My name is Bryan. Some know me as DJ Ataxic. I am from Kansas City, Missouri and I am a husband, a father, a dj, a bike enthusiast.I Iove hip hop culture and belong to 3 different crews, Tableturners, FLAVORPAK and The Black Steel Bros. I got my first set of turntables in '98 and have been spinning ever since. My interest in bikes came in probably around 2009, however, I didn't pick up my first bike til 2013. I did lots of research, and more importantly, I could not afford one at the time. I enjoy biking because it gets me away from all of the technology that follows me around everyday. I enjoy checking out new places and trails and simply enjoying the freedom that comes with having a bike.Feel free to check out the videos, posts and pictures and comment if you would like. I picked up some new pedals for my 2012 Specialized Rockhopper 29er as well as a new bike rack.  I got a Thule Vertex 5 Bike rack for only $239 (this includes taxes) at REI.  It was last year’s model and it was the demo that they had in the store.  Couldn’t pass it up for that price! I also got the white Specialized flat pedals from my friends at Bike Stop in Blue Springs.  Gotta love that place.

New Year, New stuff going on...

Well, it is 2015 and so far it has been great, but extremely busy.  I have started a new job at Argosy Casino as the Marketing Manager.  So far, I love it and the team is great!

I am hoping to wrap up the "clubby" gigs for this month and next month, then will move on to just doing the gigs that I love!  No more top 40 nonsense.  No more "Mustard on the beat" stuff.  Looking forward to performing more in churches as well as spinning the funk, soul and Hip Hop that I have always loved.  

With this time freeing up, I am hoping to get more into riding in the spring as well as beginning to start my next obsession/passion of working with wood.  Building furniture and small carpentry work.  I can't wait to learn it all!!
