“Thanks.” Elijah said, handing the girl the correct money. “Nah, that’s all the process of growing up too - they’ll look back and think ‘wow, why did I think that was a big deal?’” He grinned, “That’s good - we all need a little rebellious side, don’t you think? I teach maths and physics. I was just pretty good at it in school myself and yeah - thought I’d study it more and then teach it to kids. I always knew I just wanted to be a teacher anyway.”
“Oh I definitely agree. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come across people who could be a little more rebellious and to let loose, it would have done them a lot of good.” Beatrix found herself impressed with that. “Math and physics, those are some pretty difficult subjects I’m impressed. It takes a special person to be a teacher. I know I would never be able to do it.”
