Someone posted a photo of this insanely fluffy cat to Reddit, and the Internet decided to step up and do what it does best: get creative.
The Redditor who posted the photo challenged commenters to a Photoshop battle, and crafty users got to work transforming the perfectly circular kitty into everything from a dandelion to a hot air balloon.
It is ridiculous in the way only a true crazy cat lady (like myself) can appreciate.
See some of the best Photoshopped meow-sterpieces featuring the fluffy feline, below. If you make your own kitty pic, drop a link in the comment section. Weâd love to see it.

Thanks to an innovative new app called Transcence, life just became more social for those who canât hear.
Transcenceâs CEO, Thibault Duchemin, has a deaf sister and parents who want to lead normal lives. But, his sister found that during conversations between multiple people and in larger groups, her hearing aid garbled sound. She couldnât tell who was talking.
Duchemin and his global teamâs idea uses smartphone microphones and the app to identify who is talking by their voices.
The app then transcribes the conversation in real time, attributing each comment to the person who made it. Transcence was created with input from more than 300 audiologists, design experts and deaf people.
Deaf friends can be social without becoming overwhelmed. Smartphones are practically omnipresent anyway, so why not make use of them?
The Transcence team, which has only beta tested the app, is crowdfunding to make it a reality. With one month left, theyâve got less than $20,000 to go.

With Halloween right around the corner, itâs important that you confirm this yearâs costume within the next few days.
That includes deciding on what you want your furry little friend to be for Halloween. Whether you have a cat, a dog or even a pet rabbit, there are all sorts of awesome costumes you can dress your pet in.
Take Bryn Anderson for example. Using white, non-toxic, pet-safe paint, she dressed her dog, Nixie, as a skeleton. If youâre looking for a cool, unique and easy costume idea for your pet, this is your best bet!
First, youâre going to want to make sure you have the proper paint, just in case your pet wants to see what it tastes like.
Next, all you have to do is paint the skeleton on both sides of your dog.
All done!
âTrick or treat, trick or treat, give me something good to eat.â
Something tells me Nixie is going to get an unlimited amount of dog treats this Halloween!
Hereâs Nixie all cleaned up!
Dogs arenât the only animals that can wear these awesome skeleton costumes!

A former Marine just spent the past five months hiking the entire Appalachian Trail and is now unrecognizable following the 2,000-mile journey.
The hiker, Gary Sizer, said on Reddit that the highlight of his trip from Georgia to Maine was easily the latter state, and despite the look on his face after the trip, he was âincredibly happy 99% of the time.â
Hereâs how he described his diet on Reddit,
My nutrition was atrocious. It was a five month cycle between starvation and binge eating.⨠On the trail, Iâd typically have:
Breakfast: Two pop tarts and an instant coffee with a Carnation Instant Breakfast mixed in.
All Day: I was continuously eating cliff bars, snickers, twix, cheetos, trail mix and beef jerky. And I coated it all with peanut butter or Nutella whenever possible.
Dinner: Usually some version of the Knorr pasta side with a package of tuna and a few ounces of instant mashed potatoes mixed in to thicken the gruel. Iâd pair that with a whole wheat tortilla onto which I had smeared a thick coating of cream cheese, mayonnaise, or both. Sometimes Iâd eat a few ounces of Gouda or cheddar, but all that stuffâs heavy.
Iâd get all this stuff while in town. The AT takes you near a small town every 3-5 days, and generally Iâd hitchhike to the nearest grocery store or gas station and get as much of those things as I could.
If I was âzeroingâ (staying in town, doing zero miles that day) Iâd have the biggest, most calorie rich meals I could find. Cheeseburgers, beer, ice cream, fries, wings, pancakes⌠all in absurd quantities. I was burning 5000-6000 calories per day.
Gary had wanted to hike the trail for a very long time, so he saved money for years, allowing him to quit his job and follow through on his dream.
He has already started writing a book on his travels, saying the blog he kept along the way represents just a small percentage of the experience.

When we were talking to the clerk about how to care for the fish, she told us, âBe sure not to overfeed your fish. Just two pellets.â
When we read the little instruction book that came with the bowl, it said, âDo not overfeed your fish.â On the bottle of fish food, it said, âDO NOT OVERFEED.â So it seems clear to me that people have a real tendency to overfeed their fish.
Which got me thinking â why is it so fun to feed animals, birds, people? Even when itâs not such a good idea.
People feed pigeons, bears, and zoo animals, even though itâs not good for the animals or the environment. I know the feeling. Growing up in Kansas City, my sister and I loved to feed the ducks in Loose Park.
Thereâs just something deeply satisfying about it.
I wonder if thatâs why so many people seem to have the drive to urge other people to eat, too.
In writing Better Than Before, my book about habit change (which you can order here: buy early, buy often!), the issue of eating habits came up over and over.
In talking about their attempts to have healthier eating habits, people often told me that an important person in their life made this aim more difficult.
âMy grandmother gets insulted if I donât take seconds or thirds.â
âMy friend said, âBut I baked it especially for you!â even though she knew I was trying to give up sweets.â
âI told my wife that I canât have chips in the house, but she says we have to have those foods, for the kids.â
âEveryone at the table was ordering dessert, and they wouldnât let it go until I ordered some, too.â
I think thereâs a lot of things that might be going on in these situations. People judge what they eat according to what others eat, so they want others to eat more â so they can eat more, guilt-free! People feel uneasy when others change an important habit. People donât want to feel inconvenienced by someone elseâs habit change.
But partly, too, I think itâs just satisfying to feed someone or something.
And this aspect of human nature is worth taking into consideration when weâre changing our habits, and when weâre thinking about how other people are affecting our habits.
The Strategy of Other People is a key strategy for habit change.
What do you think? Do you find it satisfying to feed someone or something? Even when you know it may not be a good idea?

The key is knowing whether you and your communication partner are the same or opposite communicator types.
If you do not know your communicator type, you are not licensed to drive on the two-way communicator highway. Ignorance of communicator types is not bliss, but leads to blame, which leads to bad habits and resistance to change.
Canât you and your partner be a combination of both instigator or empathizer types? No, you canât. You are born one or the other. The more life experience you have, the more likely you are to have a mixed profile or pick up your opposite communicator typeâs style.
Not all of these traits will prove true for you, but the majority will fall into a pattern consistent with that of one communicator type. If youâre feeling unsure, think back to a time when you were less able to disguise your personality type, such as during your childhood.
As you go through the exercise, place your name and your partnerâs name beside the appropriate list.
Are you an empathizer type?
Are your feelings easily hurt?
When youâre in the driverâs seat, does your mood affect your output?
Do you back off or skim over important issues, so as not to create hard feelings?
Have you been told you are too âthin-skinnedâ?
Are you too good for your own good?
Do you feel you have trouble getting past the past?
Are you surprised when coworkers or family members canât âsee the obviousâ?
If you answered yes to most of these questions, youâre probably an E-type communicator. You have a bone to pick with I-types, who, from your vantage point, are too insensitive and coldly logical.
Are you an instigator-type communicator?
Are your feelings difficult to hurt because you believe, âItâs nothing personalâ?
Are you able to put your mind over your mood?
Can you be impatient or get mad a little too easily?
Can you be pushy, or âover talkâ and intimidate others with your debating skills?
Have you been known to set the tone or mood in a family or work team?
When youâre on a mission, can you be like a bull in a china shop?
Are you surprised when coworkers or family members donât read or use the map in front of their noses to get from here to there?
If you answered yes to most of these questions, youâre probably an I-type. You have a bone to pick with E-types, who you think are too sensitive and emotional. Now, Iâm not saying your heart is as cold as stone. Iâm just saying you trust your head over your heart, and you put your faith in logic.
If youâve been arguing in your head that you are both â or can be both, depending on the situation â then chances are you are a full-blown Instigator communicator.
It takes two to tango and two to get untangled. Blaming your partner kills off seeds of change that need to take root in order to bloom. I-types, both male and female, often are selected as the relationship leader. This is not to forget that E-types have the solutions to vexing relationship problems â ideally, a couple shares leadership power equally. Thus, when E-solutions are implemented by I-leaders, change happens. Where does your relationship fit on the spectrum of willingness to change?
Remember: You can change yourself. You canât change your partner. But you can together work to improve â or even save â your relationship.
