So, I'm working on fake dialogue portraits for various legends, and a thought hit me: I've seen some people draw Caspian with freckles under his mask, and I think it's super cute. I don't personally tend to draw them because I tend to forget that kind of thing unless I'm looking at a reference. While they are not present on any of his skins, I still think it's a really cute idea, but what do y'all think of the idea?

Byrd Noelle Ricksmann was never intended to be a fighter, or even anything other than ‘ordinary’ for that matter. They grew up in a mundane world with mundane happenings, that is, until people started mysteriously turning up dead of unknown causes. At the young age of 17, Byrd quickly took up arms against the new and otherworldly threat. Quickly, he earned the title ‘The Burning Heart’, for his fierce determination and fiery loyalty. As the threat grew, so did Byrd’s prowess on the battlefield. At the age of 26, Byrd won the Battle of Fort Iron almost single handedly against a combined hoard of vampires and traitor-humans, and at 30, rallied together almost the entirety of North America to march against the Army of Vampires. Yet, as all things do, Byrd’s career came to a grim close at the Siege of London, when they were killed defending a friend. In Valhalla, they see the Grand Tournament as a chance to test their skills in terms of physical prowess, especially against Vraxx. Outside of the tournament they made quick work of getting incredibly close to Caspian, much to the surprise and dismay of many. If Byrd isn't helping Caspian with one of his theatrical heists, they're ‘taste-testing’ weird plants with Jaeyun or debating with Loki.

Headcanon Time!

Both the Royal Batavian Family and the Order of the Exalted Lion use a lion as their crest, but they're very stylistically different.

The OEL uses silver colours because of how silver is traditionally harmful to evil beings, whereas the royal family uses gold as a symbol of wealth and because of their ties to said evil.

The Batavian Royal Family's lion has a much messier mane and is roaring in reference to the nation's history of war-mongering and conquering. (Bonus hc: the Roman Empire and Kingdom of Batavia constantly went head-to-head)

But the OEL has a smoother, more placid lion representing how they were supposed to be protectors, not aggresors.
