Always searching the beach for either shells and sea glass, favorite hobby/activity for over a decade. Specifically searching after high tides for interesting treasures

Aqua sea glass is considered a rare color, estimated to appear about once in every 100 to 200 pieces of standard sea glass found.

Pale or light aqua is somewhat uncommon-to-rare, while deeply saturated, bright aqua or dark turquoise shades are significantly scarcer and highly coveted by collectors.

I sure couldn’t believe on this find on Summer solstice/Father’s Day, quite a size of uranium sea glass and testing it at night 💚💚💚

This type of glass is called pirate glass, looking so much like black, but as soon as you face it directly at the sun, then it helps you reveal what color it really is.

My very first marble found exactly a decade ago this month. I was so shocked, especially since this is one of the rarest colors on top of that. Sure brings good luck too ❤️❤️❤️

Both of my bottle stoppers and my favorite color aqua green.

Bottle stoppers are considered very rare and prized finds for beachcombers, often described as "ever-elusive" treasures. While some collectors may find one or two a year, many never find one at all.

Historical Age: Most found glass bottle stoppers are at least 100 years old, dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century, before plastic and crown caps replaced them.Origin: They typically come from old perfume, medicine, poison, or sauce bottles (such as Lea & Perrins)

This color is mostly common in the Coca-cola bottles, but when looked under neath, then I thought this can’t be it. Sure enough, I sent it to Google, then the results came right away 🩵🩵🩵

I can definitely recognize the shade, how different it looked compared with the rocks. A beautiful and big gray piece.

Gray sea glass is an exceptionally rare find that typically originates from antique items such as cathode ray tube television sets, vintage medicine or seltzer bottles, industrial insulators, and smoked glassware from the 20th century.

Most of all my lavender pieces together, after sitting in the sun for a long period of time, it slowly helps increase the color.

Sun-Colored Amethyst (Most Common Type): Most purple sea glass was originally clear glass manufactured between roughly 1880 and 1915, which contained manganese. Over decades, UV rays from the sun cause this manganese to oxidize, turning the glass into shades of lavender or light purple.

I sure couldn’t believe on this find, strolling down the beach, then it immediately caught my eye.

They most of the time come in much smaller sizes, but this one, thinking to myself “it has to be uranium glass” based on the color and sure enough, it does glow under UV light, absolutely rare to find too 💚💚💚

Before and after, my rare finds of uranium sea glass, it is pretty rare to find at the beach. They can most likely come in a very light lime color or light turquoise. I always like to test it out with my UV light once it gets darker at evening.

A close look at my favorite shades of sea glass and displayed in white sand, searching for them as rare as they can be, but still enjoyable.

Turquoise: The vibrant, saturated blue-green pieces. This is one of the rarest colors of blue sea glass, with some estimates suggesting it appears in only 1 out of every 4,000 to 6,000 pieces found.

Aqua Blue: Bright, light blue pieces. These typically come from early 20th-century fruit jars, insulators, or medicine bottles.

Teal/Teal Green: The deeper, rich blue-green pieces. Teal is considered an extremely rare color, often coming from older utilitarian bottles like Mateus wine bottles.
