Much has been said about Alastor and Rosie's dynamic in S2 and I'm loving all of it. And something I caught just now is the way Alastor asks for his staff to be fixed the first time vs in the finale.

Just before their song, Alastor comes visit Rosie all charming and silly, he's really playing the part of a good boy until he complains about her part of the deal and ends up demanding his stuff to be fixed

He is towering her, demanding, he's prideful. Rosie of course wouldn't flinch, she has the end of the leash after all.

But after the humiliation ritual Alastor had to endure in order to get free of his contracts. Even when he could get the upper hand he might have, he actually remembers who he was talking to...

An honest woman, always there to lend an ear.

And so he makes his proposal, quid pro quo now they are on equal terms, and this time he doesn't demands, he actually asks.... And with a bow!

He actually bows to ask for this favor in the exchange, and Rosie of course, has dealt with him fairly, been patient, its true. He is asking nicely, like a good boy, fairly. He also figured it out on his own, so....
