‘ what is his name ? ‘ the paper crumples again in thomas’s angry fist. the lack of signature frustrates him.

the cruel words aren’t new; they’ve been spat at him before in anger or hatred, but in the end he is the heir to the wayne fortune - or, one of them. there’s only so much you really want to say to a boy like that.

he should’ve expected that bruce would receive some of the treatment for their mutual strangeness. still, the anger curls in his chest like a curse.

Why did it feel as if uttering his name would be no better than signing away his life? Thomas could be vicious. It was admirable, yet it had earned Bruce’s caution. For that reason, he preferred to take care of his own problems. Until he couldn’t...

“Michael Oleander.” Then, it was time to turn them over to Thomas. In truth, he didn’t want to be homeschooled.

thomas leans down to pick the note up, eyes on bruce. it’s crumpled and wet with something that could be nothing but tears. he unfolds it carefully, the black ink it was written on staining his fingers. what … ?

he reads the words, not even noticing the way his teeth press down against each other. his mouth twists, fingernails almost digging into the paper as he makes out the scrawled words.

‘ who wrote this ? ‘

It was embarrassing to sit there silently as his brother read the torment he had been suffering. He should have done something about it himself, but there was no fight in him at school. He just wanted to be left alone. “No one. Just...” He sighed. “Some jerk at school...”

He flushed. “I….could. if you wanted me to. My plan…I was thinking of putting on the suit and sucking you.”

“I don’t see why you couldn’t do both,” he urged, smirking at his former ward.

“…yeah.” Sighs and then looks up hopefully. “Can I make this one up to you, B? Please?”

“By all means. What do you plan to do, behave for a full day?”

thomas was right - bruce is upset. he congratulates himself on his perceptive ability as the door swings open, seeing the other boy’s face stained red from what is probably tears.  he sits on the bed looking quite forlorn, small in the queen-size. thomas lets the door shut and suddenly feels out of his depth. he’s not awful when it comes to people, but his efforts are usually restricted to getting them to do what he wants.

are you okay ? is a stupid question. thomas opens his mouth with some hesitation. ‘ what happened ? ‘

“I think I should do school from home,” he decided as he tossed the offensive note at his wastebasket. It hit the edge of his desk and fell into the floor. No matter. Alfred would pick it up, or he would--if he felt like functioning later. For now, he felt like nothing more than existing. Bruce fidgeted with his uniform, feeling a little self-conscious since his tie was missing yet again. He hated it, being a victim.

Dear RPC,

Never be afraid to write about a subject because there are people in this world who can’t separate fiction from reality. Never be scared from your writing platform because people on here threaten to call you pro-rape (or a rapist) or pro-pedophilia (or a pedophile). Look at their hypocrisy. They never call people pro-murder (or a murderer) because they write a character who murders people. You never see anyone calling those who rp vigilantes pro-vigilantism or pro-violence. Don’t fear them. Roll your eyes at them and block them or laugh at them and continue to write your character as you see fit, every flaw included, discussed, and, hell, even played out on your blog. Don’t shy away from the worst aspects of your character because people are stupid or, bless them, mentally incapable of separating fiction from reality. That’s their problem. No matter what they call you, understand that the rest of us understand that they’re the person in the wrong.

I just had to say this because I see too many shying away from the darker side of rp, and only on tumblr. It didn’t used to be this way. Especially not in the DC rpc because DC comics get pretty damn dark. People weren’t afraid because of blog policing. It needs to stop.

You’re not doing anything illegal or immoral by writing about a subject (Just don’t do it irl. Obviously). You’re not hurting anyone. But those who write callout posts about subjects rped on a blog and send anon hate about it are fucking defaming people and harassing people.

Get your shit together tumblr rpc.

Thomas knows Bruce better than anyone else.

He knows that he knows him best because Mother and Father are dead and they are the last of the family that knew Bruce. He misses them desperately, of course, but really -

he likes to have Bruce all to himself.

Neither of them have really been themselves for years, since the alleyway, so much so that who they were is most likely lost forever. Days spent kept inside the huge house aren’t unusual, for either of them, but Thomas has seen Bruce so little the past week that he’s beginning to forget he has a brother.

No, that’s silly. He would never forget about Bruce. Family.

Thomas has seen Bruce so little that he’s begun to miss him, even caught up in the social life of the private school he attends. It’s not for the first time that he seeks out his brother in the mansion, rapping confidently on the door.

Children can be cruel. Especially those at the cusp of teenagehood, when the hormones are just beginning to cause their infamous frustrations. Lately, Bruce has been the target of those cruelties, and it has taken a toll on him. When he hears a knock on his door, he wipes the angry tears from his eyes and crumples up a note from a bully at school who finds poking at his still raw wound of his parents’ deaths more amusing than he finds stealing his uniform tie. 

“Come in...” The door isn’t locked. If Thomas wants in his room, no lock will stop him anyway.

“You mean ‘mainly pieces’ of it.” he smirks as he lets one hand travel down his chest, teasing his pecs before they reach for the bottom of his top. It only takes a bit of shimmying before he strips the man of his top. 

“A mission, you say?” Dick lets the man spread him; he always has. As far back as he could remember the man spread him and the very act itself could arouse him on the worst of days. “I’m all ears, Batman, Sir.” Dick has long outgrown the Robin title, but who doesn’t love to play once in a while? He’s never once regretted crawling into the mans bed, as Robin or Nightwing. 

The shirt came away with some awkward shifting of Dick’s weight from one hand to the other, but, when it was gone, the skin-to-skin contact made it worthwhile. “I need you to relieve the effect of your utility belt before Alfred serves breakfast. It’s of the utmost importance.”

His tongue greets him, twisting to accommodate the man’s angle. Their words stifled, tongues busy, Dick shivers and hugs their bodies flush tight against one another. 

One hand around him, Dick tightens his legs around him, the other hand leaving him for a fleeting moment to toss the belt over the door knob where it clanks against the door and jingles softly, the weight heavy for what it is. He grins brightly and hums against him. One hand on his jaw, caressing the man’s stubble he kisses him deeper, nosing at him. “Some one’s awake today…” he mutters. “Feeling energetic?” 

“You know what that costume does to me, even only a piece of it.” Objectively, it was a silly costume, but the memories attached to it lit a fire in his lower abdomen. Memories of this particular Robin teasing him to an end that involved a crime Bruce never regretted committing. Because he loved him.

Hands on Dick’s rear, he spread him through his sweats, fingers teasing down his cleft. “I have a mission for you, Robin.”

There it is again. That possessive bat. “Mnn-” He kisses him as he’s lifted, his legs circling around him. “-And what is this Gotham going to do with three bats up and about? The criminals are going to gather up and become the exterminators.” He chuckles and kisses him again, one heel nudging the bat’s rear. 

Dick knows the man is possessive, feels it in his grip, his gaze, in his breath just as much as any given movement the man does. – -But Dick loves it. Lives for it. Thrives. Dickie got his cocky behavior somewhere. 

He wanted to tell him that Nightwing could be as renowned of a detective as Batman, that the cowl would never suit him, but he was more interested in tasting him. His head tilted to better access the inside of Dick’s mouth, tongue twisting to caress and lure the other muscle into his mouth. Bruce released one end of the belt to wrap an arm around his waist, then tossed the strip of black with a bright yellow buckle over the doorknob. Then, his hands were on him, supporting him, squeezing him.

“You love the weight; tossing us around.” he cooes at the other; damn- he wasn’t distracting enough today to get the man to forget his fingers against him. The belt comes away, sliding over his rear before cupping the bottoms of his arse. Against the bat, Dick chuckles and hums, hands on the other’s solid chest. “I don’t have the slightest where you think it’s gone~” 

“Mn. And you’re supposed to carry on my legacy as a detective.” Using the belt, Bruce lifted him upward and closer, like a grip on his ass urging him to wrap his legs around him. Their lips came together, and he kissed his first Robin with the possessiveness of a jealous man.
