“I made it myself!” she chirped, holding out the decorated pink box. Opening the flap she revealed a Valentine’s Day chocolate. It could have just been the light, but the sugary concoction seemed to bubble under further scrutiny.
She couldn’t take two steps without walking face first into pink and glitter. There were hearts as far as the eye could see, and chocolates in every shape and size. “What is all this?” she asked, taking a fuzzy pink teddy bear off a shelf. “We never celebrated it in Transylvania.”
