(There’s a party at Dai Shi’s old palace. Virgie enters Jarrod’s private quarters to find him sitting on his throne) 

Virgie: Jarrod. It's a graveyard out there, and all the guests wanna meet the new guy in charge. 

Jarrod: Look, Virg, I, I, I have things. I'm busy. I'm brooding. 

(Virgie turns to see the television is on) 

Virgie: You're watching hockey! 

Jarrod: …Yeah, but my team is losing!

Jarrod: Uh… I dunno.

Camille: Men like sports, I’m sure of it!

Jarrod: Yes, Men like sports. They watch the action movie. They eat of the beef and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of attacking our kind and that’s all you’ve learned?

Imagine the Dino Thunder team having to fight evil Jarrod/Dai Shi, and Conner's insisting he doesn't need help.

Virgie: *watching the fight with popcorn* Ah, I remember when I was that angry. *watches fondly as Conner gets tossed somewhere*

So I know I’m somewhat biased but my take on this is:

Straight martial arts/hand to hand fighting: Jarrod wins easy, whether he’s possessed or not.

A morphed-up, good vs evil, if they lose the world suffers fight: Jarrod/Dai Shi would probably thwomp for a while, but then this would lead to one of Conner’s now patented “He gets so pissed he unlocks a new power-up mode” moments. ™️

Fun Fact: It really bugs Conner that you can play as me but not as him. 😏

RJ was trying to decide whether to stop them or make the popcorn.

Jarrod sees the line of challengers approaching and cracks his knuckles. He looked back at Virgie and RJ.

“Get popping.”

"Kids," Virgie joked as she followed Jarrod into the dining area. "Need some help? Anyway, I hope you like the Keurig. I figured with one of those things you'd feel like you were having coffee or hot chocolate in style."

AJ, meanwhile, just blinks at Conner. "I don't get it. Are games better when you're naked?"

From the dining area, Virgie yells, "No! And if anyone asks you to do it, I'll kill them!"

“Thank you, I will” Jarrod said, “I complained a lot about things at the Pai Zhua academy,” he said somewhat regretfully, “but I still stand by my complaint that they should have provided us coffee.”

Out in the living space, Conner said “Well no, it makes no difference if I’m naked, but as for y-” at this point a pillow hit him.

“Thank you for coming,” Jarrod said as he opened the door for her. “So far it’s just us, Conner, and a bunch of women he invited, and he’s insistent on playing Twister.”

"Oh thanks." Virgie's just going to grin at him and head through the door. "I think we should just watch him try and convince them all to play Twister with him. I don't know what they see in him anyway.

"By the way, bonus if you convince him to spar with him and you punt him a few feet. Don't hurt him or anything, I just want to see him go flying. For no particular reason."

Jarrod chuckled. “I probably shouldn’t, I wouldn’t want to knock over any furniture or something.”

Conner fumbled into the room. “Alright, noe how about we make it interesting and turn it into Strip Twister. Anybody?”

Jarrod looked back at Virgie “Honestly just watching him might be entertainment enough. Should I get the popcorn?”

"I guess one of us has to be the voice of reason," Virgie drawled, chuckling. "But yes, do that."

Behind them, AJ came in with a boxed Keurig and two canvas bags filled to the brim. "Virgie and me got you a Keurig! So you can have coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider, and all sorts of stuff!"

"Er, maybe cover AJ's eyes if he starts stripping," Virgie joked.

“Thank you, that’s very thoughtful.” Jarrod said as he took the Keurig. He turned to the left.

“Conner, why don’t we just start with pictionary?”

Conner opened his mouth “how about-”

“Not Strip Pictionary. Now I’ll just drop this off and get the snacks,” Jarrod said as he took the Keurig to the dining quarters.

Jarrod turns and watches the person fly by.

He grabs another and tosses them like a football.

“Mine went farther,” he says smugly.

"Heh, that's pretty impressive. I'm not jealous, though. I just like punting things that deserve it."

“Not jealous hm?” Jarrod said with an eyebrow raised. “Let’s see who can hit that stop sogn over there first!”

"FORE!"

Jarrod turns and watches the person fly by.

He grabs another and tosses them like a football.

“Mine went farther,” he says smugly.

Jarrod took a deep breath and walked into the ruins of Dai Shi’s temple. He lifted and shoved a fallen pillar out of the way.

So much had happened here. But he figured a coffee table, some throw rugs and a cushion cover for the throne was all it needed.

“Home sweet home.”

"Hey, where do you want these?" AJ had actually brought him a large rug, which she'd rolled over and tossed over one shoulder. In her other hand, she was holding a box of various household items.

"Are you gonna get a couch? Because I'm pretty sure I could call a friend to help me bring one for you."

“It depends,” Jarrod answered. “I’m gonna put the TV on the right wall. And I’ve never tried, but if I can pivot the throne to face that wall I might not need one.”

"I'm sure you could," AJ replied. She's just going to let the rug roll off her shoulder and plop down before putting down the box. "That's better. But really, what if you have guests? Though I guess I could bring my own chair everywhere like RJ does."

Jarrod stopped. “I… I’m not anticipating many visitors.” He looked solemnly at the floor.

"Well, I'm going to visit you. I think you're cool. And don't give me that speech about all the bad stuff in your past-I don't care about that part. You're my friend and I like you. My friend Virgie's the same way-she thinks people won't like her because of some bad stuff that wasn't her fault. Sometimes people still don't, and they're wrong. I should introduce you. She's nice, but a little prickly-porcupine animal spirit and all." She grinned.
