I still can’t get over smeyer being a grown-ass adult and still hating other woman THAT much…. Literally the only women in the saga she doesn’t actively shit on are Esme, the housewife, and angela, the quiet preacher’s daughter. Every other woman is somehow terrible; Jessica’s jealous and insincere, Renee is selfish and an awful mother, Rosalie is vain and a jerk, Alice is shallow and talks too much, Tanya’s annoying and slutty bc she’s interested in Edward, Lauren is obsessed with popularity and has no meaningful aspirations, Leah is whiny and bitter…

Just, how do you go your entire life and legitimately believe that women who aren’t Exactly Like You are awful and undeserving of respect?!? Hey, the tiniest details are sometimes the most important. For instance, the car Edward drives in the book is a silver Volvo, right? Who really cares what exact make and model you get for the film adaptation as long as it’s some sort of silver Volvo, right? But Stephenie Meyer said it was a 2005 Volvo S60r. And choosing anything else for Edward’s main vehicle is honestly a mistake because the 2005 Volvo S60r has a button that pops the back headrests down to get rid of blind spots and Edward could totally use that feature when Emmett (or anyone else) gets annoying. Does the C30; even have that feature? If it doesn’t, why would you take that away from him?

hey all, so this ain’t twilight related but some folks might find it to be useful! i actually really like the darker blue of tumblr, but i hated (bc i have taste, lmao) how oversaturated and bright everything else was in comparison! so i made a custom theme to fix that, and i thought i’d share it for others who’d want to use it (and maybe fiddle around with it if they wanted!) you can find it here! i use stylus for custom css. here are some examples of what some of the icons and such look like with the code, and my messages are open for anyone who’d like help with using it (or if anyone has some feedback, it’s still a WIP!)
