“That was the worst pick-up line I’ve ever heard,.” Olivia let out a small laugh “I don’t think we’ve had sex before, I would remember.”
“It’s what I’m trying to do.” Olivia nodded “ Indeed, words are easier than actions.”
“Well I don’t know if others would fall for it, people say I’m a strange cookie.”
“ What is it that you do?” Olivia raised an eyebrow “ You know you’ve just contradicted yoursel, right?”
“I can see that.” Olivia simply shruugged “Must be tough. I admire people who keep themselves from freaking out in emergency situations. I flip with small stuff. “
“Of course, I’ll be there.” Olivia gave the other a reassuring smile “By the way, I’m Olivia.” she extended out her hand for the other to shake.
Opening up the tequila bottle, she poured what she thought would be a reasonable amount for a shot in each mug “To us.” Olivia grabbed her mug and held it up, not being able to contain a small laugh.
“Yeah, but I can’t really let a book be ublished with my name when I don’t like it.” Olivia shook her head, she was always going back on her own work and changing eveything. “It was brought up by me writing under a deadline.”
“Normally I don’t.” Olivia shrugged “I just didn’t want you to feel bad about spilling the drink.”
Her lips formed a silent “o” as she realized what was happening. Liv gladly gave the bottle back, trying to avoid eye contact “I’m really sorry about that.” it was the only thing she could think that would fit in this situation. “You shouldn’t leave it out in the open during a party, though.”
oliviaaclarke:
“…Guess who just found the expensive tequila!”
“My friend told me I’m not allowed to drink that anymore because I don’t appreciate it,” Anton replied very seriously knitting his brow. “But I think he got over it. Maybe. I don’t know. Where did that come from?”
“I think your friend just told you that so he would have all the drinks to himself.” Liv couldn’t help but laugh “From a magical place called the kitchen.”
“It was all by itself on a kitchen counter, who would have thought someone would abandon this precious mid party.”
“It’s nice to meet you too.” Olivia giggled “Totally on board.”
Liv looked down at her twiddling thumbs for a few seconds. “So... how have you been?” she asked trying not to let them fall into an awkward silence.
Liv’s grin turned into a full smile as a laugh escaped her lips “You really love fire, don’t you? And with the amount of alcohol in this party, it would be such a great idea.” she couldn’t help but feel amused.
“It’s okay.” Liv reassured the other “ My name’s Olivia, okay? I’m gonna help you.” she spoke with a soothing oice. The girl started llooking around the bedroom, there was a dress , she assumed, cumprled up in a corner. “Maybe that’s yours?” she asked pointing to it.
Taking a sip from her beer she shrugged “It’s like the whole town is inside this house. Not complaining though.”
