«That resurrection must have been eating your brain cells, my friend. For the last time: The brothers, Hope and I are working TOGETHER. Besides, I stand with the woman I love. No one else.» He cared about Wyatt. He would always care, but if it came down to it he would not hesitate to put his girlfriend first. This time Jace simply could not help himself: He burst into full blown LAUGHTER and he needed a moment to pull it back together. «So you honestly believe your niece answers to anybody other than herself?» That was too funny. «I don’t care if they have a use for it. Teaching you my version of the spell is DANGEROUS and frankly, you are not exactly motivating me to change my mind.»
Henrik’s fists tightened. “You don’t have the right to speak about my Mother. You’re not my family. You don’t know her.” He stated in a rising tone. He didn’t understand why his Mother had done the things she had--but the women he knew her as was all that came to mind when he thought of her before his thoughts drifted to the darker truths.
“Working together? You really think that’s going to last? Chris, yeah, he could get along with others. Wyatt? He’s got a need to demonstrate his power that reminds me of what Kol showed me about Niklaus.” He stated. “Love? Hope? Wow, yeah that won’t go over well with Niklaus at all...” He muttered. Nik had barely had the tolerance for him to mention Hope’s name in certain context.
“I don’t know Hope enough to know what she would or wouldn’t do!” He stated. “And I don’t care if it is dangerous! The entire world is dangerous! I think you’re just afraid someone might be able to put it to better use than you are.” He said before his gaze narrowed and he boldly stepped one foot forward again. “And what if I do step towards you? You claim you love Hope, at least from what I can gather? She seemed interested in getting to know her Uncle.... don’t know how she’d take you doing something because he ‘stepped’ towards you.” He mouthed off. At that moment, he was tired of feeling inferior to everyone he spoke to.
