The mechanic seized a moment when Batman’s guard was down to place a sleeping-gas pellet into the Batmobile’s ventilation duct. As Batman drove away from the city, the mechanic remotely activated the ventilation system, and the gas quickly filled the vehicle. Batman managed to bring the car to a halt, but his lungs were already saturated with the toxin, causing him to collapse almost immediately. Seconds later, the mechanic—who had been tailing him closely—wasted no time and abducted Batman in a flash. When the weakened hero awoke, he didn't even know where he was. The mechanic was obsessed with Batman, and now the hero was in his clutches, ready to satisfy his fantasies; Batman now belonged to him.

Joker (working with/for Catwoman) tries to convince Batman & Robin that he’s turned over a new leaf, and the 1st step to his rehabilitation is shaking their hands in friendship.

Robin is immediately skeptical, but Batman convinces his junior partner to give Joker a chance. As both heroes clasp Joker’s hands, the hidden “Lethal Joy Buzzers” deliver massive jolts of energy to them both.

The Dynamic Duo’s bodies are rocked immediately and begin shaking & quivering. Joker holding onto their hands is the only thing keeping Batman & Robin up on their feet. As he lets go of the crimefighters, they tumble backward as their “five senses are taken away one by one”. The helpless heroes spasm out of control on the floor as Joker looks on gleefully!

Note: This is one of my favorite scenes from the Batman 66 series. There’s something incredibly hot about seeing the D Duo lose control of themselves after Joker tricks them. I’ve posted this scene before, but I’ve made some new GIFs using a 4K upscale of the Blu-ray. I may make another post of random closeups / crops.
