Hello tumblr who I have abandoned. I got a pair of O. p. coxi babies recently and they're beautiful and perfect and I love them.

Now I need to go browse Stargate names to find some good fits.

Hey by the way my isopods are the cutest. These are  Oniscus asellus “Mardi Gras.” The cutest black/white morph isopod imo, and the flashes of yellow are fabulous.

Checking in on my isopod colonies and I can't find ANYTHING. Maybe one or two in each, but lots of springtails and these mite things. Then I read online to see what I've done wrong and learn that some mites can cause a colony to crash entirely.

Yay great. Now do I wait and see if they're just in a lull or start everything from scratch? Ugh

Finally get my AP cages set up and one of the heat panels isn't working....

... which I only discover AFTER I drilled it to the top of the cage of course

OK BUT I've got this whole aesthetic planned out for my reptile room. When I'm done it's going to be so sleek and stylish. It's already well organized, but my organizey things are kind of tacky and bleh looking, I want to add some style to this joint.

And like 90% of the idea involves a trip to Ikea lmao
