So I finished watching a play through of deltarune chapter 5, and by the end the streamer who played it watched a video of the deltarune chapter 5 weird route. And I usually keep any involving deltarune weird route as FAR away from me as possible. Cause I already got a taste of THAT in the genocide route in undertale back in the day. But today I was curious.

So. With limited knowledge about anything about the weird route aside from snowgrave, I watched the video…. And JEEZ LOUISE TOBY FOX, WHAT THE HELL!? AND I THOUGHT THE ENDING OF CHAPTER 5 WAS ALREADY DEPRESSING. I felt so much dread watching that, holy shit. My chest felt like someone had filled it with lead.

Gooseworx didn't deactivate, she was banned

Recently, you cannot access Gooseworx's blog anymore, and people thought she deactivated her Tumblr. However, she was actually banned. When someone deactivates their main blog, a string of numbers and letters is attached to their username: "-deactivated[year][month][day]"

When you look at posts made by Gooseworx, there's no "deactivated" and no numbers

Some speculate that this might have been a sideblog, since there's no "deactivated" string if you delete a sideblog, but it was her main blog. You can't use sideblogs to like posts. If you search "Gooseworx liked this" on google, you will find proof ithat she liked multiple Tumblr posts.

All of this adds up to one thing: Gooseworx was banned from Tumblr. And why? Gooseworx is a trans woman, and Tumblr staff hates trans women and bans them for no reason, and also, there is an ongoing harassment campaign against Gooseworx, so I bet they must have mass-reported her blog and gotten her banned. Fuck the "tadc critical" community, anyone in the "anti tadc" or "anti gooseworx" tags is NOT to be trusted!!!!!! They weaponized staff's transmisogyny to ban a successful trans woman off the platform all because the show didn't end the way they wanted it to.

So. Technically during the events of ep 8, both Jax and ragatha were being tortured by the reminders of their moms.

Ragatha is obvious, what with the shadow of her mother looming over her, but Jax’s is a lot more subtle, since we hadn’t known there was one laugh Jax was being reminded of in that moment. It also makes sense with this knowledge why Jax had looked so small when her skin had been peeled off, holding onto her arms after trying in vain to cover herself up, to hide from the laughter.

Oh. This HUUUUUUURRRRRRTS. Both Jax and ragatha both having mommy issues/being abused without knowing. Having these two talk to each other could have had the potential to save EVERYTHING. Not fix, but greatly help lift the burden on each other’s shoulders. they would finally have someone to talk to that understands what they had gone through. Oh my god. What could have been.

Jax had a manipulative mom that took her anger out on her cause Jax reminded her of her father, no matter what she did. She couldn’t act the correct way. Maybe that’s why Jax dissociates so much. It’s the only way for her to mentally check out of the situation, be it being yelled at by her parents, or tuning out them arguing with each other before the divorce.

And ragatha had a mother who was manipulative to her cause her mother wanted ragatha to be the perfect daughter, but no matter what she did, her mother was never satisfied. Ragatha’s mother wanted a perfect daughter, an unattainable goal, and Jax’s mom wanted the perfect son that both didn’t act like her ex husband, but didn’t act weak like a little girl, cause she didn’t raise a little girl, she raised a man. She was never satisfied with how Jax acted, and she probably never would.

Jax was made to look like a bunny, cause bunnies are easily frightened and flee the next time they get, and ragatha was made to look like a doll cause she had felt like she needed to be perfect all her life, and never felt like she could make her own choices. Always at the mercy of someone else.

I’m very normal about this information :)

Jax being conditioned to think that acting like a girl makes her look weak, especially in the eyes of their father. Who had very likely told her this multiple times before or after the divorce. Which can very easily stick with someone for life.

It’s no wonder Jax bullied gangle as much as she did. She saw too much of her past self in her, and didn’t like what she saw. Especially when you think about how how Ragatha acts unintentionally sets her off. cause the gentle way the doll acts reminds Jax far too much of her mom before she became abusive and manipulative. So I feel like Jax never felt comfortable around ragatha because of this, even though we as the audience knows ragatha is actually trying to be genuine, but Jax doesn’t trust that. Cause she has trusted the comfort of a gentle voice once, only for it to turn into a knife when she didn’t act the way her mother wanted her to.
