12.05 - 1: fragmenting the balloon exercise; each performer begins talking about their story to the balloon or using the balloon to become a moment or character of their heart story, the other performers tag on and take on the balloon energy in that moment but then extend it into their own heart story for a while until another performer tags in AIMS: to illicit stories & explore performer’s potential,
where do the balloons go exercise? the performers all squeeze balloons between the three bodies and explore taking the balloons to different parts of the room. They will call out what to name each part of the room and polly and kieran write this on a big piece of paper. Once they have finished calling out the different areas of the room and trying to guide the group there they will decide how many balloons to place in the map of the target audiences. AIM: to think about who the story is aimed at and where the performers are drawn to e.g. child audiences, patients etc.
