I kind of dropped off the face of the planet while in the process of moving and settling into a new apartment. So finally I started drawing again. As per the norm for me I go from rough to quite detailed. But yay for arting again!!

I recently started a 30 day art challenge. The results are a bit hit or miss, but I guess that is why it's a challenge.

Life is full of interesting characters. It helps to remember you are one of those interesting characters, we all are. 👍🏻🙂

From beginning to end. Art is a crazy thing. To make those first few lines in hopes that they will actually turn into something is like a small miracle. It is wonderful to watch and scary at the same time. In an hour and a half I went from a few lines to a what I think is a very good drawing.

I've been trying to learn how to draw for a few years now. I know I'll never be great but that is okay. Do you know why? Because the best thing about drawing is getting to see a bunch of lines magically turn into a picture. Every time I draw I get to see this crazy magical thing happen. When they are really good like these I just have a sense of awe. And amazement that I just made that. I don't care that other people might make better pictures. All I care about is that I got to see the magic of a drawing starting from nothing and becoming the images you see above. That is why I'll always draw, even if I never become great.
