Lawson looked at Beau and nodded. “You have a way at showing them while I sing or talk about mine.” He remarked as he smiled. “I do love when your actions show through how much you love and care about me.” He replied leaning into Beau’s frame. “You mean a lot to me too.” He responded before nodding. “I don’t think you know this one babe, so no worries. It’s a new one that’s not been released.” He spoke as he lifted the remote to the music player and pressed play on the stripped version his band did of his newer song. Feeling his fingers fall in place with the keys on the piano he sung the first verse before going into the chorus and second verse. “And you need to know that nobody can take your place. And you need to know that I’m hella obsessed with your face, your face.” He sung chuckling softly as he looked at Beau for a moment. Breaking into the chorus again he smiled. “Oh, my heart hurts so good. I love you, babe, so bad, so bad, oh yeah.” Repeating the line he let the instrumental track continue as he got up and took Beau’s hand guiding him with him. “Oh, my heart hurts, oh, my heart hurts, oh, my heart hurts, so bad, oh yeah.” He sung the words softly looking into Beau’s eyes as he managed to dropped down onto one knee. “You can tell me no, you can tell me yes, you can just look at me with that adorable confused expression like the one you are wearing now because ya don’t know what the bloody fuck I’m doing and I’m not sure I do either. I just know I feel safest with you. I feel loved and cared about. Trusted. I know I want to be with you for as long as you’ll keep me and even after I still will keep fighting for you. I have loved you before I knew you B. It seems crazy, a bit impossible, but the moment I laid eyes on you outside that bar that night before we officially met I knew I had to have you. You’ve saved me too many times for me to count and we have our flaws babe. God knows we fight and argue, but at the end of the day we share a bed, we share a place, we love each other and I want to be able to continue our growth.” Fishing in his pocket he pulled out the box. “I’m not asking you to marry me today, or tomorrow, or next week, or even a few months from now, I’m asking you to marry me one day, to wear this ring around your finger or even around that chain of yours to signify that it is to happen one day.” He spoke opening the box. “So Beau Valentine, yes I know you hate your last name and we can change that, will you be my fiance?”
The brunette watched as his boyfriend’s hands found the keys on the keyboard. He watched as the notes were played together, listening to his boyfriend sing the first verse. He watched his boyfriend’s face, smirking at some of the lyrics to the song that he was singing, swaying his head from side to side. “I know you love my face babe. I have no doubt about that,” he playfully commented between the song. The brunette watched as his boyfriend dropped onto his knee and raised his eyebrow, not knowing what Lawson was doing. Every thought was running around in Beau’s mind. He sounded as if the other was going to ask him to marry him, but Beau continued to listen not knowing if this was part of the song or if he was teasing him. Beau watched as Lawson got serious with him and asked him be his fiancé and went speechless. He tried to speak and get some words out but nothing came to mind. Beau brought his hand to Lawson’s hair and played with the strands, nodding his head. “I’d love to be your fiancé,” he confessed, leaning down to peck him. “I’d love to be able to marry you okay day.”
