Memoirs of a Geisha - (2005) Excellent. Beautiful. Stunning. I have yet to see Zhang Ziyi in a film that was not mesmerizing. This movie is a beautiful depiction of a culture within a culture...a heritage.
You cannot call yourself a true geisha until you can stop a man in his tracks with a single look.

The animations were beautiful as well as the voice of the lovely Kelly MacDonald. Right after the amazing short film "La Luna", Brave set the story immediately and brought out the best from the Scottish Highlands. A great addition to Pixar films.

Trading Places - (1983) One of the best comedies of the 1980’s, this stars Eddie Murphy in one of his best roles alongside Dan Aykroyd. The plot is great, a poor, homeless man who has resorted to a life of crime and an upper class yuppie involved in the stock market trade places when two devious brothers have a bet. This is a very well written, well acted, and well executed comedy, that makes you laugh, but also grips you with a strong plot. Also has a satisfying ending.

A fantastic, emotional and truly exhilarating film which grabs you from the moment it begins and ends with you refusing to let go. Forrest is the perfect character and Hanks really does him justice. Brilliant performances from all and is able to remain upbeat and heart warming even through the tough times Gump faces.

Subtle, delicate, touching and fascinating pledge for the life as fruit of dream. About the ambiguous taste of imagination and about existence like a spectacular trip. Ewan Mc Gregor acting is brilliant. Nuances, accents, inflexion of words, smile or gestures are bricks of a magnificent character, touching, warm, credible.Such a moving film.
