 🔪 * ALLY.

ally  didn’t  want  tamora  to  hide  her  pain.        she  was  attacked  by  some  animal  and  it  was  clearly  getting  to  her     ;      she  didn’t  want  her  to  deal  with  that  alone.       she  wanted  her  to  recover  and  grow  and  to  be  right  beside  her  as  it  happened.        this  seemed  like  the  first  step  in  the  right  direction.        this  was  the  first  time  she  was  actually  getting  tamora  to  TALK  about  what  happened.        while  she  was  nervous  to  hear  her  story,     it  was  easy  for  her  to  set  that  aside.        she  had  to  focus  on  HELPING.       it  was  what  she  always  aimed  to  do.        her  hand  came  over  to  rest  on  top  of  the  back  of  tamora’s  gently,     keeping  her  hand  held  in  between  ally’s  two.        focused,     slow  nods  were  given  at  the  first  phrase  she  spoke.         ❝    you  did,    ❞     she  whispered.         she  remembered  well.  her  head  canted  as  her  girlfriend  continued,     a  slow  breath  being  drawn  in  to  keep  herself  steady.         but  the  one  word  she  spoke  caught  her    —–    SUPERNATURAL.         eyes  shut  instantly  and  her  head  gave  the  subtlest  of  shakes,     lips  parting  to  speak  but  no  sound  coming  out.        she  gave  tamora’s  hand  a  small  squeeze,     opening  her  eyes  quickly.       ❝    i    —–    uh…    ❞       she  began,     keeping  the  confused  expression  on  her  face.        ❝    no,     i  can’t  say  that  i  do,    ❞     she  spoke  quietly.       but  still,     it  took  tamora  a  long  time  to  get  to  even  this  point.       she  couldn’t  shut  it  down.        ❝    baby,     what  does  that  have  to  do  with  your  ANIMAL  attack?       what  are  you  talking  about?    ❞

A  WILD  BEAR.       the  words  rang  through  her  head  constantly,       always  missing  so  many  pieces.       it  was  bigger,     faster,     STRONGER  than  just  a  bear.      but  why  would  the  sheriff  LIE  to  her?      the  police  are  supposed  to  PROTECT  their  citizens,       not  lie  to  them    -----      it  was  what  she  kept  reminding  herself  every  time  her  thoughts  strayed  too  far.       but  even  as  she  tried  to  convince  herself  it  was  all  in  her  head,     it  only  ever  felt  MORE  REAL.         SHE  WASN’T  CRAZY,       even  if  the  sheriff  was  trying  to  make  her  out  to  believe  it.        she  wouldn’t  fall  for  that.       it  was  no  bear  that  had  slashed  her  body  and  killed  all  those  innocent  people  around  her.         but  if  the  police  were  lying  to  her,      how  could  she  ever  expect  the  woman  she  was  in  love  with  to  believe  it?       WOULD  SHE  BELIEVE  IT,    on  the  other  side?       she  held  her  breath  as  her  hand  moved  over  hers,     reminding  herself  that  ally  wasn’t  here  to  hurt  her,      she  was  here  to  try  to  understand.       the  moment  she  saw  her  head  shake,     though,      she  had  to  look  away.     this  was  going  to  be   difficult.      and  with  how  fragile  she  felt,     she  worried  she  may  not  have  the  motivation  she  needed  to  CONVINCE  her.       ❝   it  doesn’t,   ❞        she  finally  spoke,     eyes  drifting  back  to  hers.       ❝   because  it  wasn’t  an  animal  attack.    ❞       she  gulped,      eyes  looking  at  hers  DESPERATELY  for  her  to  understand.       ❝     al,     you  didn’t  see  what  i  saw.        that  was  no  bear.      no  animal  can  move  the  way  that  thing  did.     ❞

eyes  met  hers  and  his  head  tilted  curiously.       her  first  name.       no  authority.        he  understood  what  she  was  doing    —–     creating  relatability  and  TRUST,     but  a  name  was  important.       how  could  she  expect  to  lead  an  army  with  no  identifier  as  their  leader?        it  left  too  much  room  for  questions.        theo  wanted  to  tell  her  that  she  could  have  both  leadership  and  to  remain  personable,     but  he  was  not  an  ally.        he  would  encourage  any  mistake.         ❝    tamora,    ❞     he  repeated,     giving  a  single  nod  and  a  small  grin.        ❝    i  like  that.    ❞        brows  rose  when  she  mentioned  who  she  had  seen  him  with,     letting  out  a  sigh  and  shaking  his  head.        ❝    i  just    —–    really  had  no  idea  what  they  were.        i  think  that’s  the  scariest  part  about  it.        it  could  be  ANYONE.        even  people  we  knew  as  kids  becoming…     MONSTERS.        it  makes  me  wonder  what  else  i’m  missing.        but  whatever  it  is,      i’m  ready  to  learn,    ❞     he  insisted  with  several  nods,     wanting  to  give  her  the  impression  that  he  was  PREPARED  to  jump  into  all  of  this.        he  had  to  make  himself  ready  enough  to  get  closer  to  HER  to  see  what  he  needed  to  do  to  tear  them  down.       tamora  truly  thought  she  was  keeping  people  safe.       perhaps  she  was.       with  people  like  theo,     the  humans  he  was  going  to  be  putting  himself  around  were  certainly  not  safe,     so  he  couldn’t  argue  with  those  claims.       but  this  just  fueled  his  desire  to  take  her  down.       their  safety  meant  his  downfall  and  he  wasn’t  experiencing  another  one  of  those.       ❝    i  know.       that’s  why  i  WANT  to  be  here.        i  want  everyone  to  be  safe  too.       i  just    —–    need  to  learn  how  to  do  that.        i  need  to  learn  what  you  know,    ❞     he  shrugged.        his  head  nodded  slowly  as  she  spoke,     tilting  with  intrigue.        ❝    oh,     i  understand  that.        trust  me,     i  do,     they  look  as  human  as  you  and  me  until  their  eyes  change  color  and  they  turn  into  HALF-ANIMALS.        i  can  understand  why  they’re  dangerous  and  why  everyone  is  afraid  of  them.        but    —–    all  of  them?        are  they  ALL  threats?    ❞     he  asked.        ❝    i  mean…     i  was  around  scott  and  all  his  friends  for  a  while  and  they    —–    they  never  hurt  me.    ❞        that  was  lie.        they  certainly  had,     but  he  was  curious  about  her  mindset.       he  needed  to  learn  EVERYTHING  about  her  that  he  could.

leading  this  revolution  was  never  her  plan;      AIDING  in  it  was.       this  wasn’t  about  the  power  trip  that  came  with  leading  it,      only  her  insistence  on  BEING  A  PROTECTOR.      most  of  her  students  knew  her  as  ms.  monroe,      as  someone  of  authority     (    it  would  work  in  her  favor  when  she  needed  to  encourage  them  to  do  what  it  took  to  survive.    )       but  the  citizens  of  beacon  hills,      she  often  introduced  herself  by  first  name.      it  was  what  they  needed.     they  have  been  LIED  to  by  their  neighbors,      by  corrupt  cops    ——-     and  they  needed  a  voice  amongst  them,      someone  they  could  relate  to     (     that  was  HER.    )       through  it  all,      she  was  still  their  equal.     her  compassion  would  spread  through  them  all  as  she  told  them  what  their  plans  were.       ❝  yes,   ❞     she  responded  with  a  small,    warm  smile  on  her  lips,    one  that  read   ‘  i’m  here  for  you.    ‘       ❝   that’s  what’s  really  so  sad  about  this  town.      no  one  really  knows  anyone.    ❞       IT  WAS  IRONIC,     given  who  she  was  sitting  across  from.        ❝    they’ve  lied  to  us.     and  they’ve  manipulated  the  authorities  of  this  town  to  lie  to  us  too,      but  we  won’t  stand  for  it  anymore.       but  just  because  sheriff  stilinski  has  forced  his  deputies  into  corruption  doesn’t  mean  we  have  to  accept  that,      neither  do  i.     we’re  fighting  back  against  everyone,   ❞       she  assured.     she  closed  her  eyes,     head  shaking  slowly.       ❝   they’re  not  kids.      don’t  look  at  them  that  way.      ❞          they  had  no  humanity  in  her  eyes.         ❝   those  kids  DIED  whenever  they  became  this  awful  thing   ——-     we  have  to  put  their  souls  out  of  that  misery.      no  one  deserves  that.      you  understand,     yes?    ❞        if  not,      she  would  work  to  convince  him.      she  saw  potential  in  him.      she  would  use  that.       a  more  devious  grin  spread  across  her  lips  as  he  confirmed  what  she  wanted,     and  she  slowly  nodded  her  head.       ❝    i  see  the  potential  in  you,     theo.     you’re  willing  to  protect  this  town  and  keep  yourself  alive  too,      aren’t  you?   ❞      that  should  be  everyone’s  goal.       ❝    we  have  weapons.       and  we  have  the  ability  to  train  you  on  them  all.       i  don’t  want  anyone  out  there  feeling  like  they’re  incapable  of  protecting  themselves;      you’ll  understand  how  to  use  them  before  you  have  to.     ❞       she  wanted  to  leave  no  room  for  ERROR.        a  more  sympathetic  expression  washed  over  her  face  as  he  described  the  creatures,      instantly  WORRIED  that  the  boy  feared  them.        she  didn’t  want  people  to  be  scared;      she  wanted  them  to  take  their  power  back.     ❝     and  that’s  why  we  do  these  tests,     to  ensure  that  those  MONSTERS  aren’t  trying  to  hurt  us.       if  we  know  who  the  enemy  is,      we  can  be  more  prepared  ourselves.   ❞      but  there  was  still  so  much  about  the  supernatural  she  didn’t  understand  yet,     like  the  fact  that  not  all  supernatural  creatures  were  affected  by  mountain  ash   ——     CHIMERAS.     she  took  a  deep  breath,      nodding  her  head  in  a  sorrowful  manner.      ❝   this  town  is  overrun  with  supernatural  creature.      as  long  as  they’re  here,     we’re   not  safe.       they’re  all  threats.      they  all  must  be  eliminated.     ❞      her  heart  BROKE  for  his  words,     sympathy  would  be  obvious  in  her  scent.      she  reached  her  hands  out,     pulling  his  between  both  of  hers.        ❝   i’m  so  sorry  they’re  not  who  you  thought   they  were.      i’m  sorry  they’ve  betrayed  you.    but  you’re  not  SAFE  with  them.       you  are  safe  with  us.   ❞        they  would  TURN  ON  HIM  first  chance  they  got,     just  as  scott  had  done  when  he  didn’t  save  her.

 🔪 * NOLAN.

but they were good people.                       NOT MONSTERS.    nolan wishes that he could convince her of that.   but even he didn’t realize right away,   having to be thrown in multiple situations before he was able to open his eyes to the truth.     surely,   it’d be easier if she saw the mercy they were willing to show with her own eyes,   right?    but if she ran into more wolves like jiang or tierney,    it’d just fuel her even more.   it’d prove her point.    he gulps at the thought of the beast returning,   leaving torn,  bloody bodies wherever it went.    eyes shut for a few seconds,   nodding upon opening them.     ❝     what if you do  ..    get rid of them.    they’re gone and then,   THEN,    something like that comes back for us…     ❞       they wouldn’t survive.    she had to know that.   the number of casualties they suffered had been enough to start a war.     enough to enrage the people of beacon hills,    RIGHTFULLY SO.     but nolan’s point of view was changing.    gabe died for this.   a kid,   someone who belonged on the lacrosse field doing something he loved.   someone who did not deserve to die.   and it was all for something that was lost in the end anyway.    it wouldn’t stop with him.   there’d be more.    if they kept dying,    who would she protect?    it didn’t seem like it was worth it to him.     but he gets where she’s coming from.    he always has and he always will.    her words earn a small smile from the boy,    but only because they seemed to be agreeing on something again.    it wasn’t too late for her.    there was still enough time for her to realize.     (   and that realization didn’t have to come seconds before her own death.   )     for once,    he was able to see outside of himself.      ❝     i don’t wanna lose you to this too.    i mean,   i.    i don’t know.     i just don’t think it’s worth it anymore.   the people who lost family members,    brothers …   sisters  …    what if they die too?   it’s just more loss for that family.  it .    it wouldn’t bring anyone back.    ❞      tamora has already tried to drive the supernatural out of beacon hills,   hasn’t she?    what other options were there?         ❝     i shouldn’t be the only one who’s protected like that …     ❞   

there’s so much left for her to learn   -----    but all the research she’s done,    all the advice she’s gotten,   it’s all one sided.     she’s closed off to the TRUTH of it all,    that the supernatural isn’t full of simply just monsters,    they’re not all like the beast.    and while some have shown her that they are different,     she doesn’t see the GOOD in them.      if she had,    things would be different  -----    she would be made aware of her mistakes.     what happened between gabe and the chimera has her skeptical,    it’s a START.     she just needs to believe that it really is the beginning of some kind of clarity   ----   she needs to open her mind.    nolan can help with that;    if she trusts anyone,   it’s going to be HIM.       she sighs,    eyes resting on nolan’s.      ❝   that’s the purpose of ridding the world of supernatural creatures entirely.     the more supernatural creatures there are,    the better their odds at bringing MORE.     we’ll have nothing to fight if they’re all gone.   ❞      it sounds much simpler than it is,    she knows that   ----   and she knows logically,   it’s not likely that will work or that they can even accomplish it.     she just has to believe in something.     ❝   what makes you think that any of these supernaturals we’ve come across are going to help us against them?     they’re not in this for us.    they’re in it for them,   ❞      she reminds him.    that’s how she saw it;   there’s a reason scott didn’t help her or any of the bodies on the bus that night.    he ran towards the beast.    either he was with him,   or he only cared to protect his pack,    not the rest of the town    (   there’s so much she doesn’t know.   )        ❝   they protect themselves first.     and so do we,  ❞       she insists.     she lost her way a bit  ----   no one was supposed to die,     at least no HUMANS.     humans getting caught in the crossfire were exactly what she needed to fear through all of this.     brows furrow,    and while she’s thankful that he doesn’t want to lose her,    she wonders how far he’s fallen away from her own theories.     ❝   we can’t let that happen to anyone.    not to me,    not to you   -----   not to them.    nolan,    what happened to gabe isn’t something that’s going to happen again.      that’s why we’re taking a step back from this.     but all those people who have lost their family,    they’re still at risk.     they shouldn’t have to know what that’s like.   ❞        she sighs,     features softening.     ❝   you won’t be.      everyone will be protected.    i’m not doing this just to save the people i care about personally.      i want to do this because i want everyone to be protected.   ❞      there’s nothing selfish about it;    it’s her selfless nature that’s requiring her to take these steps   -----  she’s just run into too many negatives.

I so desperately wanted Tamora and Ms. Martin to talk, because COME ON- Natalie PRIDED herself on having convinced dozens of kids that they were crazy/had hallucinated seeing Scott fight the Beast, calling it acute teenage stress syndrome or some BS? I really wanted to see Tamora go at her for lying to children and convincing them they were crazy when she should have helped protect them.

ah!!   i agree!!    this is something i so badly wanted to see happen.     because natalie definitely has a skewed way of taking care of these kids   -----     like how she moved corey,  liam,  and mason up a grade just to get them out of beacon hills sooner because of the dangerous things that happen there.      that’s what i find interesting about all the adults that aren’t supernatural themselves.    sheriff stilinski is an obvious example   -----    we see him doing the best he can to be a good sheriff.    and most of the time,    he is,    but when we take a step back from it and look at it in a general sense,     monroe was right,    he’s a corrupted cop because he lies to more people than he tells the truth too.      and it’s SO INTERESTING because we see the sheriff struggle with this over and over again,   how much he HATES covering up crimes when it has something to do with the supernatural because he knows it’s not right,     and he’s constantly faced with this difficult decision   ----    tell the truth and risk chaos everywhere,    or lie and,   unfortunately,   disrespect those who have been hurt by something they don’t know the truth about.      

that’s what’s so good about season 6b,   people like natalie and sheriff  ----   they’re going to be the BEST protectors now that they can be honest about what’s happening in the town now that the supernatural has been exposed,     but they definitely hurt many people for lying to them before.     just like tamora,    she was grateful because the sheriff was the one who saved her,    but he also lied to her.    he convinced her that she was crazy because he told her what attacked her was a bear,    even though she was certain it was more   -----    the same way i’m sure nolan felt with natalie,    who told them it was just an animal attack.    there are so many parallels between nolan and monroe that make that dynamic so important.  

6b exemplified the FLAWS of everyone who was covering up the supernatural,    and i thought that was so interesting to watch.    the sheriff’s storyline was SO WELL DONE in my opinion because it was so very necessary   -----    but i’m disappointed we didn’t get to see more of natalie,    because i really think her interactions with monroe would’ve been interesting.     especially with kids going around stabbing other kids to see if they were supernatural,    it would’ve been interesting to see how she reacted.    and yes,    absolutely   ----   it’s clear that monroe and nolan had many discussions about what they both saw,    and if he would’ve told tamora that natalie was trying to convince them that what they saw wasn’t actually there,     she would have been angry because she’s so desperate to protect kids like nolan,    and natalie is just another one of those people who is covering up the truth making this an even more unsafe environment.   

they’re both pretty twisted,    but i would say monroe and ms.  martin have some similarities.     natalie wants to protect lydia’s friends and does it in ways that inevitably hurt the humans around them,     while monroe is so desperate to protect humans that it’s obviously hurting the supernatural beings around them.      that’s why the fight between them would’ve been so intense to watch   -----    because i would’ve loved to see what natalie fought back with.     i think the sheriff understood that monroe was right with the things she said to him    (    i think that the sheriff has always felt guilty for the choices he’s made knowing he has to lie to so many people through it,    so hearing someone call him out for it probably hit close to home.    )       and you’re right,   she was definitely proud when she told mason and corey she had convinced those kids in the library that they didn’t see what they think they saw,    which inevitably hurt them all more   ----   as we saw with nolan    (   unrelated but nolan’s character was one of the most RELEVANT minor roles in this entire series for that reasoning alone.   )    

natalie has been known to do things like this before   -----   she denoted tracy’s very real night terrors to just  ‘  common anxiety  ‘  and then the girl immediately went off to kill her father,   therapist,   and almost natalie herself all while she was sleeping.     i don’t know if she’s just unfit for her job,   or if she’s working to skew the supernatural that much so other people aren’t at all focused on it,    but that’s what i love about natalie’s character.    she’s one character i would say was really relevant in 6b even though we didn’t see her much   ----   we definitely should have.     we got to see monroe dragging both raf and sheriff   (   and telling the truth in both cases   )    but that interaction with ms.  martin would’ve been so good!!

                       season 6b has introduced so many unnamed characters with no backstories that are so relevant to this entire series and offers the perfect place for ocs and crossovers to fit in.      while it’s easy to create enemies for tamora and since she has so many on the show,    i want to focus on some of the alliances she has   ——-   because realistically,     the entire town of beacon hills is following her lead,    and that’s exactly why this war is so dangerous right now.     i would love to make establish connections with her to really write about her role as a leader in all of this,     so here are some connections i’m still dying to have!!        (   ocs  /  crossovers  /   whatever fits   )   

police officers.     the cops in beacon hills have just found out that they’ve been lying to families for years about the real deaths of their loved ones.     they feel humiliated for not knowing the truth,     they feel betrayed by sheriff stilinski for leading them to lie,     and they feel guilty for never giving these families real closure because they are responsible for lying to them.      with tamora in charge now,     they look to her to give them the full truth and to protect them   —-    and as seen in 6.19,    that means giving her access to all cases for the past decade to start putting puzzle pieces together    (   and for tamora,     to know who the real enemies are.   )   

experienced hunters.      tamora is recruiting everyone she can find to help them in their current war.     these experienced hunters could help her    (   given that she’s still new herself    )      and can help train new hunters to ensure their army is at their very best.    

new hunters.     tamora’s goal is to protect the entire town and make it safe again,     meaning she’s giving weapons to those who have no experience using them.      to the neighbors who have been exposed to the supernatural and are terrified of their own home,     tamora is going above and beyond to ensure that they are protected.     with giving them new weapons to use,     she’s working to train everyone to ensure that they are able to survive    —–     and with anyone who’s hesitant to stay on her side,     she often works with manipulation,     amplifying their fear because if they don’t follow her,     she believes they’re dead at the hands of the supernatural.    

family of loved ones who were killed by the supernatural.      these are people who feel betrayed by their neighbors,    by the sheriff of the town,    etc.    because they were told a lie about how their loved ones died,     and now that they know about the supernatural,    they’re forced to go through that grieving process all over again.     they’re angry,    upset,    betrayed,    and want vengeance for what happened to their loved ones.     creating backstories for these characters can fit in at any point in the timeline if you wanted  (   family of those who were sacrificed in season 3,     family of the chimeras who died with no explanation and bodies never found,    etc.    )     

adults and students who have been attacked  /  seen the supernatural first hand.      much like nolan and tamora’s back story,     these people have been faced with the supernatural before but didn’t know what to make of it.     for tamora,    she was sure it was something more than just an animal,     but everyone told her otherwise.      in search for validation of her own fears,     she seeks out others to see what they’ve experienced before.    just like with nolan,    she finds herself much more protective of those who have been in the same situation as her.      these people could have been hurt,    or they could have seen something    (   like nolan in the library,     or the beast running down the highway,    etc.   )     for students,   these are people she’d guide  /   try to get information out of   /    try to help protect.      she would be very insistent on giving these students a place to belong and a safer place to live,      while also trying to give them ways to protect themselves.

people who knew tamora during her attack.     at the time of her attack,     she was just a teacher at the high school and had to take a leave for some time  —-  before she eventually came back to add the guidance counselor to her job description.     this could be other teachers who were with her that night that refuse to believe in the supernatural   /   her friends or family who are trying to help her recover but don’t really comprehend what she’s going through   /   etc.     her headspace directly after her attack is so important and the foundation of what turned her into the hunter and power seeker she is now,    so i’ve love to write more of that too. 

tamora’s network of hunters.     post series,   she moves on to keep hunting worldwide and builds a network of hunters.     this could be people who have established their own armies in other places of the world or people who are looking for someone to follow. 

tamora is   1)   leading a revolution to end all supernatural creatures    2)  the new sheriff in town      3)    the guidance counselor + humanities teacher who can lead students in the right  (hers)  direction     4)     a new hunter with little experience but confident in her abilities      5)    a victim of an attack by the supernatural     6)   post series,   a traveling hunter who hopes to connect people worldwide for this same goal.     ——–       so there are so many ways to connect her to your character or to put your character into the current arc,    even if you’ve never seen it   —–   i’d love to help work out those connections!! e

she was going to get herself killed,   wasn’t she?   just like gabe.    nolan could only hope that he wouldn’t be there to witness it like he was with his former   “   friend.   “       hopefully,   she’d STOP before anything like that could happen to her.     ❝     …   for how long?    people shouldn’t have to fear for their lives for so long.     ❞      he was referring to both sides,    understanding the head space of the hunters considering he was just there himself and knowing that the supernatural didn’t only consist of the BAD.     they had hearts.   theo had shown gabe more mercy that night at the hospital than the side that was supposed to protect them did.   after seeing that,   there was no way he could trust them.   a good portion of them hardly liked him to begin with.   he was a known traitor.   and if they were so willing to kill someone who actually followed them without much of a second thought,   he knows that he wouldn’t be spared.   monroe was the only one he had any trust in.   and even that still teetered.     ❝     what are you gonna do?      like   …    what’s the,    what’s your goal?     ❞          liam,     mason,    corey.    the kids who accepted him even after everything he did  :    were they going to be put in danger again?     nolan knows why the woman in front of him is fighting.   he knows that she’s hurting.    but there had to be another way.      he nods at her words quickly,   finding it a lot easier to talk about his own feelings with the idea that he wouldn’t be the only one opening up.     

she didn’t think nolan wanted to hear it,     she could tell by the way he was looking back at her and the way he was reacting to her plans.      she still needed the supernatural GONE.      but what came before that was ensuring the safety of this town   -----   and if she couldn’t do that with weapons that they weren’t using responsibly,     she had to take her time.     now more than ever,    it was clear how delicate this all was.     there was too much miscommunication amongst the hunters,    that was clear when she learned that gabe had attacked nolan with the idea that it was what monroe wanted.   her goal was to keep humans out of pain.     ❝   nolan,     you know how i feel about this.     and i know that people aren’t safe if they’re living in the same place as supernatural creatures.     as long as they’re here,    they’ll attract more creatures.     they’ll attract more tragedies.     we don’t want to see what we saw last year.   ❞       and she refused to meet it again.       she gulped,     her hands resting on the desk in front of her as she shook her head.     ❝   i don’t know yet.     my plan is no longer affective.     it hurt the people i was trying to keep safe   ----    like you.       and you,    nolan,    don’t deserve anymore pain.     you’ve had enough for your lifetime.   ❞      that meant physically and emotionally.      ❝   i have to find a way to be more efficient.      don’t worry,    i always find a way.   ❞       maybe it was better that gerard was gone;   the things the two of them wanted from the hunters differed in the way that he was so willing to give up their own,    and she was so against it.     she could have a better focus now.       ❝    i’m not going to make you do anything you don’t want to do.      things will be different.     you’re not putting yourself in risky positions,      i refuse to let that happen to you again.   ❞       that was a start.
