She placed her hand on the girl’s shoulder.

“I know it’s not easy, and you’re still young. But, if I learned anything throughout the years, is that you have to keep fighting. Never let fear take a hold of you.” She gave her a small, comforting smile.

Steph couldn’t believe what was written on that paper. Her grades had gone up like never before, and that meant she’d get a nice pat on the back from the Big Bat.

“Thank you so much, Mr. Pierce! I’ll keep working hard for sure.” She gave him a big grin.

She scoffed at Tim’s remark.

“If only I had the time to stop and read something... Coffee would be very much welcome right now, though.”

She took a peek at him. The few rays of sunlight that were able to get through the morning fog hit them, warmly. Steph wanted to get closer, she felt things between the two of them hadn’t gone back to normal yet.

They stood comfortably quiet for a minute, until she sat down next to him, in a relaxed position.

“I think I’ll hang out a bit more. Plus, since you mentioned caffeine I seriously can’t get my mind off of it.”

“Batman!” He said from the distance. “What brings you to my neck of the woods, New York Cit– Oh shit. You’re not Batman. Clearly. I’m so sorry!” He said as he got close enough and had landed. Well now he felt bad.

“Did you seriously see my long, blonde hair and call me Batman?”, Steph said, turning to the agile red and blue figure, now in front of her. “How come that happens so often anyway?!”, she whispered to herself.

She focused back on him and rested her hands on her hips.

“I’m on a lookout mission. Big Bat suspects few criminals from Gotham might be hiding somewhere around here. And if they are, they’re up to no good.” She said, now with her eyes fixated on the city.

Suddenly, she looked up at him with suspicion, crossing her arms. “Why am I telling you all this? I don’t even know who you are.”

like as much as i love icons and a good psd, sometimes its just tasking to do. and not everyone has great resources. so if you’re okay with having threads with no icons, please reblog this so that people know you’re okay with it. i feel like roleplayers today are too focused on the aesthetics and won’t follow people who use base icons or even none at all. it’s not about icons, but about the writing !!
