Or what about the production time lost that I have to do someone else's job the hard way with a deadline so close. The binder machine is down that cuts and binds the books so now I'm cutting 2500 books and they aren't all lined up perfectly but they're folded and I have to cut the folds. This is a crap show waiting to happen.

Another thing I want for Tomodachi Life is the ability for time to pass without my consideration. I should be able to log back on after months and see all kinds of things changed, if I gave a Mii money, they add stuff to the island. If I didn't introduce two miis, they should be allowed to do so. Two should be allowed to get in a relationship, change hairstyle, etc, without asking. I like the consent system but I should also be allowed to turn it off. I've gone back to my Animal Crossing worlds just for some of my villagers to have moved but still not much changes.

I keep getting told that production is of the highest value. Effiency over quality- until something isn't right, so I take my time and make sure it's right because it'll come back to me anyway and make me less efficient having to do it again. Saves time in the long run. Stupid philosophy. But I had to cut these calendars way back and he told me to leave a 1/16 of an inch extra on all sides, then yesterday he gives them all back to me to cut off the 1/16 from all sides. That took almost my whole day because of how many there were and that's efficient? I get it's so it'll go into the flattening machine better but like- think some more. I get a lot of those jobs where he tells me to cut, basically to cut off where the lines are and then cut the rest off again so I have to refigure out where all the lines were, making my job so much needlessly harder.

Then I get jobs like these wedding invitations for someone who worked there (someone higher up) so I had to abandon everything I was doing because he decided he wanted to take it home that night, even though the due date on the paper was in two more days. I get so much stuff that's due like "now" but I only ever get it "now" I never got it yesterday or any other day, it's always a sudden rush.

One part of kingdom hearts I find fascinating that I don't see get talked to often is the way that Keyblades and key culture is a dying art. A giant culture with philosophies and martial artistry and uniforms and this extensive history just slowly got whittled down until there were maybe four masters left and only a handful of students. The second keyblade war could barely count as a blip in the grand scheme of how many keybearers there used to be. Xehanort's desperation to not let go of the past as one of the last traditionally trained masters, the revival of the art by the novice who was never supposed to wield the weapon in the first place, the lonely state of keyblade mastery as a whole... It's very poignant just how much was lost that a culture that once filled an entire planet can now all be accounted for in one room

I was telling my girlfriend that I know some cutters have lasers on them so you can see exactly where you're cutting and she said "yours does" and proceeded to tell me where it was. It's kind of crazy to me that my printing shop just ran out of heavy glue, so now they need to order more and we can't finish all our jobs. Like, why not have more than one can of glue at a time?? It's like saying the hospital ran out of gowns- oh wait. That happened too...
