men are raised that way till they don't know how to address a women ?. Seriously are these country that introduced us the term of gentlemen's curtesy? Or it's just a myth?. Will you be seriously calling your mother or your sisters in a same manner that you call all the ladies out there?. You should be ashamed of yourself!. Maybe the fun types can totally understand you but I certainly don't like being called such way. Yes,i am not the fun type because my parents didn't raise me like that. My parents raised me in a way such even to hold my hand that guy needs to get permission from me and I certainly don't like to hear other ladies being called such too. A single word can be misleading and misunderstood. Choose your words wisely.

This is for anyone who loves someone so deep yet are too scared to say it, so all you can do is being a friend who is more than just grateful when getting a chance to spend some time with him/her, seeing their smiles, hearing their laugters, and listening to their stories. This is for anyone who loves someone so deep yet are not loved back so when you miss them so bad all you can do is looking at their picture and with teary eyes praying for their happiness. I know how it feels spending every night wondering where are you going to go with that feeling in your life. I know how it feels waking up each morning wondering does he/she love you or not. I know how it feels when your chest is so tight, the ego raging so bad in yourself that you are dying to have them as yours. I know how it feels when your body shakes you can’t help but crying accepting the fact that you are all alone when every second the only thing that crosses your mind is their smile. I know how it feels how spending those moments with them that feel close yet so far at the same time. I know how it feels how a simple “hi” from them means a world to you. I know how it feels when all of the songs you hear are all about them. I know how it feels wondering if you can ever have a day feeling free and light not having them in your mind. I know how it feels… I know how it feels… And I will tell you something, you are chosen to feel this because you were born to understand the deeper meaning of love, a love that is beyond possession and dimension. And you are not alone.

What is Emotional Abuse?

An emotionally abusive person may “dismiss your feelings and needs, expect you to perform humiliating or unpleasant tasks, manipulate you into feeling guilty for trivial things, belittle your outside support system or blame you for unfortunate circumstances in his or her life. Jealousy, possessiveness and mistrust characterize an emotionally abusive person”[1]. In summary, emotional abuse includes the following:

1. Acting as if a person has no value and worth; acting in ways that communicate that the person’s thoughts feelings and beliefs are stupid, don’t matter or should be ignored.

2. Calling the person names; putting them down; mocking, ridiculing, insulting or humiliating them, especially in public.

3. Controlling through fear and intimidation; coercing and terrorizing them; forcing them to witness violence or callousness; threatening to physically harm them, others they love, their animals or possessions; stalking them; threatening abandonment.

4. Isolating them from others, especially their friends and family; physically confining them; telling them how they should think, act, dress, what decisions they can make, who they can see and what they can do (limiting their freedom); controlling their financial affairs.

5. Using that person for your own advantage or gain; exploiting their rights; enticing or forcing another to behave in illegal ways (for example, selling drugs).

6. Stonewalling and ignoring another’s attempt to relate to and interact with them; deliberately emotionally detaching from a person in order to hurt them or “teach them a lesson”; refusing to communicate affection and warmth, or to meet their emotional and psychological needs.

Not the man of my dreams???

I was asking all the wrong questions of potential romantic partners. Do you like the same things I like? Will life with you be exciting? Will you surprise me? Those questions didn't matter. The things I needed were boring things like consistency, reliability, enthusiasm. We aren't taught to want these things, which is why it took me so long to realize that I was fundamentally and deeply incompatible with the man of my dreams. Which is why I let go of that man. If you see him, tell him I'm not interested. I'm looking for a solid dude.
