason back and he chose poorly, he maimed jason at the risk of gaining nothing, but in tdkr, the choice is this evil man using a baby as a shield and its him or the child, the choice is easy

Listen, the snyderverse is canon becasue its an elseworld. Batman has literally killed. And everything is canon. You guys don't need to put that in the "Batfleck" tag or keep caring about a "Dead universe" where the internet has collected "moved on" from because there are new comics and new movies coming out everyday. Batkeaton was also a killer. Batbale was also a killer. Even Batkilmer. But the one character that is narratively critiqued for actually ignoring human casualty in his war on crime for the "show" of it is the one bad egg.

and like i get it, if you want to live in the comic world / dreamworld where the narrative clincher is bruce has such indomitable human self control that he can hit you like a freight train but somehow hold back without causing brain damage and yet how many people in americna sports get brain damage from a hit and batman has more violent stories than what we even see in bvs? but that very basic thing of him knocking out criminals where the human brain is automatically at risk if you stay unconscious for more than 5 minutes where he has stories that he hangs them upside down????
